This was originally a Girl Scout camp called Singing Pines back in the 30’s. You’ll see as you roam around some of the original buildings and structures. It hasn’t been in operation as a Girl Scout camp for over 30 years. The neighbor camp bought the lease but haven’t had the funds to revive it yet. DIRECTIONS: Take Exit for Angeles Crest Hwy (Hwy 2) from the 210 Go North, up the mountain for 29 miles Turn left on Sulpher Springs Rd Go about a mile and you will see a Singing Pines sign up on a hill on the right side. There is a white gate which is usually open but if it's closed go ahead and open it. Go down that driveway about a mile and turn left at the fork. Follow that road down and around the lake staying to the right. Once you passed the lake there will be a little uphill and the location is on the left. Learn more about this land: The Skoolie is a converted short bus with two love seats that convert to an RV queen bed, sink, stove top, dinette, and over head lights. Outside is a private meadow with a short walk to a small lake. You can bring your fishing gear. It's stocked with Bass and Bluegill. Outside the Skoolie is a picnic table, fire pit (firewood $10 a bundle) and a hammock. Up the hill, a very short walk is the private campground toilet facility. This is not shared with anyone else. No cell phone reception no linens bring a sleeping bag or warm blankets. You can charge your phone in the Skoolie for a sunrise alarm or just to take pictures.

For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs and California Ranch Company. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. Fully outfitted kitchen with dishes, silverware, kitchen utensils, cookware, serving bowls, French press and pour over coffee maker (and filters), linens for kitchen, bathroom, and bedding (please specify # of beds being used). The stovetop, microwave and oven make meals a cinch, though restaurant options abound. Kitchen boasts a large sink and regular faucet to make life easier. Pantry and storage throughout ensure you’ll have room to make yourself at home. Has full slide-out, awning, indoor and outdoor speakers, Bluetooth music setup, tv, dvd (and selection of DVDs), games and cards, small camp bbq (with 2 small propane cannisters), and more. This 1968 Shasta Camper, located in a small garden within an urban neighborhood, sleeps up to four people, with additional space to set up tents if desired. It has a few amenities—some more rustic than others—including AC, refrigerator and freezer, stovetop (oven does not work), sinks, shower, internet, and coffee maker. Located just ten minutes from the Port of Long Beach and the Port of San Pedro, it’s a great launch point for cruise-goers. With swimming beaches only twenty minutes away, it’s an ideal option for a low-cost vacation. Help yourself to the freshest fruits, vegetables, and legumes from the garden, and watch the bees, butterflies, and grasshoppers happily pollinate, creating opportunities for new growth. The property is securely locked, and the entrance is video-monitored for your safety (and ours). It’s important to note that the camper (not a glamper) is vintage, and the convenience of the urban neighborhood can sometimes come with a variety of neighborhood sounds—though it can also be extremely quiet at times. Due to the desert climate, ants may accompany the pollinators and enter the camper if food or beverages are left out. The garden is shared with our home, so some privacy may be compromised when we tend to it.

Angel's Nest is a gem - especially at the price! It's a beautiful mountain cabin that has family entertainment in mind. We played shuffleboard all afternoon and switched it up with the arcade machine and basketball; the kids had a blast! Really lovely kitchen, bedrooms and living areas as well! Great for a family mountain getaway. Only warning is: there are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Keep that in mind when if that's an issue for you. Martin was also very responsive and hospitable! We will definitely be back!

Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. Tucked away on a dirt hill, the bright orange VW bus sits shaded against a huge boulder. It opens completely in the back for a cool breeze and paints a retro picture. There are two metal chairs besides it. I was expecting a picnic table, but that was absent. Luckily, I brought a table. The wooden platform below the bus was a really nice touch. I would have loved an outdoor rug to complete the look. I would recommend bringing your own lighting (lanterns, headlamps, lights). Overall, it's a unique, van life camping spot.

If you’re looking for a rustic and unique glamping experience surrounded by farm animals, you would love Namaste Farms. The treehouse is cozy, with thoughtful amenities like electricity, a heater, fan, tea kettle, instant coffee, utensils, mugs, and even wine glasses. We loved seeing the variety of animals on the property — sheep, ponies, a horse, peacocks, ducks, chickens, and a few friendly border collies. The location is convenient and close to plenty of restaurants and wineries, with flat, easy roads leading up to the property. The outdoor shower and toilet are private (not shared) and add to the glamping feel, while still offering modern comforts. Just keep in mind you’ll need to park outside the gate and carry your luggage in, and the space itself is best suited for smaller dogs (under 30 lbs). We stayed during mid-October and the overnight temperature was pleasant without needing to use the heater.

What an incredible weekend at Namaste and we can not wait to come back for another stay! We came in from Palm Springs for a nice relaxing weekened surrounded by farm life! My husband and i just celebrated 21 years together, 18 years married, and it was just what the dr ordered! The tree house was so fun and a cute little cozy place to stay. The Ranch was rustic, so charming, and nicely kept. We loved petting allllll of the animals and feeding the horses. The pups (gaudians) around the farm were so fun and kept me from missing my own that stayed home. Sean was so nice and we had so many nice chats with him about the animals, farm life, and his family. He gave us AWESOME suggestions on places to eat near by and they did not disappoint! Overall 10/10 I recommend and hope to return soon 🫶🏼

Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!

If you're wanting a rustic experience that gives you a break from city life and you can handle dust, dirt, cobwebs (and these can happen over night inside your cottage and WILL be in the common areas), with sounds of animals vocalizing at all hours of the day and night, then Namaste Farms is a perfect fit for you. While most guests (and your hosts) see the idiosyncrasies and obvious cohabitation with animals and bugs beautiful, you may not. If your primary focus is on amenities, and you're looking for a completely dust/dirt, cobweb/bug, and animal/animal sound free experience, a working farm is probably not a good fit for you. We are dog friendly, but to keep our free range animals safe (and we have had them injured or killed by people not recognizing that dogs are predatory by nature), please keep your dog easily under control and on a short leash at all times. Also, because it's not possible to control your dog on a long line, dogs may NOT be tied or tethered anywhere on the property. For the sake of the antique furniture, do not leave your dog alone in the cottage unless they are crate trained and in a crate. If you want to let your dog off leash, 2 blocks down our road (and off property), there is a large scrub field where you can let your dog run free. Thank you for supporting this 501c3 charity where all the revenue goes to support the animals and the large number of dogs we foster from high kill shelters. This booking is for the Hay Barn cottage located at Namaste Farms in the heart of Temecula's Wine Country. This is a beautiful and quiet (with the exception of animal/farm sounds) private working farm situated down a wide and maintained disintegrated granite/dirt rd. While the cottage is only 1/2 a mile from the city limits, it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries and most of the major equestrian facilities including Galway Downs, Green Acres and California Ranch Company. For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all within 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, and if you want to peruse all of them, we can arrange a driver for you (30.00/hour) who will drive (Jaguar) and take you anywhere within Temecula/Murrieta while happily waiting for you so you can quickly go to your next destination. If you're not interested in any of the above activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. At night, enjoy the sounds of serenity while roasting marshmallows at our wine barrel fire pit! The "Hay Barn" cottage is a studio with high ceilings, a beautiful stained glass window, a kitchenette and a rustically chic bathroom. The Hay Barn sleeps 3; one queen bed with a twin pull out. Please let us know ahead of time if you need the pullout and you MUST put the accurate number of people who are staying here. If you have more people in your group and don't want to share, please check out the main cottage, Hammie and the Treehouse in separate listings. Please keep in mind that we are not a "pretend farm" set up to simply attract people to our facility. This is an actual working farm where shepherdess, Natalie Redding (Nat Geo Wild's, Shear Madness) and her working dogs, Lacey, Lad and Nesta work every day. This means there is dirt, dust, chickens, peacocks, alfalfa, sheep, bugs, and other living beings associated with nature and farm life. People who've not had the opportunity to experience the beautiful and grounding life on a working farm may not understand this. I do stress that if you're an animal lover who is excited about staying at a true working farm, your co-guests may not share your verve. Please let them know there is dirt, dust, very little concrete or pavement, and they will surely leave with dust on their shoes. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax in nature and recharge you've found the right spot so please let us host you at The Tree Top Chalet! The kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances, Keurig and espresso machine, pantry staples, spices, and cookware to whip up anything you might wish. The deck provides a serene place to lounge and cozy up next to the firepit on a summer evening and a dining area to enjoy a BBQ on the natural gas grill. Upstairs find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (1 queen, 1 king, 1 twin day bed). Find a cozy room where the kiddos (or adults) can enjoy a snooze on the twin day bed or pull out for more room into a king. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner so you don't have to worry about a thing so you can freshen up after a day at the beach on the lake or slopes alike. Don't worry about a baby sitter, bring the entire fam we have a pack and play, baby gate, and high chair available. Two dedicated workspaces are available with large monitors to plug in a laptop (cables provided) and remote workers are welcomed and encourage to spend their workdays overlooking the forest. The house is equipped with ultra fast wifi and you can even take meetings out in the fresh air on the deck! Guests have access to both floors, indoor space and deck of the tree house. There is a keypad on the front door for easy self check-in and check-out. We will send you a unique access code before you arrive. Feel free to bring your furry friends along, under 55lbs. doggie's are welcome, with prior approval, message me for details. Not on furniture please :) The driveway is on a slight incline and can fit up to 4 parked cars (a rarity in the mountains). Please do your best to squeeze in and avoid street parking. Guests must be able to navigate going up and down stairs to access this home. Unfortunately it is not ADA accessible. - We want you to have fun but please be mindful of the neighbors & avoid loud noise or external speakers outdoors. Please be considerate of the quiet calm of the neighborhood between 9pm and 10am. - No smoking indoors or outdoors as we are in a high fire risk area. We may fine you for any evidence of smoking. - Fines for rule violation are issued by San Bernardino County (minimum of $1000) and will be the responsibility of the guest -Your safety matters. There is Ring door located upstairs in addition to an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry and some of the driveway. Snow Season Reminders: *The Tree Top Chalet on a street that is plowed by the county. Please be sure to check weather conditions and CalTrans for updates prior to your arrival. On occasions, depending on in climate weather and road conditions, tire chains are mandated by CalTrans and you will not be allowed to drive up the mountain without them in snowy conditions. Please note there will be checkpoints set up along the road where there will also be people to assist with chain installation for a fee. *Normal winter weather/road conditions are not grounds for reservation changes or cancellations. *We can provide snow removal service before guest check in, there are snow shovels and additional salt for you to utilize during your stay.
