Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations. We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash. Daytime arrival highly recommended! I have lived here for 7 years. Initially it was a farm then I downsized, now it’s just corrals and some farming. Dates, orange, lime, lemon, Eucalyptuses, many types of cactus among other plants and flowers. Some fruits are available depending upon the season and pollination by the bees. I do a lot of recycling so if you can’t see the beauty in giving things more than one life and one use this may not be a match. It is 10 acres 2.5 is fenced in. Water, toilet, shower, place to do dishes. Electricity for a phone tablet tv simple for CAMPING. There is a septic that can be used if you stay over a week and if there are more campers we share. Some campers have used their own power source I don’t care about the noise I’m from NY you can’t top Train 2. Extra light extra money for APS. I have dogs and cats as guest please be aware It’s a durt road for camping but I’m walking distance away from the pavement. Exit of Wintersburg on the I10. Dollar General and Wintersburg General Store a mile away. Power station can be seen from home. God loves us with our differences and I love you too. Jesus loves you.

We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed. Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance. (Horse turnouts are an extra $25 each/per night)

Bordering on the the state trust land and the Hassayampa River bottom the view extends for miles. Campfires and grills are allowed only in the sand parking area, never on the grass. We also have a strict NO GLASS policy. We are very dog friendly, however you MUST tell us if you are bringing pets.

The RV spot was wonderful as it had full hookups and was nice and clean. Our dog Birdie was able to come and go from our camper without worrying about a leash as there were drive and walk gates to secure the area. We were able to let Birdie meet Spencer and Melissa’s dog Harley and they got along great. With their permission we would let Birdie and Harley play in the mornings to wear them both out. I will gladly stay again if we find ourselves in the Mesa area and there is availability. Very convenient location. Mike, Nancy, and Birdie.

We were looking for a last minute spot in the greater Phoenix area and we were hoping not to have to stay in a trailer park that seems so common. Shawn & Roxy’s spot was perfect. Located in a rural area in north Phoenix surrounded by saguaros, the spot was clean and quiet, except for the occasional coyote howl. The hosts were welcoming and responsive with all communications. The utilities worked great. Our only suggestion would be to have more signage to help campers see where to turn in to the property. We highly recommend this site!

Weekend Trip to Historic Downtown Gilbert Get Away

From the great initial contact from Sherry with clear instructions on how to get to, and back into, the site to the warm and friendly welcome on our arrival we had a fantastic one night stay in Downtown Gilbert. Don't worry if you're not used to backing in as Sherry's husband is on hand to help. They also warned about potential train noise which to be honest did not disturb us at all. Located very close to the historic area of Gilbert and to the local restaurants this is a brilliant location for a stay in Gilbert, especially if you're looking for a first night or more stay after picking up your RV rental.

Macy’s place was perfect for us! Quick drive to get out of Phoenix. Not too rustic, plenty of creature comforts, yet out of town with VIEWS and peaceful country setting. The ranch animals were a hit for my little girl. It was a three minute drive back to town for morning coffee. Brought it back to the trailer and enjoyed the peaceful, quiet morning. Macy and family were very accommodating. Her place felt very safe. Pet friendly was a plus.

The place was awesome! Don’t come in a Sudan though. The “road” up that mountain was very off road to say the least. There is mountain lions in the area, so it is definitely a good idea to bring bear spray or some other form of protection.

This is our second stay with Spencer and Melissa. We absolutely love this spot. Its perfect for privacy and quiet time. The yard is fenced and our dog has plenty of space to roam. Their dog Harley is the sweetest girl. She anxiously waits for us to open the gate between the yards so she can come play with our dog. We will definitely stay there every time we are in the area. We have a 45ft Class A and it fits wonderfully with lots of room to spare. We highly recommend this Mesa location.

Very nice vibe and atmosphere the goat Farmers cool and the lake is beautiful to watch the Sun go down highly recommend this campsite for only $33 what a great deal

1 night at Heaven on Earth

We loved this place! It was off the beaten path & slightly difficult to find due to road construction but, they met us at the road and lead us back to the campsite! Couldn’t have asked for better! It’s beautiful & wide open. We enjoyed watching the quail running about. We cooked out and counted several shooting stars. The bathrooms were new and in great condition. Would absolutely love to stay there again!

Weekend Trip to Gambel Field

Jane and her husband were very gracious hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. When our plans changed they were equally accommodating. The property is very nice and open, and the horses and neighboring animals were a nice bonus. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Phoenix Mountains Treehouse

At 29 years old I have never once been in a treehouse, I loved the treehouse! I love that I got to experience it. it had beautiful views, absolutely adored the birds chirping in the early morning and the sprinkler going off giving this amazing fresh smell of grass in the morning, it was such a refreshing wake up that I absolutely needed after having such a hectic week at work. Would absolutely recommend.
