Site 5 - Campsite right outside Lassen NP
Very peaceful land for campsite setup with lots of trees. Restrooms were very clean with flush toilets. We had the sweetest tasting water from their potable water faucet. The cost of the campsite was reasonable. It was raining heavily from late afternoon and we didn’t have any sort of large tarp to spend our evening outside the tent so we ended up waiting in the car for a long time. It would have been great if there was some sort of shelter or community kitchen kind of area where people can cook and spend time on the days when it’s raining. Would definitely recommend this campsite on sunny days

Highly recommended! 15-20 min drive away from lassen volcanic national park. Everything you would need is available in the cabin. Very peaceful area.

We had a great two-night stay in the vintage camper van! It rained a lot Saturday night, but the van kept us dry and warm. Very effective space heater! It was stocked with many great amenities like various cookware, a kettle, a French press, etc. We were able to cook some delicious meals in the van. There was no wine opener or hand soap, however. There were multiple sets of sheets and pillowcases, so that felt clean and organized. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor cooking supplies because of the rain, but that was nice to have! The camper ceiling is a bit low, so if you are taller (6'1 and above), be mindful of your head. The showers take quarters, so plan accordingly if you want to use them. Overall, a cozy stay!

It was one of an experience, cold under pine trees with reachable proximity to the Lassen it is a go to place. It's clean and we had good fire camp with the grill . The rest rooms were clean

The spot was great. We had no problems finding the campsite. The bathroom, showers, and water all worked and were well kept. The drive to lassen national park was fairly quick. Would recommend this site.

We fell in love with our campsite! It was very clean and quiet and our campsite 12 seemed to have the most privacy, mind you I think we were the one tent campers our last 2 nights, probably because we checked in on a Sunday and left Wednesday.
The honor system of the firewood available to us for $6 a bundle and ice for 4 was extremely convenient, as opposed to the cute shop on the side of the highway 10 minutes away that sold bundles for $10.
We had a campfire going every late afternoon into the late evenings to keep us toasty in during the brisk October mountain air. We could hear the flow of Mills Creek right below us as we fell asleep each night under the stars.
We went on a few adventures to include the 25 min drive to Chester to check out the local fishing spot and fill up our gas tank before drive around lake Almador, following the beautiful yet windey drive to go visit the historic hot springs the Lasson National Forest offered us. There's no swimming in these hotsprings and you'll understand why if you visit but that didn't stop us from taking dip (or cold plunge rather) in lake Helena's freezing yet picturesque aquarium waters.
The shower available to us at the camp site was welcomed to get a quick scrub down and warm up in the hot water before preparing some tritip on the open fire with the provided firepit grill.
We will definitely be back! Maybe even to try out one of the yurts they have available to rent.

My first time ever camping and this was the best choice. The restrooms I went to were super clean, site #11 was perfectly near everything yet tucked away at the same time, & Jillian was soooo sweet.

We loved tent camping at Mill Creek! It was an amazing experience. Bathrooms were clean, fully stocked, and had hot/cold showers. At the lodge you can find fire wood. There were options to pay by cash or by Venmo, if you didn’t have signal they are kind enough to go by an honor system and pay later. They also had quarters for the showers and laundry in case you forgot to bring your own. There are lots of trees for shade and hanging hammocks. Site 12 was very large and a little further from the other sites which gave a little extra privacy. There was a trail near by leading to the creek. Overall loved the place and anyone reading must go to experience!!

Everything was perfect! Pots and pans on site made cooking easy. Shower was amazing! Fire pit took me back to my childhood. It’s hard to find campsites that don’t come with too many rules or annoying neighbors but this had neither. What a nice break from civilization! Thank you!!

As much as I love to leave good reviews, I'm a bit disappointed in this booking. On the listing for my tent campsite, it says that showers are available. When I scoped out the showers during the stay, the doors were locked with a sign saying that the showers were for glampers only. This put a big damper on my stay, but luckily i had body wipes and plenty of water.
The place was clean and had plenty of space between sites. I did find a doggy poop bag on my site next to a tree the morning I left. I was by myself and didn't have a dog with me. Please don't be that person.
Other than that, I'm not sure I'd come back. It's off season, so I'm not sure if things would be different with more campers around.

Mill Creek Resort is an absolute dream! It has so many amenities (laundry, showers, toilets) and is 30 minutes from the Lassen Volcanic NP entrance. I had everything I needed in the vintage 1970's camper with the fridge, heat, and futon. I love that there was water available in the trailer too. I was warm even when it got down to the 20's at night. I would definitely stay here again.

We could not have hoped for a better experience while camping. We stayed for 2 nights at site 8, and it was beautiful. There are neighboring camp sites, but this site is at the end of the path and had plenty of space between other sites. All the fellow campers were respectful and friendly. Having the bathrooms and potable water so close by was so helpful, especially with putting out the fire at night. We will definitely be coming back next season. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Wonderful location and great staff
Staff is very attentive, extremely friendly and helpful. The campgrounds are well maintained and the public areas kept clean and tidy. Campsite #11 is mostly shaded and does offer some privacy plus mesmerizing water sounds from the creek. Be aware that the closest faucet is on the other side of the campground (by #5) so about 600ft from this campsite. Getting down to the creek could potentially be a challenge as it is a steep descent/climb from the campground.

We had wonderful time at Mill Creek Resort, We camped at campsite #12, it was close to the creek and was walking distance to the trail to get to the creek. The amenities was really good, warm shower and clean. The staff was attentive and helpful, I also like how we had very good privacy from the other campers and staff, the quiet hours was respected and had a really good rest at night with the sound of the creek in the background. I loved the milky way that you can see at night, It was very dreamy & beautiful. There was a knot left on the trees for a hammock which was very helpful. The campground was really close to Lassen NP and was in the middle of everything. 100/10 would recommend and come back to this resort! Such a wonderful time and experience ❤️🦋🧚🏽♀️

It was very quaint. The bath and showers were very close, and very clean. It was very quiet in the woods. Carley was accommodating. She brought us lights when the electricity went out. A propane stove was outside and fun to cook on. The whole area had a pine scent, which we enjoyed. We had a soothing little creek running behind the camper. I would go there again.

Site 1 is not suitable for a 25 ft rv too small. Sites 2,3,4 are sites that work. But 4 is very unlevel by 5 inches. Very quiet, wooded area. The bathroom needed attention!

We absolutely loved this glamping site! It worked out great for us leaving really early on our last day to just roll out of bed and go. Also, we probably had the best sleep we’ve ever had camping. We even asked the owners about the mattress they purchased for it! We would definitely recommend this camping site to friends and family for a wonderful stay.

I was really impressed by the site, it was extremely easy to find and had many open spots near us. It felt very private and we were situated next to a very cute creek.

We had a great time tent camping here! Campsites are well marked, as are the bathrooms and potable water site. The sites are pretty close together, but there only a few other people around so it wasn’t bothersome. Pretty quick drive to Lassen and provisions in Chester. And the creek is beautiful!
