Built in the 50’s it is sitting on 2 parcels and is over ½ acre in size. We also have 2 other cabins for rent in Julian for larger groups. The outhouse that you see was used when it was first built and now is for storage. The original owner built the house himself and it was originally on piers alone with no other foundation! There is a folder in the bedroom closet of the house over the years. The decorations were here when we bought it so we kept them to preserve the house’s uniqueness. We treasure this house which is nestled amongst the trees and has so many beautiful birds that visit. Many turkeys love to stop by too! If you hear the deep cooing from the monster doves (who are very shy) you can try to spot one. They are amazing. We really hope you love it as much as we do.

Tiny Cabin #2 (TC2) sits on top of the property with Mountain to Ocean views. It's a great place for a weekend getaway for Star gazing, watch a sunset and City lights. A place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. A short drive away is the towns of Alpine and Descanso, Cuyamaca State Park and Laguna Mountain. San Diego Beaches are down I-8 . TC2 has two seating areas for your privacy. Plus, plenty of space to roam around. It's above the common game and dining area. Inside has a queen size bed, a small refrigerator, sink, Coffee maker, and cabinet with cooking supplies. There is a microwave, one burner hot plate. The BBQ is propane. We have made some improvements to the TC put in new sturdy steps, bed frame and lights. While a campfire ban is on we do allow Duraflame type logs. The property is located in a high risk fire zone.

This is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday lives. The site is very peaceful and has all the needed essentials for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the tranquility of the campsite; as well as the local restaurants, stores and the Turtle Rock Ridge Winery, which was nice and is walking distance from the campsite. Becky is a very nice hostess; she gave us fabulous referrals to great places to go and checked in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We definitely will be returning.

A quaint spot 3 miles or so outside of Ramona. Just tucked away enough you can almost drive by and miss it. The tiny cabins has its charms, not extravagant but has what you need. I would recommend keeping the windows cracked, the airflow is superb, did not feel stuffy once. Mind your head when you go to bed or the ceilings are closer than you think but there’s still plenty of room to stretch out your arms. Nature is an arm reach away, bats eating the bugs at night, mourning doves cooing in the morning, coyotes playfully walk by. Plenty of eateries nearby, from drunken noodles to shrimp burritos it was a pleasant surprise to get such good food. I would come again, I’d like to enjoy the pool more and walk around as well.

We loved our stay at JoeLynns property!! we were the only people there (other than JoLynn) and the tiny cabin was perfect for a little glamping trip. The views were incredible for sunset and bed was super comfy.

We had a fantastic time this weekend at JoLynn's place. It's a beautiful piece of land with great views and plenty of space to explore in the chaparral. The cabin was great and the heater was enough to keep it comfortable at night. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful stay in the mountains.
