Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills on route to Sequoia National Park makes our location very convenient. This is agricultural land which mainly grow citrus, nuts and other tree crops. Citrus groves have windmachines for frost protection and if the nighttime temperature dips below 36 degrees, they start up automatically. This can be noisy depending on how severe the frost threat is to the crops. We are 5 minutes from great restaurants and 45 minutes from Sequioa National Park.

Our ranch is a 5 acre walnut grove, of which there is a dedicated RV/Camp site that is fenced off and landscaped for your outdoor country/farm life experience. Within the site there is a fire pit for you to enjoy an evening fire. There is 30/50 Amp power hook ups for an RV’s, Motor homes, and Travel Trailers, as well as water hook up/supply. Swimming in North Fork Tule River, miles of hiking trails on ranch. River Ridge Ranch goes from 1,000' elev. to 3,000' elevation. Hike right on the ranch. We are between Sequoia National Park (about an hour) and the Giant Sequoia National Monument (16 miles to groves up Hwy 190 and no entrance fee).

Please note: you are expected to leave the ranch and kitchen area as you found it, i.e., dishes washed thoroughly and dried and put away, recycling separated from trash, food scraps in compost buckets, sticky marshmallow removed from forks and surfaces (ick!). Thank you.

Sites are spread around on the east side of the property facing the river for beautiful river views while you sip coffee from your site. There are a multitude of recreation opportunities to enjoy.
On site is a work in progress and you will see project sites not fully completed. We have a hammock veranda that is fully shaded and a great place to relax along the river. Our family's heritage in the San Joaquin Valley is over 100 years, we are California grown!
The land was purchased from the railroad in 1908 by Grandpa Coen when he immigrated to the USA after his service to the British Empire during WW1.
Grandpa established and maintained the vineyards during his life in California's Central Valley which he left to his daughter, Irene. She kept the farming tradition going with her husband, Al, and they expanded by purchasing surrounding land and planting more vines. Today their daughter, Cheryl, and son-in-law Rand continue the family farming tradition for the next century.

OrangeRay, home of Pixie's Place Animal Sanctuary and Hospice was founded in 2007, when I left L.A. for the forest by the river to create, and to expand my shamanic pursuits. Being that Three Rivers was home to the socialist Kaweah Colony in the 1800's; which helped in the founding of Sequoia National Park; the area is rich in history. Poet John Muir was enchanted and inspired by this area; Walt Disney fell under her spell as well when he envisioned a "Swiss Chalet" style resort which never came to fruition. The water wars of California began right here; gold rush...right here!
"Kaweah" is the name given by the Indians for the sound the Crow makes. Three Rivers literally sits on slabs of quartz crystal, making rock hunting superb! As an energy practitioner, the quartz heightens the healing process; as well as creating an energy vortex.
My property sits on an area that was once an Indian village, and then the school house for the children of the pioneers. There was a huge Hare Krishna Colony up here in the 60-70's.
As a photographer and filmmaker, the lighting up here is amazing! The night skies literally pulsate with their celestial canopy. A great spot to sky watch as well!
The property is not kid-friendly, and is not really here for children as much as it is offered for the inner child in adults. WE ARE 420 friendly which is in opposition to most "family" landscapes....so please note this is not personal but I prefer no children xo
Also, I prefer no pets, as it disrupts the balance here with the animal residents :)

Tule elk, prog horn antelope, and valley quail are just some of the animals you may encounter on our ranch. The pond is full of fish (bass, blue gill & sun perch) so don’t forget your fishing poles (catch & release).

We are an ember free site year round due to wildfire risks & insurance purposes. We do however have propane fire pit rentals for $20 per night. - great for roasting s’mores & the ambience of camping. Please do not cook any meals on them. All cooking is to be done in the communal kitchen area.
The summer days can get pretty toasty and the winter nights can get very chilly so check the weather before your stay and plan accordingly. Don’t forget your swim suits as we have soaking troughs for you to cool off in.
-Also please note we are located an hour from the nearest town, no stores or gas stations. Please come fully equipped with your own utensils, cooking essentials, food and beverages. We sell ICE!! $5 per 5lb bag.
We are off grid, there is no electricity, all lights are battery or solar powered. You may want a flashlight or headlamp for walking around at night.

We had a wonderful night of sleep under the olives trees. They smelled wonderful! The fresh mandarin oranges off their trees were juicy and refreshing. Soft morning rooster sounds were cute to wake up to. Nice little 7am alarm to get back on the road. Would definitely spend a night again.

A beautiful property, with so many animals and nature spots to see! The only thing I would add that I didn’t realize in the ad or reviews, is the tent/suv spot is pretty open. Not really any privacy. It is next to cute cows with a nice bathroom though. Big bass in the pond!! Hosts were awesome, even took me in the chicken coop to find worms for fishing! We will definitely come back!❤️

The couple that runs Lemon Cove were so friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful spot, with excellent amenities. The rv pull through sites are a little closer together than most regular campgrounds, but all our neighbors were quiet and respectful so it didn't make a difference.

2 nights at The Squattage in the Sequoia National Forest!
The Squattage is the cutest little A-frame cabin I’ve ever been in! James is a great host and explained everything to us when we arrived. The lounge chairs outside were great to relax in after a long day of hiking! The location is great, close to the trail of 100 giants and the rest of Sequioa NP. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon!

Great private spot with no neighbors. Sweeping views. Bare bones just a fire pit and table , perfect for us and just as expected. Pretty easy to find using Google Maps. Missed the flowers by a couple weeks thus the foxtails were out and challenging with dogs. Other than the foxtails, it was a great spot. We’d come again earlier next spring during the green season.

The directions given were really accurate and helpful. As soon as we got there we were greeted and given a tour and some backstory on the land. It was a beautiful wonderland, there were many colorful decorations, plants, and we even had donkeys on the land for a bit. Be warned, it’s rattlesnake territory so bring some boots or something and watch where you’re going! There was a river below the campsite we were at and we had a short swim. There is a communal kitchen, living room, shower, & bathroom. We were allowed to use a wheel barrow to transport our things from the car to the campsite. The shower was awesome to use and everything was clean and maintained daily. Hosts were very accommodating, knowledgeable, & sweet to all guests who were there. There were also dogs & cats they have that would roam which made it so much more fun in my opinion. Definitely will be coming back, was my favorite site of the whole road trip!! :D

We absolutely loved our stay on these beautiful lands. Xico was so warm and welcoming and made sure we were set up with the perfect spot right on the river. We never slept better. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy more of what the land there has to offer.

Our second stay at Tule Elk Camp. What a difference a month makes! This time we were able to enjoy playing cornhole, kicking back at the pond listening to all the birds and spending an evening by Nolan’s firepit. Such a convenient and comfortable location. Great flowers in Carizzo! Thanks for everything!
