Situated in rural Harrowsmith, our nearly 200 year old renovated barn sits on almost 30 acres of grassland. We have plenty of camping space and firepits, and will be adding more bunkie cabins in the future. Brewery taproom opening late Summer 2025 with public bathrooms, retail shop and full restaurant with patios on site. Camping areas are spread across the 25 acres. Some campsites may have neighbours and share a communal firepit area. We are totally pet friendly, but must be leashed

Welcome to the Harrowsmith Brewing Co. Hipcamp Space! This is an ideal space for a retreat getaway out in the countryside. There is a very large communal firepit with plenty of room for seating. There is enough space for up to 8 tents (If you like your neighbours!) and bathrooms available at the main barn. While we cannot yet serve beer to Hipcampers from the barn, the venue space and bathrooms are free to use while you are staying with us as long as the venue space is not in use for events.

Site is just as described. Big quiet land. Restrooms are clean and lots of shelter from the rain. We could fill up our water bottles.

The people that welcomed us was nice. But the brewery was closed and didn’t looked finished. Also, there was a lot of junk where the tent camp sites were. We ended up going back to town to enjoy our evening and found another spot to sleep.

What a fantastic place. Hospitality was 10/10, felt like staying at a friends place! Camping area was just what I was looking for and it is pet friendly! Winston loved exploring the grounds and was welcomed by everyone at Harrowsmith Brewing! We will be back for sure!

Great stay! The property is gorgeous, wide open, and rugged. Rustic and full of history, the barn turned brewery is truly a work of art. The owners were attentive and helpful, offering fresh water for our dogs and endless space to run around. The highlight was plenty of friendly conversation and recommendations for the area. They also handed us a few of their brews we took on our hike in Frontenac, since it's only minutes away. Frosty Mugginz was definitely our favorite. We’ll for sure be back for the scenery and beer.

I was unhappy because the microbrewery wasn’t open. It was not easy to know where to Park our RV. We were supposed to have a firepit with Wood included. But No.

Nice piece of property…lots of room for the dogs. We simply needed a place to park overnight while competing at a dog agility competition during the day. It was great having access to real washroom. The restaurant and bar were not open during our stay and that should be communicated properly in the description… but we would definitely stay again if needed.

It was a safe place to stay the night with easy to access toilet with running water! The brewery was not open at the time of my stay so I had the place all to myself and Craig gave me the option to pick my spot. And he left the lights on in the brewery for me which was very considerate. There is construction on the outside area of the brewery towards the outdoor restrooms. The restroom is stocked with toilet paper and soap but no hand drying station or towels. The site is right off countryside road with homes dispersed along the way. The campsite is an open field and there are not any privacy trees from the road. Beautiful sunrise and stargazing is incredible! It was reasonable road noise and I slept well.

Camping on Matt’s land was a great experience. They have a beautiful property with lots of space. Matt and his family were very nice and welcoming. I will definitely go back. Once their brewery is open for the public I want to ho back to enjoy that experience as well 😊

We had a great time. Stargazing galore. D easy setup. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. We froze our butts overnight, bundle up folks.

What a great long weekend at Harrowsmith! Craig was so welcoming. He made us feel like old friends and ensured we felt right at home. RV site is large and the barn converted into a bar/restaurant was very cool! Can't wait to stop by next year when everything is open.

Incredible view of the sky, I saw the sun setting well into the midnight hour. Be sure to let Matt and Craig know that you will be stargazing :)) this is a perfect spot to do so

I enjoyed my night there. This is a very cute place. The host was welcoming. I had a very big spot to put my tent. The only small thing is that a random dog came and I am afraid of big dogs aha🙈 i recommend this camp site because It is very convenient and no one disturbs you and you have a lot of space!!

I love staying at Matt's land. Super responsive to message. He brang us a fire pit on our spot because there were no other camper. Would definitely recommand.

Great night with genuine hosts excited to share space, beers and experience building out the barn/brewery. Easily accessible restrooms adjacent to the main barn. We car camped (but there are spots for tents). Really excited we stopped in for a memorable experience. Once they are fully open, don’t be surprised for live music and a festive crowd.

Sweet spot to stay for the night while travelling on the Toronto - Montreal corridor! Friendly host that went out of his way for our short stay. Space for the kids to run around, kick a ball and seek adventures around the barn after a day of driving. The washrooms were clean and kept open. The host even brought a picnic table for us. We'll stop over here again when travelling on this route!

We had a great time at harrowsmith brewing co. We met Matt when we arrived, he showed us his barn/brewery and our campsite, and then we had a great time in the evening talking with him and his dad with a good beer they brewed. Camp site are nice with a lot of space and they are isolated from the barn so you can have your privacy. I will definitely go back if i'm around this area.
