Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. 'The Cottage' is open plan with loft style accommodation with 2 x queen beds, 2 x KS and 2 x floor mattresses. It has a lounge room area with TV, small kitchenette and bathroom. All linen is provided. 'The Shed' is also open style accommodation with 3 x double beds and 1 x KS. It also has a bathroom with laundry, Kitchenette, the kids pool table and a ping pong table. All bed linen for this area is stored in a tub in the shed and beds can be made up by guests as needed. Just bring towels! Making memories is what we are about whether that be fishing, swimming, kayaking, watching the races in the bar over a game of pool or just sitting by the fire with your favorite tunes to relax and unwind. Some guests may be lucky enough spot a platypus or even witness the mustering team in action from a distance. For those adventure lovers out there, who enjoy canoeing or kayaking, you may want to take advantage of being on section one of 'The Longest Whitewater Trail in Australia'. Our two eco-friendly domes sit on a 120 acre property providing a unique experience with a sense of space that helps you disengage from the everyday. Access to water and solar power on site. There are 2 domes available for up to 6 guests, with each dome including its own bathroom. Each dome has a queen bed and a king single. There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ. Important information: Linen not provided. In each dome there is a queen and king single bed. All linen needs to be bought with you. Pillows, towels, doona, bed linen & towels. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The dome tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this. This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water. There are 2 portable fans inside the domes for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the small dome has a rooftop curtain that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the domes cooler. Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. If your car is not suitable for gravel inclines park at the top of the driveway. There is a farmhouse on the property. It is diagonally opposite at the end of a separate road and can be booked separately through airbnb. Please contact us if you would like to book the domes and the farmhouse at the same time.

Weekend Trip to Clarence Riverview Lodge Glamping

What a truly special place!! We loved the privacy, the views and how peaceful the lodge was!! The place has everything you need for a peaceful break away. We loved the horses who visited daily for the daily feed on the surrounding grassy area - very magical just watching them graze. Beth was a very responsive host, who was polite and friendly. We’d HIGHLY recommend the lodge for those wanting some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Our dog was also welcome and she really enjoyed the place too! Thank you Beth for allowing us to share such a wonderful place!

Weekend Trip to The Jewel of Caniaba

We spent the whole weekend at Aliki’s place. It was awesome. Quiet all the time. Sorrounded by native birds. The hot tub was pleasant. Aliki left coffee capsules for us. We took the hike down to the creek and was so nice. At night we light up the fire pit which was really comfy. We definitely recommend the place if you want to have a quiet weekend as a couple.

We had 2 families staying for over a week. Firstly, the roads have been resurfaced, you definitely dont need a 4wd to get in (my tesla was fine) When you turn onto the road, its about 100m down on the right and well signed. The wildlife was amazing, we even spotted owls. Chris provides just about everything you need, in the tent was bedding, light, fan, towels. The grounds include a kids play area, huge undercover spot for cooking (microwave, hot water, bbq) and eating (plenty of tables), toilets were clean, showers were wonderfully hot, and we had a fire pit for evening marshmallows. For a large group Id recommend bringing extra water, but couples or single family would be fine. Chris was attentive and someone popped by daily to see if we needed anything, they were also always available at the office when we called. We had so much fun on the kayaks, fishing, swimming in the river, its a magical spot. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting some time out, we could have stayed longer.

Great host. Everything is clean and tidy. The kids and dogs loved it. Found lots of turtles in the water and caught a huge fish. The little calves on the farm were gorgeous and gone to see horses running around drinking from the river. It was a beautiful farm/river experience.

It was a pretty awesome little spot with all the amenities you could possibly need. Some highlights for our kids and us were the indoor chimney/stove and the hot tub by the river, very cool idea there, even if we found it hilarious the wild cattle were using the bath as a drinking trough on their way through. Extra special that you can bring your dog/s as well. Possibly needs a little extra love and attention as a few parts need slight repairs. The hosts pretty much thought of anything you might want for such a stay and we had a great experience.

1 night at Mororo Hobby Farm

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place had everything we needed and more. The beautiful bedding made it feel so comfortable and cosy, the fridges were stocked with drinks and even fresh eggs, and the fire pit was all set and ready to light. The hot spa was definitely a highlight and was perfect for relaxing a. We also loved all the friendly animals — my absolute favourite was the cutest little baby goat! 🐐There’s so much to see and enjoy around the property, and you can really tell how much thought and care has been put into making guests feel welcome. We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay and will absolutely be back again. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely spot. We brought our two dogs and we all thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property & near by towns. The Hot tub was such a treat. The studio was well equiped and very clean. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others.

3 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

For us, this was a near perfect experience. We are not experienced campers and don't typically do camping getaways, but we wanted to do something outdoors with our 5 and 9 year old sons. We went with the big tent accommodation option and it was perfect. The site is self-contained enough that you don't need to worry about cooking, toilet or shower facilities, but remote enough that modern conveniences and entertainment (TVs, computers, phones etc) were not an option. There are loads of places to explore and climb, or you can chill out, swim, and rest. We visited in mid September, so the days were warm and the nights were cool - perfect for day activities and getting fires going at night. The only minor thing we would do differently next time is to bring a full size four wheel drive or more rugged SUV. Our SUV was probably okay, but having no off road driving experience, we were a bit nervous. But if you are steady, it is manageable. Really happy with the adventure.

11 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

This was our third stay at Rocky River Glamp Tent, and it just keeps getting better every time! We visited with our two children and our dog, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. We explored new places, had picnics, went fishing, used our stand-up paddleboard and enjoyed some beautiful hikes. Kristy and Dan are wonderful hosts who always make us feel welcome and well looked after. The property is kept in excellent condition, and each time we return, we can clearly see how much hard work and care they have put into improving it. Some friends joined us for one of the weekends, and everything went smoothly with no issues at all. It’s a fantastic place for families, friends and pets to relax, explore and enjoy the outdoors. We always leave looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

The "Cove" site was amazing. The sound of the running rapids was the highlight and the proximity to the non flushing toilet was a bonus. We had a large group so the extras stayed at the North Runway which was great to be close but not on top of one another. The birdlife was another highlight, the cows, the goannas, were amazing to see too. The road down (4WD) only was easy and fun!
