I camped solo with my dog at Feel Good Camp and loved it! The communal kitchen was great, I was happy to not pack my camp kitchen gear. The vibe of the campground is very peaceful and comfortable. I can’t wait to go back!

This campsite is truly a hidden gem. The photos don’t justify the unique beauty, character and special details this location has. The communal kitchen, eating areas were clean and well stocked. The fire pits are seating areas were beautifully designed. It was like stepping into a magical village. The landscaping and design of the cottages, walkways, railing, swings and even bathrooms were exceptional. The hosts were friendly and easily communicated with me throughout the whole process. My boyfriend and small dogs really enjoyed for short stay and we will be returning here once more.

Booked last min trip. For the price, timing and location I couldn’t be happier. It was a safe place for me and my girl to stay with a bathroom and shower available. Didn’t have to worry about anyone messing with our stuff or car compared to staying in the city. This was located on a ranch. Basic set up that had a gate we can lock and unlock whenever we needed to leave which is nice. Compared to some other camp spots anyone can walk on the property/park. We had some deer visitors that welcomed our stay which was really nice to see. It would have been nice to be able to set up a fire pit. Maybe in the future there can be dug out dedicated spots to enjoy a fire. During dry season through its understandable. We visited Monterey and Santa Cruz during our stay.

This place was amazing!!! The owners were very kind, welcoming and responsive. There is an outdoor kitchen, fully stocked with everything you could think of. There is an outdoor shower! But also enclosed showers. It was fun meeting people around the communal fire pits. There were couches to hang out and read or play games. The owners built everything around nature and it’s beautiful! There were cabins, tent sites and RV sites.

I travelled to the Secret Garden with my two 10 year old twin daughters and two dogs. Very chill and enchanting environment. The common area is cared for and well equipped. Great privacy combined with opportunity community gatherings if desired. The hosts Yeyen and Farbod were welcoming, warm and attentive. Extremely clean showers, bathrooms and living area. It's like a glamping experience with rustic charm.

Yeyen and Farbod were very warm and welcoming hosts. Directions were clear with plenty of follow up communication. Easy access. Sites for tents, pop-up campers, RV's, cabins, huge fully stocked communal kitchen, plenty of bathrooms/restrooms - something for everyone and all imaginatively laid out & decorated and spotlessly maintained. The gardens are both secret and really beautiful. Plenty of places to meander. Close to beaches. I had planned to stay only one night - and after an hour or so of being in that tranquil environment, I extended my stay by two additional nights!

Staying at Secret Gardens by the Bay was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Nestled in the stunning Santa Cruz mountains with ocean views and surrounded by nature, this place radiates beauty, creativity, and soul. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first since it really is a secret gem, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how Yeyen, Farbod, and Umer went the extra mile to make it a truly unforgettable experience. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and care created an atmosphere that felt welcoming, magical, and deeply grounding. The space itself is peaceful and inspiring, with a decorative style that reflects a deep connection to sustainability, personal and spiritual growth, and artistic expression. Everywhere you look, there’s something unique—from art installations to cozy corners tucked into the gardens—and it all feels vibrant, thoughtful, and full of life. I celebrated my birthday here and without question, it was the best birthday of my entire life. The space, the energy, the people—everything came together in the most beautiful way. This isn’t just a place to stay. It’s an experience. A place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and soak in the magic. I truly believe everyone should experience it at least once. I know I’ll treasure it for the rest of my life. 💖💖💖

Camping under the tree in the host’s yard was a surprisingly relaxing experience. The spot felt private and shaded, and having access to a toilet and shower just a short walk away made everything super convenient. The natural ambiance really made it special peacocks and other animals roam nearby, so you get to enjoy their sounds in the background. It added a peaceful, almost tropical vibe to the stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys a low-key, nature-infused camping spot with a few comforts!

My pups and I had a wonderful time! Nancy was so sweet and welcoming getting us settled in. The spot is comfortable and quiet with excellent amenities and plenty of space to spread out and relax. My pups ran around and had a great time chasing ground squirrels. They loved it so much I had to convince them to go to bed at night! Nancy also sent us lists she made of recommendations for parks and beaches they would enjoy! We will definitely come back!

this was a last minute booking and i’m happy i did. great little car camp spot. julie helped me back in when i arrived after 6. she had been in text communication with me all day about my arrival. it was nice. when i got there i took a hot shower, cooked a good dinner in the communal kitchen, talked to some of the other campers, enjoyed some of a shared campfire and then settled into my car. it was so quiet. quiet hours are enforced and the campers all respected it. it was so peaceful and was a beautiful morning wake up for an early start back to reality. definitely will return to stay in the glamping options!

Weekend Trip to Hilltop Vineyard Dome Glamping

As many others have said, the hill top spots (1-3) aren’t much for privacy or amenities, but they’re clean, level, nice and peaceful, simple really. Easy in and out access of the spots with a really nice view. Might be a little steep price wise for what they are, but all in all we’re happy with the stop and would definitely return for another stay.

Julie camp host was super helpful and friendly. 4-5 groups Friday night were all friendly and courteous. About 10 group/families Saturday same. Very clever and creative way to use this property. Very cozy, lights, fire pits were great. Bathrooms cleaned and well stocked. Showers cleaned stocked and instant hot water!

This is camping made easy. No need to bring your cooking supplies, stoves, barbeque and dinnerwares ! We have them all. If you like to be social and have bonfire and have a nice chat with fellow campers , this is the place for you. We are committed to provide good beds and beddings because we know how important good sleep is (even when you camp!) so we just spent time, money and energy to replace all of our camping mattresses with memory foam mattresses!!! We had people swear that this is the best bed they ever slept in. The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside. We're only 11 minutes away from Mount Madonna State Park and just 10 minutes from a local healthy grocery store and yoga studio. The beautiful Pajaro Dunes coastal area is just a 15-minute drive away, and the Santa Cruz Fairground is only two minutes away. Our location is surrounded by family friendly farms such as Gizdich ranch and nurseries, hence why it's considered the salad bowl of the United States. The Santa Cruz beaches are only 15-25 minutes away, while Monterey Bay Aquarium is just 30 minutes away and Gilroy Gardens is about 25 minutes away. The wine trail is also nearby. There are plenty of activities to enjoy nearby, including horseback riding at Mount Madonna Stable, Mount Madonna Retreat Center, hiking at Mount Madonna State Park, wine tastings at various wineries with stunning views, kayaking at Elkhorn Slough or any beaches, yoga at Watsonville Yoga or onsite, swimming, scuba diving in Monterey, visiting the Hanoman temple at Mount Madonna retreat center, and attending any events at the Santa Cruz Fairground. The property has 3 stalls for hot showers, 1 hand washing sink, 3 flushable toilettes, 1 communal outdoor kitchen with supplies of cookwares, dishes, mugs, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, coffee mugs, and 1 sink with hot water, 3 fire pits (2 of them is fire burning and 1 of them is propane), camping stoves, 1 gas barbeque and there is an electricity in the communal kitchen area. Propane for fireplace is included and Firewoods are available for sale. Board games, Books, Magazines, Lawn games are available as well as drawing papers and coloring pencils/markers/oil paint for our little artists. Your parking spot is within a very short walking distance and there is a wagon for you to use to haul your belongings to your camp site.

The Secret Gardens is surrounded by lots of natural beauties that will open your heart. The spirit of the ocean, the wave, the mountains, the trees, the people and the fragrant of the roses, the beauties of our amazing Dahlias will take you to another world. No pictures can describe how beautiful this place and we hear that every time our guests step out of their cars. It is located about 2 minutes drive from the beach and the Monterey bay, about 12 miles away South of Santa Cruz. The beaches here are more peaceful and spread out as long as your eyes can see. We are 33 miles away from Monterey aquarium but you almost don't have to go anywhere when you are here. There are many things to do such as hiking at Land of Medicine Buddha or Forrest of Nisene Mark, Stroll around at Capitola Village, Have coffee and do awesome thrift shopping in downtown Aptos or in Soquel, Get some free foods from Free Food church on Wednesday evening (Yes, locally grown organic produce!), have a picnic on the cliff to watch the sunset, this town kind of remind you what's like to be in town without big boxes and franchise stores everywhere, life as its finest. This campground is also a great setting for your celebrations with two stages, a celebration area, a stone fired pizza oven and a sound systems (These are extras). We also have two sites for Private Group Camping for RV and Tent camping if you want to have a separate area away from anyone else. They can accommodate at least 15 people. Please check out those sites if you plan to come in a group. If you bring your dogs or children we have a trail for you to stroll around the property in a natural setting. We purposely do not a lot of pictures to keep this place mystical and a secret gem. We'd like to WOW you when you get here.
