We live on this 6 acres of beautiful land with a large variety of trees and plants. It also features a small beach and a Pickleball court free to use. Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills on route to Sequoia National Park makes our location very convenient. This is agricultural land which mainly grow citrus, nuts and other tree crops. Citrus groves have windmachines for frost protection and if the nighttime temperature dips below 36 degrees, they start up automatically. This can be noisy depending on how severe the frost threat is to the crops. We are 5 minutes from great restaurants and 45 minutes from Sequioa National Park.

YouTube video shows our vineyards on Keep Your Daydream - Episode 511 Our family's heritage in the San Joaquin Valley is over 100 years, we are California grown! The land was purchased from the railroad in 1908 by Grandpa Coen when he immigrated to the USA after his service to the British Empire during WW1. Grandpa established and maintained the vineyards during his life in California's Central Valley which he left to his daughter, Irene. She kept the farming tradition going with her husband, Al, and they expanded by purchasing surrounding land and planting more vines. Today their daughter, Cheryl, and son-in-law Rand continue the family farming tradition for the next century. These are working vineyards and family-owned for 100+ years. We have wide-open spaces to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life.

This exceptional land has been used privately by our family for decades for camping, offroading, exploring, getting away from it all. And now we have made it availalbe to the public! This land is located in Western Kern County north of Hwy 46. You will enjoy exclusive use of over 400 acres of untouched land. One of the most unique features of this property is the sandstone rock formations. The formations have been shaped over the centuries by the wind and rain, resulting in the coolest places to explore, windblown arches, and shallow caves and hollows. The sandstone can be slick and there are cliffs on this property, so please be very careful, especially with children.

Our 20-acre farm features peach trees, chickens, and two friendly dogs who will bark like crazy when you arrive. We’re located just 8 miles from the Kings River for floating and boating, 2 hours from the mountains, Shaver Lake, and Dinkey Creek area (our favorite camping destination), and only 2 miles from Kingsburg—a small town with several great restaurants and a brewery. My husband and I recently bought our first motorhome and hope to use it to travel around the country. We have two adult children, their spouses, and one new grandchild. Over the years, we’ve been grape farmers and foster parents. We’re looking forward to retirement, traveling the country, reconnecting with old friends, former foster children, and making new friends along the way.
