We loved camping in the orchard at Caitlin’s farm. Fantastic spot, Caitlin is a great host. Our kids had a lot of fun playing with Pepper the dog, and meeting Strawberry the pig. Would definitely come back.

We really appreciated the undercover area when a storm rolled in unexpectedly.

This was a great spot to camp. Nice and private and a firepit, fridge, toilet and power point. So good. Also the horses and pigs were so cute. Caitlin was very friendly and responsive as well. Would definitely stay again when visiting the Prom.

The farm was such a lovely spot to stay in, easy to find and the paddock was perfect for tents. Having animals on the farm was also a very lovely bonus. The host was great, she greated us on arrival, showed us around and gave us some local recommendations. All the facilities were great (it is a cold shower!). Would drfinitely recommend and stay again!

We loved our stay hosted by Caitlin and her family. There was plenty of space for us and our friends and the kids loved the animals.
It was so close to all the places we love visiting in the area!

Lovely family farm stay

This property was peaceful and well set up. I enjoyed camping among the horses and chickens.
The shower and toilet are rustic but fine for camping. I parked on top of the hill which was nice and private. I was lucky to catch the stars on clear night and see flocks of black cockatoos and other birds during the day.
Caitlin was welcoming, communicative and also gave me space to have a peaceful stay.
A safe,, peaceful and comfortable spot.

Caitlin was a lovely, welcoming host . Beautiful property close to the town and beach. We were on the “hill top” site which is the most private of the three sites, it does look onto the main site & you have to walk through the main site to access amenities. Good distance between sites & lovely having the horse paddocks next to us & free roaming chickens - plenty of toddler entertainment! Thanks for having us :)

Caitlin was an excellent host — friendly, welcoming and quick to help with any questions, but never intrusive. She struck that perfect balance of being available when needed, while giving us full space to settle in and enjoy our weekend. She even brought us fresh eggs, which we cooked over the campfire for breakfast — thank you so much!
The location is fantastic: only a couple of minutes’ drive from the beach and township. While there’s a road that runs alongside the property, it’s a quiet one, and we weren’t disturbed by traffic at all.
Facilities were just as described. Having a toilet and shower on site was great. We brought our own camping shower for hot water and it was easy to set up in the shower recess — but anyone more hardy than us would probably be totally fine using the shower as-is. The fridge was a real bonus for food storage, and the undercover area made cooking and meals easy — especially handy on a very wet day.
The camp area itself was lovely and well-kept, with short grass and views across the horse paddocks. We were also thoroughly entertained by watching the chickens wandering around during the day. The firepit got plenty of use too, and grabbing firewood from Sandy Point township was quick and simple.
Overall, we had a brilliant stay and are already looking forward to returning. Thanks Caitlin and hope to see you again soon!

Our visit to Sandy Point Farms was really nice. Caitlin and her family were very welcoming and supportive throughout the entire stay. My kids really enjoyed exploring their farm and we even saw a couple Koalas in the trees. The site was clean and protected from the wind. Lots of regional attractions were just a short drive away. A great option for those looking to camp and explore the South Gipsland coast.

Great camping spot. It is very private and we enjoyed the peace & quiet as we gathered around the camp fire.
A short walk to Sandy Point where we enjoyed some great coffee and a short drive to other amazing beaches. Caitlin is a fantastic host who communicates really well and made sure we knew exactly what to expect. The fridge is a very welcome little extra.

This place was amazing! We felt like we had our own little piece of paradise. We wanted to be on our own and be able to hear the ocean and this ticked both boxes.
It was nice waking up to the horses in the paddock next door too!
The toilet was clean and we couldn't have asked for anything else, it was just what we needed.
As we were leaving there was a koala in the tree and it climbed down and walked straight past my daughter.
If you are not thinking about camping at Caitlin's place then you are bananas!

We had a great stay at Caitlin's hipcamp. The location is very close to the local beach, general store and surrounding nature spots. There was some local wildlife and horses on the property which we loved waking up to. Caitlin was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
