The Moonshiner is set up on a private acre in a safe and peaceful neighborhood, approximately 30-40 minutes from the Grand Canyon (depending on your driving style and traffic). Guests have full private access to the camper and the surrounding yard. The camper is on a private acre and it’s all yours to do your thing. Your privacy will always be respected, and the property is laid out to ensure that. Please note that the camper does not lock from the outside, but you can lock yourself inside with a deadbolt. This is a community run camper/campsite. Open communication really helps things run smoothly, please contact me if there are any issues regarding your stay. We are unable to offer refunds due to weather, cold temperatures, road conditions or if it wasn't as easy to find as you would have liked. This is a camping adventure, you may face challenges, PLEASE know what you're getting yourself into and come prepared! 20 ft campervan

2 nights at Milky Way Hip Camp

We just stumbled on Christina’s listing and so happy we did! The spot was so quiet and remote, no service unless you hike up the hills (which is what we wanted!), and the stars at night are gorgeous. Christina was really easy to talk to and great with directions. She was always available if we needed anything and informative of the area. Seemed like a genuine great person. Side note to campers, prepare for flies! They didn’t care about our food but just would not leave us alone unless we had reflectors up. Definitely no fault of the host, it’s just the area. A pretty minor thing though, would still highly recommend staying if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. And a great spot for dogs!

We loved tent camping on Christina's lamd, she was super helpful and showed us the layout even though we arrived late. Great open spot for tent/campfires/cooking and so much more. Easily accessible by vehicle, we drove in a RWD while towing a trailer and made it just fine. Super clear skies no light pollution. Will definitely be staying here when i pass through again!!

Christina’s land was nestled amongst a national forest. Plenty of room. She is just getting started and know she will continue to make improvements to make every stay even better than the last. Christina met us at the land and escorted us to our area. You could tell she loved the land and wanted to share it with others who would love it too.

1 night at The Invisible Home |Grand Canyon|

The Invisible Room was a fun and cozy place! The space warms up quickly, Macario is responsive and the room is overall well kept. We had been warned in advance that there wouldn't be running water at all, but I wish we had anticipated getting more gallons of water to handle dishes and basic needs as the only water provided was 2 small bottles. The cutlery isn't the one on the pics, we only had leftover plastic cutlery. The fridge is a desk one, so super small - you can only fit about 4 cans in there. Furniture and decor also isn't what's on the pictures. We wished the mirrors/windows had been cleaned because they were really dirty all over. The instructions states a dumpster that we couldn't find although we tried hard, and the road is super long and bumpy so make sure to come in with a vehicle that can handle it - SUV or truck. I think it's a way better idea to stay there in the Spring or Summer, def not Winter.
