We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands. Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water. Discover Miller Peak, the highest peak in the Huachuca Mountains. Wilderness surrounding the area comprises vertical cliffs and deep canyons. Follow an 11.5-mile, moderately hard trail to the top of the mountain. The mountain rises 3,500 feet above the countrysidePets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.

I work out of town occasionaly and dont like to waste money on motel rooms. Itd great there are places like this where someone can just pitch a tent, and enjoy the quietness of the outdoors. The campsites themselves were great. A small open area surrounded by trees. There were chairs provided around campfire pits. A portapotty was provided, which is a great benefit you dont get while rustic camping. The price was unbeatable! I will definately be back to spend some more time with the awesome hosts, and the adorable animals!

From the outdoor shower (heaven after a long day of riding) to the quiet, to the laundry facilities, I can't think of how Melanie (and Joanie) could have made this haven any better. 20/10. Karla’s place is as good as it gets, very clean and the set up was great, easy access to camp spots with electric and water at a convenient location. The facilities were top notch, next to the bathroom there’s your own private room with everything you need for a great stay, amenities were the best, pool access, pool house with table and chairs and the decoration throughout were great. Karla is the best, she treated us like we were family. When we go her way again we will definitely use her Hipcamp!!

It feels like you are far away from everything and everybody yet there is so much to see and do within a short drive. Claudia was attentive and ensured that we had everything needed. Weekend Trip to "Lil Red Camper Glamping in Style"

My stay at Maxine and Chad's Hdden Oasis was wonderful. Due to circumstances, I was upgraded to a Casita. It was so very cute, had a nice kitchen, a lovely shower, and a very comfortable bed. It was perfect for my need. The love and attention given to Hdden Oasis as a parent everywhere you look. Every detail is delightful and exudes a loving presence I hope to come back again with my husband and spend more time here. This place, surrounded by intriguing mountains, which I have no doubt are dripping with birds during spring migration, is truly a gem.

This was our first time with Hipcamp and very impressed. First off Tim & Victoria went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. It had sites set so you weren’t super close. They just opened Playa Tortuga Ultra Lounge a domed space to meet with the other campers to visit stay out of the heat or use a heater on cold night or a propane fire pit and visiting. They have several other things to do for activities. Our campsite had a propane grill, sink and running water, fire ring, table and chairs and a tub with extras if you forgot something. Nothing was left out and we didn’t even bring all our usual stuff for tent camping as they had it for us. Fun place to stay

This cabin and land was exactly as described in the app. It was cozy the heater work the air conditioner worked hot water for the shower and a small refrigerator with a very very tiny freezer hot plate in microwave. Everything you need! I do intend to go back if she'll have me!
