Hidden waterfalls and naturally-formed bridges are some of the sights on a Paris-area camping trip.
Although there’s nowhere to camp overnight in Paris, campers can tour the local horse farm and play a round of golf before heading to an RV park in Georgetown. Enjoy pull-through campsites for big rigs, tent sites with water views, and amenities like full hookups, bathhouses, laundry facilities, and wifi. Then, adventure to Carter Caves State Resort Park, roughly an hour away, to explore trails with natural bridges, view an underground waterfall in Cascade Cave, and fish from Smoky Valley Lake. Tent, RV, and equestrian campers are all welcome to stay on-site. Amenities are available—look for full hookups, picnic tables, and grill-top fire rings. Or, rent a cottage with a fully-equipped kitchen, private bathrooms, and a wood-burning fireplace. Zip to Daniel Boone National Forest, one hour south, to swim, boat, and fish at Cave Run Lake, hike the Double Arch Trail, and OHV on more than 150 miles of trails. Snag a cabin rental with furnishings, or a campsite with full hookups, drinking water, flush toilets, and hot showers.
