On-site amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, fully equipped camp kitchen with a large undercover area (perfect for large groups or private functions), and a laundry. We are a dog-friendly park so the whole family is welcome. Dogs need to be controlled at all times and cleaned up after. No aggressive dogs please. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only and may be subject to fire bans. Firewood and ice are available for purchase (cash preferred). Recycling bins are provided, otherwise campers are required to take their rubbish with them. Wi-Fi and Telstra coverage are available. Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away. Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd. Check in is strictly between 2 - 5pm. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek is a 600-acre natural oasis. Tucked away in a tranquil, secluded valley, this hidden gem is surrounded by Long Creek to the south and Findon Creek to the west, while the northern edge extends to the Dedicated Wilderness of the Border Ranges National Park. This much-loved family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with a bio-diverse planting of native trees and a joinery workshop crafting designer furniture. Cabin at Valley's End is our flagship accommodation at Figtree Farm. Having 3-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin has flat ground on 2 sides which allows for additional campers (up to 20 people). In wet weather, 2WD and AWD may need to park a short distance downhill from the cabin. In addition we offer 3 creek-side camp sites which have plenty of room for large groups; they are all situated on well drained, grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites. Also in wet conditions they are not suitable for large caravans (in excess of 21 feet) unless you have some serious towing power (Landrover or RAM, for example). Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional call of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.

Our sunrise campground has 15 large sites, and Ironbark has 9 sites (for group bookings). The property is fully fenced, with spectacular views of Lost World and Lamington National Park. Please note: we DO NOT have $50 rooms! Please note we do not have restaurant on site, so please bring all your food and water with you. If you are camping please ensure you bring all your equipment. We can do up a BBQ packs, cheeseboards, Breakfast - please ask us for pricing. The site is semi-off-grid, with two toilets and two showers. It’s a short walk to the Albert River for swimming, fishing, or searching for crystals. There is a tennis court and playground for children. From our sites, you can see and hear a variety of animals: mini cows, mini donkeys, mini goats, lots of sheep, as well as our camels and alpacas — all very friendly and waiting for a feed and a pat. We have a walking track to the top of the property with breathtaking views of the valley. At night, enjoy stargazing and see the Milky Way like never before. There is a small shop on-site in case you need firewood, drinks, sweet treats or a barista coffee. We can also supply cheese boards and picnic lunches. (Notice of one week must be given)

Our campground is on my family’s dairy farm that has been in the family since 1904. I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows. The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning. We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities. Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water. We are pleased to provide a gravelled campfire area along with a gorgeous outdoor setting that seats 8. Our campground provides a unique private camping opportunity. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Perfect for a relaxing getaway that brings you close to nature and connecting with friends. As we are a working farm, unfortunately, we cannot allow pets.

We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. The swimming dam is not chlorinated and acts as habitat for numerous frog species. Please don't expect clear blue water as some algae is a natural part of the ecosystem. A wood fired sauna can be used with assistance from the owner and a fee to cover time and wood to get it going. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We have old macadamia and pecan trees. Goats, sheep, cows and a miniature pony graze on our paddocks. At times we can offer eggs from our chickens and produce from the garden. The property is located just 5 minutes drive to the town of Nimbin, The perfect place to rest a while, to relax, rejuvenate and let Mother Nature work her charms. Camp amongst the trees, enjoying the dappled sunlight. Go for a walk along the creek and splash around. Our campsite offers good access for all types of vehicles. We area dog friendly. Weekend Trip to Warning View Campground

I love the experience! We stayed at Louis, the van and it's very comfy... Perfect for a family or friends gathering where you have a base with kitchen, toilet and hot water. I was very impressed with the kitchen utensils. It's a wonderful spot right by the creek and pretty private as well. The swimming hole had a beautiful bluey water.

3 nights at Trickling Waters Retreat

We had an amazing time at Trickling Waters! Truely private and tucketed away into nature right beside the running creek. Everything you could need was provided making our stay so comfortable! The weather wasn't on our side for our stay but the tent was so cosy that it was never an issue, we just bundled up on the deck and in the tent listening to the rain and creek. We will be back!

What an amazing place! So tranquil and peaceful, if you want to fully relax and be at one with nature this is the place. My only regret was that I didn’t book further in advance so I could enjoy for 2 nights and make sure you get there earlier so you can enjoy the sunset 🙌🏼

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Trickling Waters in a beautiful glamping tent nestled right alongside Commissioners Creek. This is a truly private and tucked-away gem in the Mount Commissioners Creek area of the Mount Warning region, surrounded by lush nature that makes you feel miles from anywhere. The gentle, tranquil sound of the creek was soothing and created the perfect backdrop for unwinding and relaxing after busy days exploring the region. Everything felt peaceful, secluded, and restorative — the perfect spot for a family escape or a quiet recharge in nature.

Weekend Trip to Crystal Creek Rainforest Treehouse

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, all the surroundings are just amazing and the cabin is so cozy and definitely a perfect place to stay. We managed to get the fire going even though weather was a little wet. Twigs, pinecones and firewood was in a crate for us on arrival as well as fire starters, definitely made the process lots easier. The bath is so unreal and the bubble bath and salt that was there for us smelt divine!! The cabin remained warm the whole stay thanks to a mini heater we were provided with. So so accommodating and the stay felt even more magical because of it. The scenery is just beautiful, as well as the greenery growing around and on the cabin and the decor surrounding. Such a perfect stay, couldn’t recommend more!!!!

Stunning place just like the photos. Constant sound of the river which we loved, made for deep and restful sleeps. Fires under starry skies, private and quiet, even gets the afternoon sun in winter. Owner’s friendly and helpful, wood on hand to purchase, we had an axe which was useful for kindling but had forgotten paper, so appreciated them giving us firestarters. Great area to explore, walks etc. loved it!

Weekend Trip to Larapinta

Where do I begin!! Woody fulfilled everything! Scenery was amazing, from a sunset to raining mornings, kangaroos and cows/horses! Easy to navigate, not too far from local shops (Beaudesert), and lots of exploring to do left of larapinta’s driveway up towards Christmas creek! We also met our host Ashley, an amazing person who was good for a chat and gave us good tips and pointers if we wished to do some scenic driving within their acreage. Heater inside kept everything cosy and outdoor heated shower gave us an amazing “off grid” experience. 10/10 reccomend!

Weekend Trip to Illinbah Glamping off grid .

Amazing! Words can't describe. We had a perfect night with full moon. It was so peaceful with the flowing creek. A great night away without the kids, but we weren't alone for long- we had a few cheeky visitors stop by, during the afternoon and at night. Donkeys, horses, beautiful birds and hilariously 2 camels next door. The tent was so comfy but downfall for me was none of the pretty lights inside were working 😔 And none of the spare batteries worked. Also some outside lights were water clogged. We fixed the main ones luckily, otherwise I would've been so disappointed. It was so pretty at night plus the fire. Loved the stay and rate it a solid 4.9.

Did a circuit drive to Woodenbong and onwards, up to lookout. Missed turn off to falls. Kyogle info place advised. Lovely drive. View up top not that great. About a 3 hr circuit. Hoped to get a coffee along the way. Only place in Woodenbong is a cafe in the garage. We didn’t stop but later told it was good.

Grassy spacious campsites in rural setting

Grassy, spacious campsites by the creek with friendly hosts and resident dogs. Clean amenities block and spacious camp kitchen with everything you need. Kyogle is a short drive away with a large IGA and the border ranges national park walks are also very nearby, and were a highlight. We loved this campground 👍👍

Worth a look, the roads are a bit uneven, so make sure you have a suitable vehicle. The views are amazing and there is a lot to check out even if you don't plan anything. Would highly recommend.
