Also to ensure that we keep our little slice of heaven beautiful, please pack out what you pack in. Our property is surrounded with views of Mount Lemmon, the Tortolita Mountain Park, Black Mountain, Newman Peak, and Picacho Peak. Come enjoy the prolific wildflowers of the desert bloom this spring! Campers can enjoy a warm beautiful sunset and star gazing in the evening, with views of the hazy band of the Milky Way and shooting stars next to the fire pit provided at each site. This is a safe place to get off the road for a bit, or to take a break from the busy/noisy city life, to relax and unwind in nature! Dogs are welcome, but please pick up after your pet!
There is also a Round Pen provided for travelers with up to 2 horses with a fill station for water. Feed will be intermittently available to purchase for those in need.

So when we married we moved to Washington DC knowing that in time we would make it west. 5 years later, when the traffic and the politics has taken its toll, we made a trip to Tucson and fell in love with this charming property that exudes all the beauty and grace of the Sonoran Desert. We looked at each other as we walked around looking at the stunning Mtn. Views and the mesquite fence and knew we were finally "home."
I've always adored the SW Hummingbirds and wanted to name the property La Hacienda Chuparosa. When we moved in, for the first week, every morning a hummingbird was sipping nectar from one of our plants in the front yard. We knew it was meant to be.
So we added a couple of horses to our dream, built some stalls, and now are ready to welcome you to La Hacienda Chuparosa. We know you will find the same magic here that we do.

You will find many opportunities for hiking and biking right out your door and additionally, all the needed essentials are within minutes, including, groceries, gas, and laundry. Bill and Colleen’s HH Ranch is a wonderful place to stay! We were very happy with the space for our rig… it was great to have the entire property fenced so our pup didn’t have to be leashed. She also had 3 doggie friends to play with. The pool was a welcome addition, we used it a couple of days while the temperature reached the 90’s! We can’t wait to return!

The campsite is beautiful, private, and peaceful. There is only one site and it is hundreds of feet to nearby homes, including the owner’s. About the only thing I heard is occasional traffic on the private dirt road that leads to the property and dead ends a few homes beyond. The site itself is large. The hookups are in excellent condition, with trash and recycling cans on site. The electrical is a single 30-amp. So, you’d need an adapter for 20 or 50 amp plugs. Bob and Cindy are very available by text or email. I expect to return!

As Janet's first hip camper we were pleased with the spot a nice wide open space with access to electricity and water. We could hear the birds chirp and even saw some bunnies. It was nice to be close to the hustle and bustle while still having a place to stay where we could get away and have some peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying if you have a chance.

Hosts were super welcoming, available, friendly and helpful. The property was a little sanctuary oasis in an otherwise residential area, which surprised us when we first arrived as we thought it was more remote, but it really feels that way when you’re inside the property. Lots of beautiful shady citrus trees and flowery bushes. Our kids enjoyed the lawn area, swing, pool and play area so much, we didn’t do much else during our stay in Tucson besides enjoy right where we were. Also enjoyed walking the dirts roads and the Mountain View.
