Just a stones throw from historic Tombstone and the OK Corral and just around the bend from Bisbee and the copper queen mine; an old mining town with a new fangled twist. Follow the road down the hill. Our gate is where silver bill rd. dead ends on the left hand side. This property is at the base of the Mule Mountains with views looking over the San Pedro River to the Huachuca Mountains, the lights of Sierra Vista and San Pedro Mexico. It's two miles away from the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area, a popular trailhead for birdwatchers, hikers, and mountain bikers. It's just a 30 minute drive to Old Bisbee, a historic mining town with a vibrant music and art scene. Also within a half hour drive, you can reach the Coronado National Monument, or Miller Canyon. There is excellent cell coverage from Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T And... if you happen to fly a paramotor, you hit the jackpot. Just next to the camping spot, there is a landing zone. Learn more about this land: Dust off your cowboy boots and come pitch a tent on this starlit rugged terrain. This property is something special, a fenced in area on a real western ranch. Say howdy to the cows on your way in and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the peace and quiet or saddle up and check out the local tourist attractions. Just a stones throw from historic Tombstone and the OK Corral and just around the bend from Bisbee and the copper queen mine; an old mining town with a new fangled twist. This slice of paradise is up high lonesome road off of Gleeson road. Follow high lonesome rd for a couple miles and then go through the white painted steel push gate. Some times the ranch dogs are loose and they bark and act scary but they won’t do anything. Just ignore them if they are there(it’s not too common). Continue on that road until a slight right down a steep incline onto silver bill rd. There is one more slight right to remain on silver bill rd and then you should be home free. Follow the road down the hill. Our gate is where silver bill rd. dead ends on the left hand side. It’s best to have the gps route pre loaded while you still have a strong signal before you get out there. Have a serene stay!

Weekend Trip to Karla's Hummingbird Guest Ranch

This was my first time using HipCamp and boy, does Karla set the bar high. The property speaks for itself, attention to detail everywhere, very clean property and very well organized and thought out. Treated us with a community fire pit, got to make some new camp friends along the way. Restroom was super convenient and clean, the tent site allowed us to have a covered gazebo over us for added warmth and comfort. Overall a 5-star experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Oh, and Reba the donkey is super friendly and loves ear scritches in the morning 😁

I work out of town occasionaly and dont like to waste money on motel rooms. Itd great there are places like this where someone can just pitch a tent, and enjoy the quietness of the outdoors. The campsites themselves were great. A small open area surrounded by trees. There were chairs provided around campfire pits. A portapotty was provided, which is a great benefit you dont get while rustic camping. The price was unbeatable! I will definately be back to spend some more time with the awesome hosts, and the adorable animals!

This was a little slice of heaven in Patagonia. I've never stayed at a hipcamp this charming and perfect. From the outdoor shower (heaven after a long day of riding) to the quiet, to the laundry facilities, I can't think of how Melanie (and Joanie) could have made this haven any better. 20/10. We're already planning a trip back in the spring!

The common area is a great spot to hang out, watch a movie, and meet fellow travelers. The general area has some great food trucks and a fun neighborhood dive bar right across the street. Looking forward to coming back through.

The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. The outdoor movies were fun and popcorn was available. Morning coffee came with the stay which made it nice . The common areas were comfortable and nicely decorated. Although it was in the city limits it felt like it was in a world of it's own. It was secure by locked gates so I felt safe.

Karla’s place is as good as it gets, very clean and the set up was great, easy access to camp spots with electric and water at a convenient location. The facilities were top notch, next to the bathroom there’s your own private room with everything you need for a great stay, amenities were the best, pool access, pool house with table and chairs and the decoration throughout were great. Karla is the best, she treated us like we were family. When we go her way again we will definitely use her Hipcamp!!

My favorite things about camping here was that it was peaceful, quiet and the perfect spot for stargazing. It feels like you are far away from everything and everybody yet there is so much to see and do within a short drive. Claudia was attentive and ensured that we had everything needed. Having full hook-ups, internet and so much space all to ourselves felt quite luxurious!
