Soak up the RV "camping" lifestyle in this private countryside farm. Take a dip in the pool, have a campfire, or sit out and enjoy the sunset and stars. The RV is located in its own private “campsite” on our 3 acre property. We are surrounded by other country farms with horses, goats, donkeys, chickens, etc. If you are up early enough in the morning, you might see a gray fox family that live on our property. Sasquatch has also been spotted down the Sasquatch trail at the back of the property. You are only about 5 minutes from town and restaurants. You will be camping and able to enjoy the private area outside the RV. Feel free to roam around the property and take in the scenery. Fire up the BBQ (Traeger & Blackstone Grill), play some cornhole, and enjoy the pool! The owner lives in the main house and is available 24/7 to make your stay awesome. The RV has all the amenities you will need and is located near Yosemite, Kings, and Sequoia National Parks. Take in the views of the Sierra Mountain Range on the horizon above our pasture. The RV has a full sized pull out sofa bed, a dinette that converts into a full sized bed, and a separate bedroom with a queen size memory foam mattress. A TV and free Wifi are included. Guest access: Guests have access to the area all around the RV and the backyard of the home. They also have access to the swimming pool and cabana near the pool. Please prepare for a camping in nature experience which includes bugs, pests, rustic restrooms, heated showers, gorgeous, minimally managed watersheds and the most beautiful starry skies! At River Ranch Campgrounds, Tuolumne, CA we offer a range of activities to make your stay enjoyable. Take a hike on one of the many trails winding through the Stanislaus National Forest at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, or cast a line in the North Fork of the Tuolumne River or Basin Creek for some great native fishing. After a long day of exploration, come back to the campgrounds and relax by the firepit or enjoy a picnic in one of our many picnic areas. Activities in the campground include horseshoes, sand volleyball, sandbox for the kiddos and frisbee golf for all. We pride ourselves on blending nature and family camping in a safe, serene environment. We have one bathhouse with flushing toilets and heated showers; additional portables and vault toilets are located throughout the campground for convenience. Important notes: We are off-grid. There is no electricity in the campground with exception of a small solar powered system to operate our entry gate, guest Wi-Fi and intercom. Outlets are not available for guest use. All water is labeled non-potable. Guests may purify/filter at their discretion. Our campground is home to wildlife. You can minimize unwanted encounters by properly storing food and garbage. We have one central bathhouse with 3 flushing toilets. Sites vary in distance from a short walk to a short drive. The bathhouse has 4 shower stalls in the rear of the building. The bathhouse is closed from 10pm to 8am. The bathhouse does not have electricity or interior lighting. Our Hacienda section ("H" Sites) has vault toilets. Portables are located throughout the campground for your convenience. There is minimal privacy from other campers due to the placement of the sites and the way our trees and vegetation is trimmed for fire resistance. All guests and vehicles must be registered upon arrival.

Weekend Trip to Green Acres slip

This spot was perfect, my fiancé and I stopped here on our way to Yosemite from San Francisco for a night to plug in and make sure our camper was ready for the weekend. It is just outside Yosemite’s border and about an hour and a half from Yosemite Valley. Elyse’s spot was very quiet and on an amazing property shared with a airbnb and laundry/bathroom to use. We watched deer right on our porch in the morning and was a great place to start our trip, couldn’t recommend it more!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to the national parks, and Clovis is such a charming town. As a family of four (two adults and two kids), the RV was just right for us: comfortable, cozy, and with everything we needed. The pool was a big hit, and we loved having it to relax after our outings. We visited Yosemite and even stopped by the waterpark in Fresno on our way out, which made the trip extra fun. The host was very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend!

A wonderful camping experience with two other couples and our three dogs. The sites are very spacious, with great tree coverage to provide some much needed shade from the summer sun. The facilities were top notch - clean toilets and hot showers! Francis greeted us on arrival and he made us very welcome over some wine tasting - the wines were super - we especially liked the Baby Doll rose and The Stray cab (we returned every day for more!). We also enjoyed playing Bocce amongst the vines! We had the added benefit of being there for one of Francis’ summer concert series where we enjoyed drinking more wine and dancing the night away to California Creedence. A fantastic long weekend and we’re already planning a return visit in the Fall. Thank you Francis and the Prospect 772 team.

Great place to camp. Francis has everything amazingly set up. Bathrooms are the best ones we found on our 14 day road trip around the national parks, including public and private campgrounds. The spots are good and it is a quiet place at night, since the small road next to the ranch barely has any traffic at all. Francis was kind and helpful and there if we needed something.

Our experience at River Ranch Campground was truly a piece of heaven on earth. The tranquility of the location, combined with its stunning natural beauty, made for an unforgettable stay. The campground offers easy access to the river, providing a peaceful and idyllic setting to relax and enjoy nature. The amenities were also fantastic. the bathrooms were clean, and the hot showers were the cherry on top, making our stay comfortable and refreshing. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed every moment we spent there. Cyto and Constantino were incredibly lovely and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We also want to express our gratitude to Michelle, who asked us about our interests before assigning us a campsite — a thoughtful touch that is rarely seen. Thanks to her, we were given the perfect spot to enjoy our time. We truly appreciate this amazing experience and will definitely return again. Highly recommend River Ranch Campground for anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful retreat in nature!

River Ranch Campground was such a peaceful and welcoming spot to unwind. There was plenty of room to explore, relax, and take in the calm atmosphere. I especially loved how easy it was to access the river—it made for a perfect place to cool off or just hang out by the water. The nearby town and stores were only a short drive away, which made everything super convenient. You can tell the campsite was created with care and love. From the handwritten signs and well-maintained bathrooms to the toys for kids and the cozy little host office, every detail added to the charm. The Wi-Fi hotspot was a thoughtful touch too! Michelle was such a sweet and eccentric host—her energy really added to the experience. I’d definitely come back again! (I will say beware of the skunks! lol)

Was a great experience, will definitely come here again. Very shady. Clean bathrooms with hot showers and plenty of portapottys in between campsites if you don’t want to walk to the restrooms. Those are also kept clean. The creak is so pretty. Was worth every penny.

We absolutely loved this campsite. Francis was so accommodating and welcoming! We stayed for two nights on a little getaway with our Australian shepherd and we had a blast. There are lots of flat areas to set up camp, and the bathrooms/showers were extremely clean and well kept. We popped into the winery twice for a glass of wine and the wine was also amazing — we left with a few bottles! The wildlife was also so close by. We saw deer, cows, jackrabbits and all sorts of birds. We can’t wait to come back for another season to experience it then.

we stayed for 2 nights with our dogs and really enjoyed it! the vibe was super chill! great spot for couples looking to unwind. the bathrooms were a pleasure to use: super clean and always stocked with TP and hand soap (seriously appreciated that!). only heads-up is there were quite a few dried burr weeds that got stuck in our dogs’ fur, which was a bit of a pain to deal with. 🥲 but overall, awesome stay—thanks so much for having us! ♥️

Especially beautiful, peaceful and safe, and impressively accommodating property and campsites. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Shade trees were especially welcomed during hot July weather. Well kept and clean. I’ll go back again and again.

Weekend Trip to Green Acres slip

This was our first time trying out Hip Camp and what a wonderful first time it was! We go camping to get some peace and quiet and that is exactly what we found here. Our camp host was very quick to answer all my questions. The electric water and sewer were all conveniently located. The laundry and bath room were very clean. Pro Tips: - There is no circuit breaker on the 30A service. Use care when plugging in and unplugging. - On backing in, it is best to drive straight toward the trailer on the far left, then start backing around the drive into slot 1 (marked as Hip Camp). Takes a little effort to get backed in properly but it is very worth it once you are all set up. We will definitely be back!
