Property is quiet, safe and peaceful. It’s like being in the country but you still have fantastic cell service! We have room to store up to 4 horses with our mare motels as well as an 100x300 arena right on the property. Fully fenced. Outhouse on sight if you are spending the day working with your horses and don’t want to dirty your RV. 1 night at Mountain Vista Retreat

What a perfect location! With views of the mountains, forests and horse farms it is hard to believe you are just a few minutes from Phoenix. Cheryl and Jeff were very accommodating, despite my arriving past my own bedtime, let alone theirs. The spot is next to an attached garage at their home, but it felt like my own slice of heaven. Hook ups and the dump station were close by and easy to get to. I arrived after dark and was a bit surprised when I heard animal sounds, but quickly realized it was the neighbor’s horses. That was a treat that doesn’t happen where I live. It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful and I will return when I have time to enjoy the scenery and explore the nearby attractions like hiking and restaurants. I was in town for a medical appointment and made it my launch pad to northern AZ. Thank you to both Cheryl and Jeff! See you soon..

Your camping in the backyard of a house on a 2 acre plot. Although it appears to be suburban and the lot is walled/fenced on three sides there is an astonishing amount of wildlife here. Flocks of doves, coveys of quail, tons of rabbits, other birds and we could hear coyotes every morning. The Suarouro (sp?) Cactus are really impressive if you've never been right up close to one. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and Louise let me park the sprinter under the shade next to the corral... That was huge for keeping the van cool in 105 Phoenix weather. Thank you for that. The place is 20min from Mayo Clinc so we will definitely be back. And yes... we got a fantastic loaf of homemade bread.

Weekend Trip to Working Cattle Ranch

We had a truly unique and peaceful stay at this RV spot! If you're an animal lover or just looking for a relaxing rural experience, this place is a hidden gem. Waking up to the sounds of cows and goats right outside was a refreshing change from the usual RV park vibe. It was fun watching them graze and interact throughout the day. It really added charm and personality to the stay. The site itself was clean, level, and had all the basics we needed. Hosts were welcoming and responsive, happy to answer questions and even introduced us to a few of the animals. Highly recommend for families, animal lovers, or anyone wanting a quiet, countryside escape with a little extra character.

Perfect place for a camping getaway! Howard communicated so well throughout, and even had firewood ready for my after dark arrival. Close to Sedona and Montezuma Castle (and Well), but still felt away from the busy area. Loved it, will definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

I loved the location and it is 20 minutes to Sedona. The view was lovely there are a couple of local restaurants 5 minutes away as well as a gas station. Howard was very responsive and answered quickly to all of my questions. I would definitely come back again when visiting the Sedona area!

Louise’s property is delightful: located in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by desert shrubs and cactus. Birds and an occasional desert rabbit entertain during the day and the coyotes sing just after sunset most evenings. The area is very safe and scenic with ample shopping nearby. Louise is an excellent host and the property easily accommodated our truck and 34’ fifth wheel. We enjoyed our trip and look forward to returning.
