We are Kevin and Tammii. We moved to Mesa in 2019 to build our own “Field of Dreams”. In developing our property we added a Hip-Camp site to our vision. We’ve enjoyed hosting people from all around the country. We’re can accommodate guests for up to three weeks and unable to offer monthly rates. We welcome families with up to two children. Pets are welcome, two or less, and we have a designated pet area for their use. There are two nice sitting areas, a laundry shed with washer, dryer, and drying rack. Internet access is also available. More about the “Field of Dreams”: Our site has a paved level concrete pad with 50 amp service, water, and septic. RVs are required to come with empty holding tanks because of the septic system. We can accommodate up to 43 feet in length RVs. There is a nice landscaped patio area with table, chairs, umbrella, and a privacy screen. There is also a propane fire pit available. Our site is close to Costco, Starbucks, local restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a mall. There is nearby mountain biking, hiking, and site seeing. We have been traveling full time in our RV for 6 months and this was one of our favorite stays. Bill and his family are great hosts, and made us feel right at home. Our kids loved the in ground trampoline, the hot tub and the playground, and there was plenty of room for them to run around. The equine experience was a highlight for our family, and we learned a lot about horses. Couldn’t recommend Double H Hacienda any higher.

Weekend Trip to Saguaro Sky Ranch

What a cozy sanctuary! So many sweet and intentional touches to this serene and peaceful space! Our host Barbara was very welcoming and kind and showed us all the many unique things she's cultivated here. Two labyrinths, a zen garden, a medicine wheel area for prayer and contemplation, a beautiful little pond with fish, a vertical fire pit to enjoy at night under the stars and adorable ponies and horses to pet and visit with. My son had a truly wonderful experience ! The trailer/camper has all the creature comforts if you need them including a gas stove refrigerator, a full bathroom even! I was very impressed! We saw quail and coyotes each day and even some javalinas! Right out the door is landscape to behold with Saguaro West national Park minutes away and trails on her property to explore too. It was truly a blissful experience. 💗

It was a relatively private spot, and flat. The view out our back end, facing West, was spectacular, especially at sunset. All utilities worked as stated. Plenty of wildlife, javalinas( look like boars, but no big teeth. You still don't want to make them angry. We had a family of ten come thru most mornings. Very much worth it.

The location was super close to Saguaro National Park and also close to downtown Tucson. I would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Mesquite Haven

We stayed in one of their two bunkhouses.. Super cozy, kind of car culture themed.. The other one was more Western.. Close by, they have The Barn.. A simple kitchen and bathroom, available for everyone on the property to use.. ALL utensils, supplies, and grille tools. Super thoughtful! We opted for a couple of the Add-Ons.. Jen took very good attention to our requests! Next time, we're TOTALLY staying in the Tombstone Rose. We were really impressed with the property.. Did some local spots, ajen suggested.. They really have thought about almost everything! Thanks for the experience! We'll be back!

Awesome spot! The host was there to greet us, plenty of room for our truck and 25’ trailer. Nice, quiet location and meticulously well-kept! The pups were super happy to be able to run around. Absolutely would recommend and hopefully will be able to stop again next time we are through the area.

A magical stay under the stars in a secluded getaway beyond the light of the city. Friendly folks, chatted with them a bit before heading off to my site. So peaceful and quiet out there. Would highly recommend for anyone passing through or just looking for a stay away from the city life if youre in the area.

The RV spot was wonderful as it had full hookups and was nice and clean. Our dog Birdie was able to come and go from our camper without worrying about a leash as there were drive and walk gates to secure the area. We were able to let Birdie meet Spencer and Melissa’s dog Harley and they got along great. With their permission we would let Birdie and Harley play in the mornings to wear them both out. I will gladly stay again if we find ourselves in the Mesa area and there is availability. Very convenient location. Mike, Nancy, and Birdie.

The hosts were very friendly and not only provided us with a wine tasting, but gave us a thorough tour of their wine making process. We were invited to to hook up our RV to electricity and water, which always a plus on a warm day. Thank Dennis and Brie.

A gem of a place that I can’t recommend enough! A friend and I stayed here for a night in our transition from Sedona to Tucson and absolutely loved it. Conny and her family are the kindest people and so knowledgeable about the area. The casitas are gorgeous- well decorated and with cozy amenities. Will be coming back to stay again.

This is our second stay with Spencer and Melissa. We absolutely love this spot. Its perfect for privacy and quiet time. The yard is fenced and our dog has plenty of space to roam. Their dog Harley is the sweetest girl. She anxiously waits for us to open the gate between the yards so she can come play with our dog. We will definitely stay there every time we are in the area. We have a 45ft Class A and it fits wonderfully with lots of room to spare. We highly recommend this Mesa location.

We loved this place! It was off the beaten path & slightly difficult to find due to road construction but, they met us at the road and lead us back to the campsite! Couldn’t have asked for better! It’s beautiful & wide open. We enjoyed watching the quail running about. We cooked out and counted several shooting stars. The bathrooms were new and in great condition. Would absolutely love to stay there again!

Staying in the casita was the perfect setup for our getaway with our dogs! Visiting the desert with pets can be really hard, since the heat can be overwhelming and they aren’t allowed in many of the areas of the national park. Conny’s air conditioned Casita space was so perfect for us! We were able to keep the dogs safely inside for the hottest parts of the day, then hiked with them off leash through the acres and acres of BLM land that surrounds the property. I think this is one of the best ways to experience the desert, and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling with dogs. The land is beautiful and close enough to the national park that you get to experience all the wonder of the saguaros and the animals from the ranch. Be mindful of the distance from town though! The closest grocery store is 45 minutes away, and the road coming in can be difficult at night.
