We just opened a coffee trailer at the entrance of the property - serving premium Barefoot brew (local coffee roaster) coffee every morning 6am to 1 pm.
Just 8 km from Byron Bay - 10 minutes drive along a scenic country road, with gentle hills around and magical views. Near all the Byron incredible activities, such as great restaurants, waterfalls, beaches. Well positioned between the beaches of Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. Incredible privacy and quiet.
There are goats (with babies) in a paddock next to Site 2, and a horse paddock with 7 horses in front of the tent only sites (7 to 10).
We do have a water tap though to fill your tanks and a couple of electric plugs to charge your essentials (check the small old shed close to Site 1).
We have 10 different sites, 6 for caravan / RVs/ tents and 4 for tents only (with access only with 4WD) in two different spots of the property - for a total of 20 guests max.
It is a former cattle farm that is being currently reforested to the original Big Scrub rainforest. The proceeds from Hipcamp are used to reforest the land.
PLEASE make sure to take your garbage away and remember the campsites are for fully contained campers only (no toilets on site). You NEED to be fully contained to stay in the property.
You can enjoy walking around and explore the magic sunsets of the Byron Hinterland. there are a fee billabong/ creeks, with the biggest one next to site 7/ 10 (there is a trail from there).

Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee.
Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp.
Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent.
Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east.
Campers & Day Trippers Rules:
The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple
guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park.
By using this park you agree to the following rules.
All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed
limit.
Fires must be extinguished prior to departure.
Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all
rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so
the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish.
It must be taken with you!
The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in
fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the
creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem!
Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set
up on top of other campers.
Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of
2pm to 6pm.
Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all
times.
No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users.
No antisocial behavior.
No camping on creek banks.
No playing around toilet block area.
No livestock to be kept on the park.
No cutting down trees.
No person to travel in the load area of vehicles.
No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between
your campsite and the road.
No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones
or fireworks allowed in the park.
No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek.
No washing dishes or clothing in creek.
No hitting of Golf balls.
No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok).
No swings to be tied to trees.
Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance
will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for
trespassing.
Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use
of the park.

Eltham Station Byron Hinterland

Eltham Station Campground
is a quiet campground on the Wilson River near the hip village of Eltham, just down the road from Bangalow, a few k's from Clunes and 35kms from Byron Bay. The camp sites are private and have easy access for 2WD vehicles or 4WD.
Eltham Station has 7 all weather campsites along a private lagoon. The sites have gravel pads and grass to set up on, plus campfire spots laid out (firewood available) a clearly marked road in and are also surrounded by large trees to provide plenty of shade.
There are plenty of birds, frogs, water dragons, platypus (if you are quiet), wallabies and other wildlife around the property and it is a beautiful and peaceful location to set up camp for caravans, motorhomes, swags, tents or vans. Exclusive use of the whole campground for a large group is available on request.
We are only 2kms from the village of Eltham and the famous Eltham Pub which is a historic building that often has live music and is a great spot for a meal. It often books out so during busy periods we recommend you book ahead on www.elthampub.com.au
Also we are only a 20 minute drive to the beach (recommend Shelly Beach at Ballina with a great cafe called Shelly Beach cafe for breaky or lunch) and are close to the many other beautiful attractions that this area is known for.
Children under 6 stay free but hosts must be notified of the total number of people in your group. Each site holds a maximum of 6 guests in total.
Campfires are permitted in the rings provided and please ensure you set up in the spot allocated to you especially in busy times. All campers must abide by any fire or other government restrictions. Well behaved pets are welcome but please be aware this campsite is on a working farm with cattle, potty calves, horses, a few of our own dogs. The livestock are behind fences or over the river so will not be on your site.

Your group will be the sole visitors and there is a hot private outdoor shower, your own flushing toilet, a firepit, firewood available, free kindling provided, and a table and benches. There is a recycling and garbage bin provided. Please note our rates are very competitive and cover 4 visitors in our base rate. You are welcome to walk around the 110 acre working cattle farm and see the cows munching, or walk through the fingerlimes - which are a fruit indigenous to this area, or you can just kick back and relax, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer. The campsite is easily accessible from the road, and is a convenient distance to Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins). These towns offer great dining, local market, and retail experiences, along with a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are many local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.
The campsite has views across the farm to the distant lighthouse which shines out at night. Your group are the sole visitors and we have had a lot of feedback from guests appreciative of the privacy and convenience this affords them. This farm has been a dairy then beef cattle farm, thus unfortunately it has been mostly cleared, but we are slowly regenerating native species with our cherished hope to continue this in the coming years.

Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet is a highly active Permaculture demonstration site and has been used to teach permaculture to countless international and local students for the past 20 years. It is at the forefront of Permaculture Design, displaying many permaculture principles, and produces an abundance of food and various yields from within its living environment.
Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet is a family friendly farm, situated on a sixty six acre (27 hectares) property that fronts Terania Creek opposite the village of The Channon, Northern NSW. The property is completely off-grid and contains 800m of creek frontage with fishing spots, a swimming hole for campers, and abundant wildlife ideal for bird watchers. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet has recently become a community of 8 private residences that share this beautiful property. We kindly ask that campers respect the residents’ privacy, however if you spot them on the common grounds, they are always up for a friendly chat.
CAMPSITE
The campsite is situated on the communal grounds at the heart of Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet on flat lawn surrounded by bamboo and the sounds of the rainforest. We also have 10 raised camping shelters on offer, suitable for small tents for 1-2 people. Campers have close access to bathrooms built from eco-friendly shipping containers with composting toilets and warm showers; a fire pit, a kitchen garden to share from, an education/function center (available for hire), a common sheltered area to relax with wifi, and an equipped shared kitchen.
OTHER NOTES
We strictly have a no drug and alcohol policy. Due to our policy and customs, we kindly ask that no pork products enter the property, and that reasonably modest clothing is worn (shoulders down to knees covered is fine) including around the swimming hole.
Please note this is not the place for partying, but a place for connecting with nature and nurturing wellbeing.
We kindly ask that all rubbish is taken off the premise as there are no bins.
Children 7 years and under stay free.

We highly recommend visiting popular The Channon Markets on 2nd Sunday of each month for live music, entertainment, food and many stalls of handmade goodies at the Showgrounds for a family friendly day out!
