We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop. A maximum of 4 vans on River block and 2 on adjoining paddock, in one group. Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans. This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group. If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. We allow only ELECTRIC chainsawing on site between 1pm-4pm . Tiny Castle at Tynecastle Park

Tiny Castle is a custom built tiny house that overlooks farmland, bushland and the glorious Stzelecki Ranges including Mount Worth. With a large covered deck connected to the front of the tiny house, you don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne. As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house. With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb. Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking. What you can do around here: 30 minutes drive to Tarra Bulga National Park, Woodside Beach and Maryvale Pines MTB track. 20 minutes to Yarram for shopping and awesome coffee, also popular for Heesco murals. Outdoor swimming pool is open in summer time where you can have a hot shower. 5 minutes to Carrajung Estate which has exceptional wine and incredible cuisine.

Hedley Gardens and Bush Camp is my oasis situated on four acres just minutes from the beach and the bush, and an easy 20min drive to either Foster or Yarram. Food-producing landscaped gardens with four separate self-contained living areas. Guests are welcome to pick their own salad and herbs and picnic in the gardens! Only seven minutes drive to a quiet beach, boating, fishing and the long jetty. The property is conveniently located within close proximity to Welshpool, Agnes falls, National parks, numerous rivers and a State forest. The assorted accommodation available includes a two bedroom cottage with kids room and cot set up, one King size bedroom with open fire place and two extra single beds with attached camp kitchen, and another King size bedroom with a kitchenette a king single and a trundle bed. It has an attached shower and toilet. There are also many camp sites available for tents, Vans and RV's, with a toilet for those guests in the cottage, the shed and campers. Power and camp kitchen facilities also available. Plenty of room to play cricket or have a get-together. Whole or part of the property including main residence can be rented to groups and functions are also welcome.
