Gordens track camping grounds is located right on the fringe of the Alberton West state forest. This is an excellent place for mountain/dirtbike and horse riders. You could ride though the forest for days and not see all of it. Neerim South is located in the southern foothills of the Great Dividing Range, there is so much to see and do nearby, including Neerim South Brewery, Toronga Water Falls, walking trails, the famous Noojee Pub, Mt Baw Baw tourist drive, Blue rock Lake which is great for fishing and swimming, there's old historical trestle bridges, Walhalla Mining town and lots more.

The camp site has a large flat area and can accommodate most vehicles. The ground surface is level, but grass is a bit rough and expect some sticks and twigs and holes around. Horses sometimes graze the paddock and poo is picked up but if you're lucky you might find some remnants!
No wild party groups, please! Please respect the peaceful surrounds, our family and neighbours, so please keep the noise down after 10pm.
Sorry, but dogs are generally not allowed as we have dogs, free-ranging chickens, horses and cattle, and they may not mix well!

Our property is 5 acres comprising of a farmhouse, shed and gardens. Our campsites are grassy green flat paddocks with separate access, great views across open green pastures of grazing cattle and sheep with views of the majestic hills of Dumbalk South.
There's plenty to see and do in the area from the amazing Wilson's Prom Nat. Park (40 mins), to country town shopping (2 mins), waterfalls and more.
We are only a 10min walk or 3min bike ride from the Great Southern Rail Trail which is a multi-use, gentle trail suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, covering 14 towns and 130klm it runs from Nyora to Yarrum with panoramic views of lush farmland, rainforest and pristine seascapes. The Great Southern Rail Trail links several unique towns.
Just across the road you'll find Stony Creek Go Karts which is at 800 metres long, the longest Hire Kart track in Victoria and one of the few tracks that have racing karts and hire out karts as well as provide facilities to bring your own. (Book if poss). They also have other games facilities and an on-site café with great coffee and pizzas!
Ten minutes drive towards Dumbalk South takes you to Blue Tree Honey Farm, a great little tourist attraction where you can taste and buy honey from local areas, sample a beautiful cream tea/coffee, have lunch in the cafe or sit outside and admire the scenic countryside.
Just down the road towards Foster on your right you will find a fabulous panoramic lookout platform with views of Wilson's Promontory National Park (40 min) comprised of 125,000 acres of rainforests, extremely beautiful beaches, rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife. Trails from the Tidal River settlement lead to Squeaky Beach, with its white quartz squeaky sand. Nearby, Mt. Oberon offers views of Bass Strait and offshore islands and Wilsons Promontory Light station, built in 1859, is on the southern coast.
Nearby towns for shopping are Meeniyan, Leongatha and Foster. Leongatha has an indoor pool and Foster has a surprisingly good museum which as you walk through there are outbuildings like a jail and a schoolhouse, complete with school children!
There are so many attractions nearby as well as local festivals and markets just about every weekend that you will keep coming back to fit them all in.

We are 1 hour East of Melbourne along the M1, (and a couple of kms off the M1). Situated in West Gippsland, Casa Cucina is a feast for the senses from the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau, the Bunyip State Forest, the lush green valleys, to the rivers and streams… there is always something to do in West Gippsland for the curious. Other attractions in the area are Gumbuya World, Nangara Reserve, Noojee and Neerim South, PLUS of course the wineries.
The Tarago River backs onto our small yet spacious, open yet shaded space. The river is shallow for paddling, as well as ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. We also host a family of platypus if you are very quiet.
Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans (enquire for this option). This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group.
If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space.
As a reminder, all campers will need to be Self Contained as we have no toilet facilities, no access to fresh water, cold showers only and no cooking facilities.

Our camping spot is perfect for families or singles alike. We can cater for up to 5 caravans or family groups.
Space is a large grassed area on a slight incline with a firepit and hotplate, along with a shelter to get you out of the rain if required.
The space is perfect for children, with a large open space to run and play. Its also a great location for a stop over before taking off into the Avon Wilderness for a 4x4 adventure.
Just out the front gate is a riders paradise, be that mountain bike or motorbike.
Ride all day, and return to Kencher Park for a beer and a rest, ready for another day of adventure.
Kencher Park is the perfect location to return back to after a day of fly fishing on the Macalister river or a quick bass session in Lake Glenmaggie. 10 Minutes from Lake Glen Maggie, 4 Minutes from the entry to the Avon Wilderness, 10 Minutes from Blores Hill Mountain Bike Park, 20 Minutes from the sleepy town of Heyfield and 20 Minutes from the Newry Pub!

The cottage is a converted shed, with three bedrooms, a lovely living area and a cosy closed woodfire. We have a sheltered outdoor area, where you can have a barbeque, or have a small fire in a firedish. The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres .
We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats.
As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals.
Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...)
Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too.
As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax.
We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-)
We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here.
The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops)
We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens).
You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable)
Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-)
Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you.
There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash.
Dogs are not to sleep on the beds.
We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals.
Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...)
But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

No wild party groups, please! Please respect the peaceful surrounds, our family and neighbours, so please keep the noise down after 10pm.
Sorry, but dogs are generally not allowed as we have dogs, free-ranging chickens, horses and cattle, and they may not mix well!

There's plenty to see and do in the area from the amazing Wilson's Prom Nat. Park (40 mins), to country town shopping (2 mins), waterfalls and more.
We are only a 10min walk or 3min bike ride from the Great Southern Rail Trail which is a multi-use, gentle trail suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, covering 14 towns and 130klm it runs from Nyora to Yarrum with panoramic views of lush farmland, rainforest and pristine seascapes. The Great Southern Rail Trail links several unique towns.
Just across the road you'll find Stony Creek Go Karts which is at 800 metres long, the longest Hire Kart track in Victoria and one of the few tracks that have racing karts and hire out karts as well as provide facilities to bring your own. (Book if poss). They also have other games facilities and an on-site café with great coffee and pizzas!
Ten minutes drive towards Dumbalk South takes you to Blue Tree Honey Farm, a great little tourist attraction where you can taste and buy honey from local areas, sample a beautiful cream tea/coffee, have lunch in the cafe or sit outside and admire the scenic countryside.
Just down the road towards Foster on your right you will find a fabulous panoramic lookout platform with views of Wilson's Promontory National Park (40 min) comprised of 125,000 acres of rainforests, extremely beautiful beaches, rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife. Trails from the Tidal River settlement lead to Squeaky Beach, with its white quartz squeaky sand. Nearby, Mt. Oberon offers views of Bass Strait and offshore islands and Wilsons Promontory Light station, built in 1859, is on the southern coast.
Nearby towns for shopping are Meeniyan, Leongatha and Foster. Leongatha has an indoor pool and Foster has a surprisingly good museum which as you walk through there are outbuildings like a jail and a schoolhouse, complete with school children!
There are so many attractions nearby as well as local festivals and markets just about every weekend that you will keep coming back to fit them all in.

We are 1 hour East of Melbourne along the M1, (and a couple of kms off the M1). Situated in West Gippsland, Casa Cucina is a feast for the senses from the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau, the Bunyip State Forest, the lush green valleys, to the rivers and streams… there is always something to do in West Gippsland for the curious. Other attractions in the area are Gumbuya World, Nangara Reserve, Noojee and Neerim South, PLUS of course the wineries.
The Tarago River backs onto our small yet spacious, open yet shaded space. The river is shallow for paddling, as well as ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. We also host a family of platypus if you are very quiet.
Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans (enquire for this option). This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group.
If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space.
As a reminder, all campers will need to be Self Contained as we have no toilet facilities, no access to fresh water, cold showers only and no cooking facilities.

The cottage is a converted shed, with three bedrooms, a lovely living area and a cosy closed woodfire. We have a sheltered outdoor area, where you can have a barbeque, or have a small fire in a firedish. The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres .
We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats.
As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals.
Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...)
Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too.
As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax.
We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-)
We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here.
The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops)
We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens).
You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable)
Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-)
Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you.
There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash.
Dogs are not to sleep on the beds.
We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals.
Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...)
But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

Susan and Chris were amazing hosts. Obviously we were worried when Susan had to leave with her horse due to the possibility of fire. We left early the next day because of it. We were a bit disappointed that there were no more fish in the dam but we did manage to catch a few yabbies. We would definitely recommend this property!

We had the most wonderful time here! Our dogs loved it! We appriciated the distance between the 2 other camps aswell as the frest berries! Owner was extremely kind! Would recommend 100% and will definitely be coming back to stay if we are in the area again!

Location was great for day trips around the area eg Wilson’s Prom, Loch village or the rail trail. Camping area was very clean and tidy and the grass was lush.

A fantastic and very quiet site. Soooo much better than the packed seaside camps.
Steve was a great host ensuring we had power and understood the facilities available.
Although we were in a motorhome Steve allowed us to use the ‘ man cave ‘ apartment so we could watch the cricket and use the shower too - thanks.
Overall a great spot amongst the hills and valleys with good views.

My daughter and I camped at Millers farm and absolutely loved it. The site was nice and clean and open and we felt very safe.
The farm was absolutely stunning and Anne and Kate both went out of their way to make sure we got to meet all the animals which my daughter loved.
They checked to make sure we had everything we needed regularly but still made it feel like we had the place to ourselves, giving us our own space to relax and take in the scenery .
Would highly recommend for family trip with kids.

We absolutely loved our stay at Millers farm we had a fantastic time plus the well maintained ammenities and our spot was perfect. Our toddler loved the animals especially Zeek the goat and the turkeys!! We will definitely be back thank you to Kate and family for allowing us to stay.

The campsite was easy to find and Kate greeted us upon arrival. She was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The toilet was beyond expectation as other reviews mentioned which made camping just that much more enjoyable. It was a relatively quiet camping spot, next to a rural road but it barely has anyone drive down it. You’re kind of close to other campers but it didn’t bother us as everyone was very respectful and made it have a community vibe. Only downside I’d say is that the turkeys sort of follow you around so if you’re scared of large birds, might not be for you! But ultimately you’re staying on a farm so it’s part of the experience and nothing wrong with the campsite itself!

A very nice or excellent place to share with family and friends, you will not have problems for noise you are far from anyone and you will have contact with nature, the public bathrooms are only 10 minutes away by car, we love this place and in the future we would book again

What a beautiful slice of paradise Caitlin has! This was such an awesome stay, we loved feeding the horses & enjoying mulberries from Caitlins orchard! She also kindly lent us her double mattress as we under-calculated our ones size 🤣 Thanks so much, we really enjoyed ourselves x
