Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded , private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. Camping options include river side camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Free firewood and fire pit set up for the first night. Firewood $20/ night after that (CASH ONLY PLEASE), except when camping at Chinamans Valley where you collect your own free firewood for each night. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

Maha Farm is a small family run macadamia farm that is peaceful and secluded. We are only about 10 - 15mins off the highway, far enough to not hear it. All camp sites are just off the entrance way and are on a ridge making for great views. We are 10mins from the nearest beach. Cafes, fuel and shopping centres are within 10 to 20 mins drive. Bellingen and Coffs Harbour are easily accessed via major roads and are approx 30mins away The property is surrounded by natural bush and backs onto a state forest. Wildlife abound including a resident family of wallabies, birds (we have counted about 7 rare/threatened species), frogs and many more. You are guaranteed to feel relaxed and in touch with nature. That said, it is a working farm and there may be noisy work taking place. We are in the process of transitioning to certified organic. Under Cover Area: All campers have access to a large undercover area (Wallabies Rest) where there is a picnic table, fire place and preparation bench, unless booked by other campers. Fires: Small fires are welcome, just make a spot where you see fit with the fire rings provided. Wood can be collected from the bush areas or purchased from the wood shed. Water: A rain water tank is available to campers for washing up etc Free Extras: Campers are welcome to walk down to the dam to the tyre swing and back. Campers can pick a small bucket worth of macadamias (depending on the season). A nut cracker is provided as a courtesy (usually kept at Wallabies Rest) Purchased Extras: Cracked nuts. Help on the Farm: There are always jobs to do, let us know if you would like to help out in exchange for staying. Mobile Coverage: There is mobile coverage near by but there is not much coverage at the property, just enough to send a text if you re in the right spot and have the right provider, keep an eye on how many bars you have on your way in and where the last place is you have coverage in-case you need it. Things Near-By Lots of beaches, National Parks, Urunga Lido, Nambucca V-Wall, shopping centres, cafes, fuel. Further afield is Coffs Harbour Big Banana, Bellingen, Waterfalls at Dorrigo. Directions: 99% of the time the GPS maps on your phone work well but here are directions just in case... Don’t take Avocado Road. Stay on the main roads. The only dirt is at the end of morningside drive for about 100m, veer left. All roads to the farm are easily accessible and level for 2WD. For larger rigs though it is tight to turn around onsite.

100 acre farm of mixed native bush and orchard plantings, with a mixture of secluded camp areas for campers with their own amenities and sites with facilities. The Woodland Lakeside campsite has a single compost toilet, and the Woodland Ridgetop sites share a camp kitchen with compost toilets and hot showers. We have two beautiful dams that are great for kayaking and swimming, and creek frontage where you can fish. Beautiful views of Yarrahapinni Mountain to the east and hills out to the west. There are 40 acres of bushland to go walkabout. Geese and ducks free range the property and feeding time visits can be arranged. We are just 1.5km of single track gravel road to the Pacific Highway with good access for all types of vehicles. There is a choice of private campsites either by the dam or the creek with no other campers in sight! We also have a multi site area at the Woodland Ridgetop with a camp kitchen, compost toilets and showers. This will be available to be booked as a large group area or as 3 individual sites. Later in 2024 we will also have beautiful glamping bell tent sites available. Drinking water (tank water) is available from an outdoor tap at the farmhouse, as long as we have had sufficient rainfall. Please check in advance if you require water. Campers MUST have their own self contained amenities for the Creek Camp, and the 2 Parking Sites, and leave no trace. There is a toilet dump point for chemical toilets in Macksville, 10 mins away. All he sites are dog friendly as long as all dog poo is cleared up. 20 mins to Scotts Head and Grassy Head beaches and Yarrahapinni National Park. State Forest on the doorstep great for mountain bikes, and with motorbike trails heading out to the west. The farm is 5 minutes from the Eungai Buffallo Farm cafe. There is also farm produce available for sale - fresh eggs for breakfast!

Located in Tyringham, just 25 minutes West of Dorrigo we have 2 main campsites on our working beef cattle property. Site 1 - The riverside camp is accessible by 4WD only. ***mud tyres/ winches are not needed unless the conditions are really poor***. Site 2 - Our hilltop site is accessible with most vehicles and in most conditions. Firewood is included and will be dropped off at the campsite. Site 1 - Our riverside sites offer a large grass field with river frontage in a totally off grid location. Campers will have the river flat location all to themselves. The farm itself has some lovely bushwalking trails and there are some fishing spots along the river. Relax around your campfire in the evenings. Campers wishing to book the riverside must be self-sufficient as there are no facilities at this site. Campers must take their rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome. Site 2 - Our hilltop campsite is easy to access and has great views over the local valley. It is very close to our on-farm cabin and use of the amenities block at our cabin can be arranged with prior notice. Things to do around Tyringham We are just 25 odd minutes from Dorrigo where you can find the Dorrgio National Park which is full of lovely rainforest walks, beautiful scenery, and stunning waterfalls. Dangar Falls is a popular stopping point for photography lovers and another great area to swim/ explore. We are also 20 minutes from Ebor. Another great spot for fishing. Mainly trout. My property consists of 100 acres with two rivers joining in the property with at least 1 km of river frontage. We are located in the foothills of the Nambucca valley. Pristine beaches are 20 minutes away, mountains and four-wheel drive tracks are a quick 20 minutes the other way. From here it's 15 minutes to Bellingen, 25 minutes to the famous Pub With No Beer and 5 minutes to the historic "verandah posts" town of Bowraville. Here you will find beautiful bird watching, animals and wildlife. Park your car or set up your caravan next to the river where you will wake up to amazing views. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings. ​We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, a picnic table and rubbish facilities. We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite and the river but 2WDs are ok. Your pet is welcome to camp with you.

All sites are generally level and grassed. Communal fire pits and potable water on-site. All campers must be self contained ( rubbish, toilet, grey water). Use of boat ramp, jetty and kayaks available from farm house. Due to our coastal location camp may close in extended periods of wet weather. This is a dog friendly campground inviting self contained campers to enjoy our beautiful property. Raised individual fire pits are allowed ( no fires on the ground)

Do you like private river swimming? Our property is in Dundurrabin which is inland from Coffs Harbour. Perfect for those seeking a spot 'off the beaten track.' You will need 4WD car, caravan/camper. There is no 2WD access. 4WD only. We offer beautiful river camping. Enjoy the company of platypus, turtles extensive bird life, reptiles, native flora and fauna. Spend your time swimming, river exploring & bush walking - all in total privacy. There is a pit toilet but you're welcome to bring your own amenities. Pets are welcome. Campsites are not allocated, you can choose wherever you would like to set up. We have 60 acres with the Blicks river running along the bottom end of the property. (our home is at the opposite end of the acreage so you will have your own space). We invite you to come and enjoy our property, groups and families welcome. Our only requirement is that you respect the river and the environment - no washing in the river (shampoo, dishwashing liquid etc). Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions!

A short two minute drive to the beautiful Blue Hole Picnic Area and Gara Gorge offers swimming, picnic seating, BBQ and bush walking in a scenic bush setting. Armidale is home too many gorges and national parks like no other region. Dangars falls is a stunning waterfall with a picnic area. This rural property suits self sufficient campers only with own drinking water and shower/toilet amenities. All campers must take their rubbish with them leaving no trace - no bins provided. Take your time to relax by a fire and enjoy the serenity! The "Reynella" Hut is now available to stay in. This well appointed, fully renovated hut is a studio with a queen bed, lounge area, tv, kitchen, bathroom/laundry, front deck with a bbq and views to die for!! This provides all the luxuries with a rustic charm embracing a peaceful getaway with a magnificent outlook.
