Leave the noise of the city behind and travel to Noojee, a town named after the Aboriginal word for contentment or place to rest.
Surrounded by lush native bush and towering tree ferns, this picturesque town on the Latrobe River sits on the main access route to the ski fields of Mt Baw Baw and is home to a wide range of heritage and natural attractions.
The property consists of 5 acres with a river, so you can set up a tent right next to the river and fish for dinner. The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely.
4WD is recommended for easy access. We recommend tents/swags.
4WD with Heavy trailer is still very hard to enter when it is wet.
Guests will have access to a toilet throughout their stay. There is a communal fire pit available, so guests can enjoy a campfire on the cool evenings. Please abide by any local fire restrictions during your stay.
You can walk from my house to Noojee Heritage Centre, Trestle Bridge, Alpine Trout Farm, and Noojee Hotel for a delicious pizza, Cool beer from tool sheed and coffee from red duck cafe. You can drive to Toorongo Falls, Ada Tree in 10 minutes and Baw Baw Ski Resort in 40 minutes.

Allira’s property is private, with lots of birds and lush greenery. The spot is very easy to get to, close to Healesville, and we explored some of the beautiful areas nearby. It was lovely to come back to the site and hear the kookaburras in the afternoon, and wake up to the birdsong.
Thank you for having us, we are feeling well rested after our stay.

Had a great stay with my friend, 2 kids & 2 dogs. The host is friendly, kind & accommodating - she squeezed us in for an extra night after we decided we wanted to stay longer!
Her border collie Hankook took a liking to the kids & got along well with my high energy/drive gun dogs, so spent a lot of time hanging out at our camp. My dogs were able to be off-lead full time as the camps are spread out along the river with space/vegetation between, as were other campers dogs if they chose to. There was also a goat on property for vegetation management that would get moved around.
For those reasons, if you have a dog-reactive dog or a dog that is too interested in livestock, this camp site won’t be suitable for you. Also note, there are ticks, so ensure your dogs are on a treatment before you visit & have a tick removal tool on hand!
The river is shallow enough to stand in across all parts (deepest spot was waist height on adult) but the current is strong.
We really enjoyed our visit & will be coming back.

We loved the idyllic setting down by the lake which felt secluded and clean. The access was easy, even with a van and Nic the host showed us around. The site is great with some really interesting and fun accommodation options if camping isn’t your thing.

A lovely stay with Kim. It’s a stunning place next to the river, and we loved being able to bring our dog. The resident dogs are adorable too. Being within walking distance to town and dining options was a huge plus.

Tranquility at its finest!
Spent the weekend at Clear Horizons with the family. Shelly and Craig are outstanding hosts, super friendly and helpful. Walked around the property and visited the horses and Angus cows. Lucky enough to see a family of kookaburras paying us a visit in the evening.
Need to go back to get some fresh honey👌

The camping space is attractive with views north and west; good sunsets. There was afternoon shade available next to a gum tree. Both Shelly and Craig were warm hosts, friendly and supportive. It is close to the Princes Highway that it is easy to access. The camping block has a gentle slope and the grass is cut. We would recommend this to any campers and would gladly return. Thanks Shelly and Craig.

We had a fantastic overnight stay at Cannavale Farm Stay and couldn’t fault it.
The site itself was spacious, grassy and easy to access, with plenty of room to get set up comfortably. It felt nicely spread out and private, with beautiful open views across the surrounding farmland. Super peaceful and quiet, especially in the evening.
The farm setting is lovely. Waking up to the sounds of cattle and the countryside was a real highlight and exactly what we were looking for in a farm stay. It’s close enough to town to be convenient, but once you’re there it really feels like a proper escape.
Hosts were welcoming and the property is well maintained. If you’re self-contained and after a relaxed, no-fuss farm stay with space, views and a calm rural vibe, this place is a great option. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to others.

We had such a relaxing stay here. The campsite is peaceful with a beautiful view of the river and surrounding nature. It was also really nice to properly disconnect from our phones for the weekend.
Kim was incredibly welcoming. She even surprised us with fresh Korean pancakes while we were setting up (it was 10/10 so delicious).
We visited on a rainy weekend and our AWD SUV had no issues getting in or out of the campsite.
Kim’s pets were the absolute highlight and truly made the trip memorable. We adored them and would 100% come back.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with a genuinely kind host.

The most beautiful pitch, right beside the river with a stunning surrounding. Very friendly host who brought us a pancake as a welcome gift. Two very happy dogs whose company we enjoyed. Overall would highly recommend.
