CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only and may be subject to fire bans. Firewood and ice are available for purchase (cash preferred).
Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available.
Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away.
Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd.

Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range.

Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available.
Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away.
Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd.

Yarralen is a peaceful 40-acre bush retreat on the Mid-North Coast of NSW, sitting under Mt Yarrahapinni and surrounded by National Parks. We’re halfway between Sydney and Brisbane and close to pristine beaches including Grassy Head, Scotts Head and the Macleay River.
Pet fees apply: $10 for campsites, $15 for lodgings (vans and units).
We offer a magical bush escape with modern facilities and a range of accommodation:
Campgrounds
* Eclectic Bush Haven Campground: Family-friendly camping (kids under 12 camp free) with access to the fully equipped camp kitchen, toilets, showers and electricity
* Yarralen Retreat Campground: Secluded area for fully self-contained off-road campers. A 4WD is needed for access (IMPORTANT: Campers who book Yarralen Retreat Camp Ground 2 DO NOT have access to the camp kitchen and amenities).

* Butterfly and Blue Van: Our Butterfly and Blue Van are renovated caravans offering cosy, comfortable stays surrounded by nature.
* Roos Rest: Cosy fully equipped 2 Bedroom home tucked inside Yarralen Retreat, surrounded by peaceful bushland
* Unit 1 and Unit 2: Offer simple, comfortable accomodation surrounded by peaceful bushland.
*Eco Bush Cabins: Our Ruby Red, Cream Leo and Blue Ivy Cabins offer cosy, nature filled stays with rustic charm and peaceful surrounds.

Your Private Bush Retreat: Hire the entire 40-acre Yarralen Retreat for your group and enjoy complete privacy, peaceful bush surrounds, and full access to all cabins, vans, campsites and to all facilities - including the magnesium pool, yoga deck, sauna, camp kitchen and rustic bush bath house - perfect for retreats, gatherings, and special events.
Explore eclectic artworks, forest pathways, water lilies and roaming peacocks. Campsites sit on grassed areas surrounded by tall shade trees. Enjoy the Magnesium pool, infra-red sauna, and cosy campfires at night (BYO Firewood).
Entry to Eclectic Bush Haven main camping area is via an asphalt driveway suitable for all vehicles. A 4WD is required for Yarralen Retreat Campground 2.

Imagine a mesmerizing camping destination nestled along the banks of the serene Clyde river. Towering trees provide a natural canopy overhead, dappling sunlight onto the lush forest floor. Brooman rests approximately half way between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the fresh water section of the Clyde River. The property stretches south on both sides of the river from the Old Sawmill Town located at its northern end.
Brooman is a working farm and encompasses lots of beautiful spaces, restored old buildings, two small mountains, fertile river flats, native forests, grasslands, deep water holes, tree covered rapid sections of river and sweeping views.
Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range.
The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. Some of the best restaurants and bars on the coast are less than 40 minutes drive at Milton and Mollymook.

This is a beautiful retreat 😍 ✨️ the spaces, the stillness. Sauna, pool and Magnesium bath... there is a community kitchen which has everything needed. I stayed in a cabin/cottage which was comfortable and clean. Julie is a great host and I will definitely be coming back!

Love the Shack, the inside and outside of the Shack is clean and tidy. The property is very near the river and my 2 sons enjoyed swimming and fishing in the river.
The Shack have a fireplace inside for cold nights.
The environment is very quite and serene. Very relaxing place to camp.

Our stay in the malee cabin was perfect!
Matt and Jenna are super friendly and helpful.
The land was beautiful and we loved that we could explore some bush tracks on the property. The amenities were nice and clean and they even have a family friendly shower room which was really helpful! We will definitely be back.

We were absolutely stoked with the Figtree House, it was perfect for our extended family. Very comfortable, private, and had everything we needed. Loved the firepit! The location of the Ingenia park is great too, a short drive from town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the pool was loved by the kids!

The Shack provided us with the perfect long weekend retreat. Phil has set up the Shack with a cooker, chairs, table, comfortable beds and cooking utensils. The view to the river is beautiful and we enjoyed a refreshing swim and paddle board. We loved the indoor and outdoor fire - plenty of firewood provided! The best part - total peace and quiet! We didn’t see anyone else on the property! Thanks Phil - we would love to come back!

We loved staying at the river shack - it has everything you need for a relaxing, off-grid holiday. The shack is well stocked with cooking supplies and firewood and the log burner kept us cosy during the cold nights. The view from the deck was lovely - we even saw 2 platypus! Would definitely recommend the shack!

The most beautiful site on the river. So private, serene and relaxing. We were a bit worried about the cold (sub zero) but the shack is SO cosy with the fire. Well stocked with cooking gear, firewood and two drums of water (we still BYO drinking water). We were visited by a wombat and platypus!
Perfect getaway for two couples and a dog.

1 night at The Nile Off Grid family farm
If Australia had a Yellowstone it'd be in Glen Alice. It was so nice waking up to rocky cliff faces in this beautiful valley. So comfy in the tiny home which have absolutely everything you'll need during your stay. Jacob was a great host, telling us all about the local spots and even offering to drive us up to the viewpoint nearby. We got a special morning welcome from the farm's head of cattle management, a little Kelpie called Rabit, and spent the morning checking out the swimming hole and coming back to a warm spa on the deck out the front of our cabin. Such a peaceful retreat, amazing views especially as the sun rises and sets and beautiful starry skies if you're lucky enough to get a clear night. Light a fire and hop in the fire-heated outdoor bath for an extra treat! We got the best mix of rest in nature and adventure.
