Weekend Trip to Joyful Heart
We had a very relaxing stay at the little cabin. The outdoor hot tub with the hot water was amazing, so relaxing! The bed was really comfortable and the bedding kept us snug and warm. Our host was great about checking to see if we had everything we needed and was very responsive but we never saw her as she gave us the privacy we were seeking. We loved this spot, very calm and beautiful

1 night at Delta Respite
I loved staying at the cabin. Itâs so close to town, yet feels like you are far away in the countryside, with chickens and birds and trees all around, and the water is just a short walk away. Waking up to the sound of birdsongs and rustling leaves, without any noise from cars, people or airplanes, felt like a dream come true. It was also such a pleasure to meet the lovely hostsâand of course, sweet and friendly dog Willie! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸

Such a tranquil place for me and my dog to refresh and rejuvenate from burnout and do nothing. You can see and hear different birds from treetops to ground floor-owls, blackbirds, chickens and roosters. I have a harmless bird dog vizsla lab mix and he loved it so much. The chirping was very Snow White and relaxing to hear. We even got the chance to meet Winnie the pig who was so super sweet. We left the back gate and were able to walk and collect our thoughts as we bird watched and enjoyed the view of Mount Diablo in the distance. The perfect do nothing place! I wish we stayed an extra day longer. It was cozy for me and my dog. The hosts were lovely, inviting, kind, and friendly. My dog loved their dogs.

What a beautiful corner Malania has made. Me and my boyfriend had a great time! Very close to Sonora and amazing restaurants and fun bars :) Kitchen has everything you would need! The tub is so much fun. Didnât expect the instant hot water available! The outdoor shower at night was so relaxing. I will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Joyful Heart
The cabin at Joyful Heart is absolutely magical! We loved staying here (this was our second time) and would love to return. Relaxing in the tub under the stars, enjoying crisp mornings full of birdsong, and having a cozy launching point for nearby hikes in Jamestown as well as for visiting Yosemite for a day -- it's a very dreamy place. In the winter, the cabin warms up nicely with the provided heater, and having hot water for bathing makes the chillier nights really lovely.

Kind and thoughtful hosts. Surrounded by animal companions (dogs, birds, cats, cows⌠farm life). Rich fertile land, wide open quiet space. Delicious bathtub and a fire pit.

Weekend Trip to Joyful Heart
The cozy cabin was a wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway.
Very private and has plenty of cooking equipment and little things to add to the enjoyment of your stay, like a hot shower, hot tub, towels, robes and lights.
The bed is comfortable, the cabin stays nice and warm with a heater.
Outside there is a firepit, camping stove, bbq and sink with running water.
We had an awesome time and would recommend this place as a getaway for couples any season.

Malaina was very kind and communicative regarding directions to the place, and gave amazing recommendations for sight seeing and hikes in the area. Our stay was so pleasant and cozy. The outdoor kitchen/sink setup was so great. It felt calming to get out of the city and stay here.

I had a lovely weekend at Malainaâs property. The hot tub was so fun and relaxing, and the bed was cozy and warm! We got to enjoy making breakfast in the outdoor kitchen and appreciated having coffee to enjoy. This place was perfect for getting to enjoy the great outdoors while being comfortable and cozy.

1 night at Delta Respite
Steve and Cici's place was ideal. I decided to take a last minute overnight trip to get away from work and decided to stay here because it was in a new part of the Bay Area I hadn't spent much time in and because of the great reviewa. I found the solitude I was looking for there but also felt safe. The property is on marshland and although I am not a border, I was amzed by the bird life. It is far beyond what you see at my wetlands experiences at Shoreline Park in Mountain View. I was blown away by the variety and number of birds visible from their property and in every direction. The cabin amenities included the most comfortable bed I've slept on, an oversized clawfoot bath and a firepit just outside the cabin door. I enjoyed spending time watching the fire and the dark night sky before sleeping well and riding home and work the next day. The night spent at the cabin was refreshing and renewed my spirit. I felt renewed. Thank you!
