You will be staying on several acres of lush desert filled with all types of desert plants, rocks and wildlife with mountain views! Explore around the property to find geodes, lava, granite, marble, limestone and more! Wildlife abounds with everything from rattlesnakes to cattle! We have several washes to explore and are told we are in an area with the most diverse desert plants. We are in view and an hour from Mt Lemon or 45 min to Picacho Peak and 30 min to Catalina State Park, Walmart and restaurants and a theater.360 mountain views with Mt Lemmon, diverse lush desert plants and wildlife, numerous types of rocks to collect, washes to explore and gather plantlife, while experiencing 5 degrees cooler than Tucson at 3200 elevation and consistent breezes. You will have LOTS of room to yourself! Dirt trails surround for hiking, biking, horses and ATV. Just off scenic HWY 79, Biosphere, and Oro Valley, Picacho Peak and Catalina state parks within 30 min away.  State Parks offer hiking, biking, seasonal creeks running thru scenic scenery and Mt Lemmon offers snow skiing 1 hr away.  Shopping, restaurants and a theater also less than half an hour drive. You won't believe Arizona's sunsets! *NOTE: You are free to allow pets to be unleashed at your discretion, keeping in mind this is the desert with cactus, snakes, scorpions, coyotes, javalina that enjoy the wilderness as well, so may want to only let your buddies be unleashed if they are good at staying right by you.

Lush Desert Ranch was the perfect spot for a peaceful and unique off-grid experience! The campsite was well-maintained. The remote location offered stunning desert views, beautiful night skies, and a true wilderness feel. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Amy, for a fantastic experience!

A stargazing gem

A great spot to stargaze around the campfire. The night sky is amazing there. Little to no light pollution. A beautiful spot in the Sonoran Desert. Very scenic. Amy is a great host. This is our third year staying here. Will return again.

Family Camping!

This was exactly what our family needed. We live in the Valley and just wanted a night away. It was perfect for the kids, dogs and us. Thank you so much for sharing this little slice of heaven with us. We will be back! LOVED THE FIREPIT! AND SUNSET!

Beautiful but no privacy
6 m campervan ·
The land and area were beautiful. However the campsite location is basically on the corner of two neighborhood roads, so there is no privacy with cars coming by often. Started to feel too much like we were camping in a turnout so we opted to leave and not stay for the second night though we had paid for it. Also, the listing invites visitors to explore the property but it’s very difficult to know where the property even is or ends. As mentioned, the site was in the corner of two roads. To explore the only other direction is towards the house, which was odd. Lots of private property listings all around the area. This campsite could be A+ if it was further into the property rather than on the edge. We are very easy going and have never left a less than stellar review but the campsite placement was just very odd.

The hosts were super welcoming and the place very lovely, lost in the middle of the desert. We will definitely go again!

Great little Desert Oasis
5 m pop-up camper ·
Amy has a nice little corner lot along a dirt road set up perfectly for our little camper! Easy to back in and fairly level surface for parking. There had been a bit of rain so the ground was a little mushy but we didn’t have a problem getting out. We also had to bail a night early due to some weather coming in and Amy offered an unexpected refund for one night - extremely accommodating and easy to reach via text. THANKS AGAIN!
