We were the first people to live on this land and have built everything you see since 2017. Enjoy 20 beautiful acres just 5 minutes out of Vernon. Close proximity to Kal Lake, Swan Lake and Lake Okanagan. Fantastic hiking trails, biking trails, and watersports close by. We have 3 different to choose from listings: 1 serviced site, 3 dispersed non serviced sites, and 1 air-conditioned Yurt with two single beds. Potable water available. Full washrooms and showers are available. . Campfires permitted (unless fireban is in effect). Free Wifi. Experience the famous Shuswap River "float" which is only a 5 minute walk to the Baxter bridge boat launch, park and community hall. The Ashton Creek convenience store and gas station has all your basic camping needs including ATV gas and propane (also a 5 minute walk). Access to hiking trails including a unique water fall nearby. Mabel Lake Resort, boat launch and Golf Club is a short 20 minute drive. Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks. Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area where well-behaved dogs can run off leash. We have one RV site with septic, water and 15 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and numerous U-pick tent sites with water nearby and porta potty.

We recently bought this charmingly rustic old farm property and are in the exciting process of bringing it back to life. It has a lovely forest area, alongside sprawling fields that are dotted with beautiful wildflowers throughout Spring and Summer. Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled! We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life. Summer in the Okanagan. Come and enjoy the scenery, fresh peaches, cherries, watermelons, veggies and other locally grown delights when in season. Our campground features include: Four forested sites with fire pits and picnic tables. Fires not permitted during fire bans. Our location tends to be 6°-10° cooler than in Kelowna, which is a welcome treat on those warm summer days. There is also, almost always a breeze.
