'The Hut' is fully self-contained, with kitchen, bathroom, TV, ceiling fans. We supply BBQ, Camp oven, Chairs and Tables. It sleeps up to six guests, with 1 Double bed and 2 sets of bunks. All beds have Doonas and Pillows. For groups of more than six, we have the 'Donga' next door, which sleeps up to another four. The Donga has its own bathroom and beds in one large room dormitory style. Doonas and pillows are supplied. 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Tea towels, Bath mats and hand towels supplied. BYO Sheets and Towels. Group bookings of up to 20 are welcome using additional room for tents. We offer capacity for up to 8 people in tents in addition to the 6 guests in the Hut and the 4 guests in the Donga. Access is only possible for 4WD. Our track into Hut is 4WD only. Peak time prices apply. There is no Wifi available however there is very good mobile coverage. Tinny’s or Kayaks can’t be put in directly at hut, however we can show you where you can put them in on our property. We have 2 tandem Kayaks available for your use during your stay - Kid’s must wear life jackets at all times when using the kayaks. Rocky River Play Station is a working bush property on the banks of the Timbarra River, about 20 km / 30 minutes south of Drake Village — an old gold-mining community tucked in the back of NSW Northern Rivers. This is a place for slowing down, sitting on grass, swimming in rivers, watching light change across the hills, and resting amongst the wildlife and our resident cows. Your hosts live further back on the property. We’re close enough to help if needed, but far enough away that you’ll feel properly off-grid. There is no mobile reception, which is part of the magic. We are professional musicians and love to meeting people. Elphie used to own the iconic Nimbin Rox backpacker hostel, and although Soulhaven is only in its infancy, it still has a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home! Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

One guest sai,d "it was like stepping back to a more relaxed time". Another saw the main bedroom and sighed "How romantic!" A booking is for 2 guests and the cottage can accommodate 2 extra people. Guest access You have the whole cottage to yourselves. You are welcome to wander the garden or walk down to the river. Guests have access to the outdoor Forster room. ( A Room with a View !) Guests staying for a while may like to bird watch or count the various native animals that visit the garden. Both depend on the season of the year. Other things to note Fairlight is in the country, 20 minutes from town so the Continental breakfast is extensive since there is no coffee shop to stroll to. You choose your breakfast brands so no food is wasted. Dietary needs like non-dairy or gluten-free can be catered for. Most guests use the kitchen for their evening meal or drive into town. In winter, there are room heaters and electric blankets. In summer, there are pedestal fans but no air conditioning.

Beth is the most welcoming host, she gave super clear instructions to make sure we could get to the property ok. The property wow! It’s very private, overlooking the river and is just gorgeous. The bath was such a brilliant touch! BBQ, shower, toilet, hot bath, fans, blankets, a fridge, kettle - whatever you need for your stay it is there! I really cannot recommend enough, beautiful views!

We loved our stay in the glamping tent. The facilities were excellent and the site itself was amazing. Having our own private stretch of the river was very tranquil. Tubing down the rapids further up the river is a must during any stay at Eagle Ridge. Have recommended to friends and will definitely be back.

What a hidden gem of a place. We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin, from the moment we arrived we enjoyed every second. It’s such a private, peaceful spot and the scenery and river were simply magnificent. Both kids and adults had a blast spending the whole day in the river. For off-grid campers we were spoiled and appreciated the hot shower, flushing toilet and water for washing up. Jess was lovely and took the time to come and meet us, bringing some lucerne for the cows. We were also lucky enough to have a resident peacock visit who clearly loved his watermelon treat. So sad to leave and we can’t wait to return.

Really great cabin in an even better location! My partner and I loved our stay in the cabin. There was plenty of space inside with everything you need and we felt very secluded with lots of privacy. There was cows roaming around which you could feed and a beautiful peacock walking about. The property has plenty lots to offer and explore with a walking trail we found and an unbelievable creek which was great for a swim and to explore. Jess was super helpful and friendly too and even checked in on us when a storm rolled through. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! Elizabeth’s place is amazing. The outdoor bath was the highlight and everything else surpassed our expectations. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and all the unique touches to the bedroom made it really homely. Elizabeth went above and beyond with some extras and was very welcoming when we met her (on horseback!) to guide us in. Thank you - we’ll be back!

Lovely spot. The cabin was clean, new and had everything we needed. The hosts even had milk, eggs and berries in the fridge for us. WiFi was available. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked great. We were only staying as a stopover on a long trip but I would definitely recommend it for a longer stay.

The glamping pod was so lovely, well-equipped, clean and cosy. It is quite a distance from the main house on the property and therefore very private. Great shower and the composting toilet was clean and odour-free. Gorgeous views over the river. Everything was as described and suited our needs perfectly.

Amazing camping location. The campgrounds were exactly as described, well maintained and easy to access. We had a relaxing and wonderful time with our two dogs. The private river is beautiful and surrounded by stunning scenery. We also spent a few nights in the tiny home, which was equally enjoyable and very convenient, with access to the BBQ, deck, and comfortable lounge area. Dan and Kristy were excellent hosts and very accommodating. By far best communication we’ve experienced at any Hipcamp we’ve stayed at. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely beautiful property! Ngaio was super lovely and accomodating. The cabin was comfortable and clean. Our dog had a fantastic time running free in the paddock and swimming in the dam. Looking forward to coming back when we’re next in the area.

Our extended family had a great stay at Brushtales cabin with lovely spots next to the cabin to pitch tents. Having all the facilities of the cabin made camping so easy and comfortable.
