Camp in a semi-sheltered paddock on our 25 acre family farm "Ennisvale", or in our orchard, on the outskirts of Sandy Point. You'll be on the doorstep of the most beautiful beaches, fishing, vibrant local towns and Wilson’s Prom. Wake up to birdsong, go to sleep to the sound of the waves, and spot a koala if you’re lucky. With a flush toilet, a cold bore water shower, an outdoor fridge (old but works fine!), power for charging devices, and a drinking water tank, you’ll be very comfortable as you explore the local area. We love it here and we know you will too. We have a couple of site options and you’ll have your own camp area - you may be the only campers or there may be others on the other side of the paddock or the orchard next door depending on time of year. You’ll have your own private space but will be close enough to the action to see the comings and goings of our multigenerational family as we potter around the farm, veggie garden and orchard. Say hi! Say g'day to the curious chooks and friendly dogs and enjoy the top-notch "equine views" from your site with three lovely horses in the nearby paddock. Sandy Point beaches and store 2 mins drive Shallow Inlet Marine and Coastal Park 5 mins drive Fish Creek 15 mins (cafes, galleries, pharmacy, general store, pub) Foster 20 mins (local IGA, Aherns grocer, butchers/fish shop, pub and take-away) Walkerville North beach 20 mins Wilsons Prom 25 mins to gate / 50 mins to Tidal River Fires are not permitted during summer - high fire danger. The farm camp is suitable for anything from 1-2 travellers or a larger group (contact us if you want to book a group >8). The main camp site has a large flat area and can accommodate most vehicles. The other site has some smaller flat areas to choose from. The grass can be a bit rough and expect some sticks and twigs and holes around. Horses sometimes graze the paddock and poo is picked up but if you're lucky you might find some remnants! No wild party groups, please! Please respect the peaceful surrounds, our family and neighbours, so please keep the noise down after 10pm. Sorry, but dogs are generally not allowed as we have dogs, free-ranging chickens, horses and cattle, and they may not mix well! The site is a large flat area in a lovely sheltered paddock with several spots to select to camp depending on whether you have a large set up or a little tent. You have some friendly horses over the fence in the next paddock. You have access to a flush toilet, cold shower, drinking water tap, a shelf in the fridge, and powerpoint for charging devices. There's an undercover area with a bench/table and a fridge that you may use where you are welcome to set up your camp kitchen if you don't want to do so at the camp site. Caitlin was a lovely, welcoming host . Beautiful property close to the town and beach. We were on the “hill top” site which is the most private of the three sites, it does look onto the main site & you have to walk through the main site to access amenities. Good distance between sites & lovely having the horse paddocks next to us & free roaming chickens - plenty of toddler entertainment! Thanks for having us :)

Nice area available, we were alone, so we choose the most protected area from the heavy winds. Caitlin very quick and kind on responding and accommodating requests

Such a beautiful place to stay for a few nights and Caitlin is a lovely host! Would choose this stay again - nice, quite and loved the garden with fresh fruits and all the animals.

What a beautiful slice of paradise Caitlin has! This was such an awesome stay, we loved feeding the horses & enjoying mulberries from Caitlins orchard! She also kindly lent us her double mattress as we under-calculated our ones size 🤣 Thanks so much, we really enjoyed ourselves x

Caitlin was an excellent host — friendly, welcoming and quick to help with any questions, but never intrusive. She struck that perfect balance of being available when needed, while giving us full space to settle in and enjoy our weekend. She even brought us fresh eggs, which we cooked over the campfire for breakfast — thank you so much! The location is fantastic: only a couple of minutes’ drive from the beach and township. While there’s a road that runs alongside the property, it’s a quiet one, and we weren’t disturbed by traffic at all. Facilities were just as described. Having a toilet and shower on site was great. We brought our own camping shower for hot water and it was easy to set up in the shower recess — but anyone more hardy than us would probably be totally fine using the shower as-is. The fridge was a real bonus for food storage, and the undercover area made cooking and meals easy — especially handy on a very wet day. The camp area itself was lovely and well-kept, with short grass and views across the horse paddocks. We were also thoroughly entertained by watching the chickens wandering around during the day. The firepit got plenty of use too, and grabbing firewood from Sandy Point township was quick and simple. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and are already looking forward to returning. Thanks Caitlin and hope to see you again soon!

A sheltered spot from the wind. Caitlin was friendly and welcoming. 30 minutes from wilsons promontory. A good spot if you don't want to camp at the Prom. Recommend fish Creek pub too

Our visit to Sandy Point Farms was really nice. Caitlin and her family were very welcoming and supportive throughout the entire stay. My kids really enjoyed exploring their farm and we even saw a couple Koalas in the trees. The site was clean and protected from the wind. Lots of regional attractions were just a short drive away. A great option for those looking to camp and explore the South Gipsland coast.

Camping at Sandy Point Farm was absolutely wonderful! Caitlin and her family are so welcoming, the area is simply beautiful, and we really loved all the animals around the site. Despite the rain and wind, we had a delightful time and would recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing time.

Great camping spot. It is very private and we enjoyed the peace & quiet as we gathered around the camp fire. A short walk to Sandy Point where we enjoyed some great coffee and a short drive to other amazing beaches. Caitlin is a fantastic host who communicates really well and made sure we knew exactly what to expect. The fridge is a very welcome little extra. We'll be back!

This place was amazing! We felt like we had our own little piece of paradise. We wanted to be on our own and be able to hear the ocean and this ticked both boxes. It was nice waking up to the horses in the paddock next door too! The toilet was clean and we couldn't have asked for anything else, it was just what we needed. As we were leaving there was a koala in the tree and it climbed down and walked straight past my daughter. If you are not thinking about camping at Caitlin's place then you are bananas!

We had a great stay at Caitlin's hipcamp. The location is very close to the local beach, general store and surrounding nature spots. There was some local wildlife and horses on the property which we loved waking up to. Caitlin was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

We had a fabulous stay here!! It was an easy and sheltered spot to access and set up, and Caitlin was the perfect host. Some of our highlights included watching the beautiful horses from every window of the van, with views of the cows and mountains in the distance. We absolutely loved the chickens that would come to hang out with us. Also spotted a couple of koalas. The best towns to visit were Fish Creek and Meeniyan. We also enjoyed Cape Liptrap, Walkerville Lime Kilns, Waratah Bay, Sandy Point Beach, and Shallow Inlet.

What a lovely time we had staying at Sandy Point. Caitlin was so welcoming, perfect balance between connecting but giving us our privacy. All the home comforts, flat ground for our tents, drinking water, flushing toilet and shower. Great location for exploring Wilson’s Prom and surroundings. I will DEFINITELY be back.

Lovely quiet spot that was easy to get to. Caitlin was a terrific communicator, came to greet us and check in and make the stay as nice as possible. Nice waking up to three horsey friends in the next paddock over!

This was my first solo swag camping experience and Caitlin’s place was perfect for it. Such beautiful and peaceful surrounds, she met me on arrival and was really welcoming and helpful, checking in with me that the fridge and water/shower were working ok. Great access point to Wilson’s Prom. I felt safe and enjoyed it so much I stayed longer than planned.

Beautiful property hosted by beautiful people! A true gem of a spot in the farmland by the beach, and was a short drive to all the best hikes at Wilson’s Prom. Caitlin and Daves went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and sorted and were the perfect hosts, couldn’t recommend more.

Caitlin and Daves property is absolutely stunning! With horses greeting you over the fence to chickens running in between your legs and all the amenities you could ask for, their land is a haven for an easy going camping trip. There's a fire pit with logs surrounding it for cooking and late-night banter, plenty of room for your tents, and shade for the morning sun. Sandy Point beach is 2 minutes away where we hired surf boards and explored the dunes, and day trips to the Promontory are a piece of cake. They gave us our personal space but also came up to chat and say hi, making sure we were comfortable every now and again. I couldn't recommend staying there more!
