If you are in need of a few essentials, we are also handy to Coles, Bunnings, Chemist Warehouse and a Bottle shop. They are all within a 5-minute drive south on the Bruce Highway. Our little piece of paradise is 50 acres of paddock and bushland set in the Glass House Mountains, halfway between Brisbane and Noosa. Property is close to lots of walking tracks and mountains to hike in the area and we are only 5ish mins drive from the town centres of Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. We are surrounded by pineapple farms and honest boxes of limes, pineapples and avocados are spotted along the nearby streets. Our little hobby farm is perfect for a city break! Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and wallabies passing through. There is an old macadamia orchid and we are currently in the process of building a new chicken coop, so will hopefully have hens and eggs soon! Numerous damns and creeks run through the property but they have not been cleared of weeds for swimming. Clyde is our resident horse who will likely come visit you at your campsite. He is the sweetest boy and loves nothing more than a carrot and a gentle pat. He is an old boy now so not suited for riding but is a wonderful companion! There are no facilities here so all campers will need to be self sufficient with a camping toilet. It is preferred that campers bring their own water but bore water can be supplied if you run out (not the ideal for drinking). I live in the main house so am available for any emergencies but will give you your privacy! Dogs are welcome as long as they do not chase off the wildlife and are calm around the horse. I have a dog at the house so must also be dog friendly or else kept on lead! Campfires are allowed in designated fire pit dependant on fire rating.

They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

Beautiful campsite with a small lake and lovely flowers. Andrew is very nice and helpful with all the information provided. The toilets and shower were very clean. The location is convenient and while being just off a quiet road, at the campsite you feel in the middle of nowhere it is so quiet and peaceful with lovely bird sounds.

We absolutely loved this beautiful hidden gem in Caboolture. The host was super friendly and welcoming, and the area was very well maintained, perfect for pitching our tent. The amenities were clean, fresh, and well looked after. We would 100% recommend staying here and would happily return!

We absolutely loved staying at this site and had a great weekend. The campsite was peaceful, private and we had the pleasure of Clyde the resident horse dropping by from time to time to come and say hello. This hidden escape is the perfect mini-farm stay for families with young kids. We loved feeling like we were at home surrounded by chickens and horses. The host family were accommodating and friendly, allowing us to set up while our kids bonded. Instructions to the camp were clear and there was plenty of space for our caravan. This was our first hipcamp experience and we are so glad we chose this space to break the ice.

The spot had beautiful views of the surrounding plantation fields and glimpses of the glasshouse mountaintop. It has a convenient playground equipment for the kids to enjoy hours on while you setup camp and facilities that may surprise you that’s included for the price you pay for the site. Host is amazing and was there for anything you needed for your stay to be enjoyable

The Hosts , Wayne and Kaye are wonderful. This is a secure site , lots of space and yet a short walk or drive into Landsborough for all your needs . Located at the doorstep to the sunshine coast for easy access to everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer Would definitely recommend this hipcamp with a range of powered and unpowered sites i’ll be back for sure

This a well maintained camp ground, with lovely views and fantastic water activity free to use that the kids loved. Slip and slide is a massive hit, just bring your own fuel to run the pum. Definitely will be back.

We only stayed one night, but it was well worth it — definitely a place we’d love to return to for at least 2–3 nights. The outlook across the lake was beautiful. The whole family, adults included, loved the waterslide and rope swing at the small dam. We wish we’d had more time to explore the big lake as well. There was lots of birdlife and turtles around. Campsite well spaced from others and spacious enough to spread out.

1 night at Rocky Creek Grasslands

Reece’s campsites are huge only limiting to 3 sites, which is a massive bonus, the grass mowed surrounded by trees but easy to find solar if that is a priority. Such a quiet piece of land to camp up. Easy to find with Reece’s directions on Hipcamp. Friendly baby goats, cows & a tiny horse that can be as interactive as you would like or Reece is able to contain them in another paddock. This would be definitely be a place we would stay again.
