Located on a 230 acre estate, we have something for everyone including a charming Rustic Cabin recycled from the original homestead from 1890! This is a great base camp to explore the beautiful Coffs Coast with many attractions, and a short 10 minute drive to the famous Moonee Beach, Emerald Beach and Moonee Market which has a large Coles and Aldi, as well as specialty shops, cafe, restaurants and the family friendly Moonee Beach Tavern. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, or any RV, 2WD's, tents, camper trailers and 4WD's with excellent all weather access straight off the main sealed road👍🏼 Lovely shady sites as well as plenty of open sunny pasture for your solar with use of shared port-a-loo in main camping paddock. You may also camp in the dam paddock (when available) if you have a 4WD however, you will need to be completely self sufficient with your own porta potty. Firewood is available to be purchased from reception. *DUE TO FIRE ANT OUTBREAK IN QLD AND NSW, BRING YOUR OWN (BYO) FIREWOOD IS NOT PERMITTED* Hand feed the farm animals or enjoy hours of bush walking or perhaps have a picnic by the dam overlooking the horses grazing or discover our Secret Garden! Suitable for large groups such as 4WDs, family gatherings, horse riders, weddings and school groups. Plenty of space and privacy. PLEASE NOTE: - CHECK IN CLOSES AT 8PM - Potable water is limited due to weather conditions (drought), and the farm being on tank water. Please fill your vans or tanks BEFORE you arrive. - We are a campground, NOT a 4WD park. 4WDs or motorbikes are NOT to be ridden on the property. Motorbikes need to be registered to ride in the State Forest. - Due to repeated incidents involving our poultry, dogs are no longer allowed. - Our moderate cancellation policy requires a cancellation of 72 hours ahead of check in time for a refund. **IMPORTANT INFORMATION** Cracknback Campground is situated almost half way between Kempsey and Armidale shires. They are each responsible for this road. The boundary between the two shires is at Blackbird Flat - which is 12 km from us towards Kempsey. The Armidale Shire section of road is officially closed (though not policed). We are obliged to pass on this information as it must be your decision whether to drive on Armidale Shire Road. There are also old signs still up saying road closed/landslip/turn around etc. Our working farm is located between Kempsey and Armidale at Lower Creek in mid-north NSW. We have grassy campsites right on the beautiful Macleay River, which is famous for Bass fishing, kayaking and swimming. *When you come here, our home is your home. Please respect the pristine wilderness and leave no trace. Clean up your camp and take your rubbish home. * Heaps of flat ground for kids to ride bikes * Watch tortoises and fish in the river * Beautiful mountain ranges and and such an open sky you can see the Milky Way * 30 roomy sites, flushing toilets, hot showers * We are dog friendly...if your dog is friendly. Campsites are not allocated, you can choose wherever you would like to set up. We have 60 acres with the Blicks river running along the bottom end of the property. (our home is at the opposite end of the acreage so you will have your own space). We invite you to come and enjoy our property, groups and families welcome. We are situated in Nymboida next to the Nymboida River, looking down the valley, surrounded by farmland and bush with very peaceful gardens on the property. There are many things to do in the river, from fishing to kayaking. We have two kayaks and a canoe that people can borrow and take down to the river, where you'll also find several large swimming holes and some nice walking trails along the river and in the reserve. We have a wonderful amount of bird life on the property. At last count we've identified approximately 30 different bird species, so it's a great place for those interested in nature and birds. We have several different areas to set up a tent or caravan/camper trailer, sit and read or cook a BBQ, or just relax and enjoy the views. We provide access to our outdoor kitchen area, and also have a recreational area set up in the shed for Hipcampers to relax in, socialise, and find shelter should they need.

Benefields Rose Farm

This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water. **Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors. There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace. Please note - unless otherwise approved by host , we allow only 1 caravan or camper or tent or motorhome per site. Dog friendly. Fires are permitted if restrictions are not in place AND MUST be contained in a brazier or portable firepit. Please do not light fires directly on the ground/grass.
