We are located close to the township of Little River, made famous for movies that were produced here including Mad Max and The Dress Maker. We offer several campsites suited to self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Not too far from here you will find the You Yangs, which are the geological signature to Melbourne's western horizon. This low-lying mound of hills is a truly ancient upwelling of granite, having formed more than 350 million years ago. There are some great places here to explore, with options for mountain bike trails, horse-riding trails, orienteering areas, picnic grounds and even a nearby paint ball place! Your dog is welcome. Nobody else in site. Plenty of room if other campers arrive (no need to camp right on top of each other lile I've experienced elsewhere). The Little River pub is not far away and the do awesome beef ribs and cold beers. Cheers

Second time at Graces land! What a treat to be close to Melbourne and yet feel like you’re much further out! Enjoyed our stay here! Initially staying 3 nights however weather turned upside down on the last evening and didn’t want have our gear drying for the rest of the week if we stayed the last night, great amenities and Grace and her dogs are very accommodating and kind. Great place!

We had an amazing relaxing time here. Grace and her family are such warm and welcoming hosts, happy to help, share stories, checked in to make sure all is well, recommended good spots for hikes, sunsets etc. Best eggs ive had! The property is stunning , clean clear air, rolling hills, no matter the weather the energy was perfect. A very special spot, Nature at its finest, a serene escape indeed. Facilities were on point, very clean, hot showers, excelent toilets, good shade from the trees, spacious sites, plenty of privacy. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back and recommend to others ♥️🙏🙌 Thank You! Xxx

I enjoyed my stay at Little River camp. Nothing better than waking up hearing the birds, sheeps and the roos. The place is only 30-40 mins away from the western suburbs but it’s very large, quiet and away from all the city life. Plenty of spots to choose from and the view of the farm, hills and its wildlife are magnificent. Hosts are very helpful and responsive. Would definitely be back here and recommend 👍🏼

5 nights at Little River Camp

We very much enjoyed the massive amount of space and privacy this camp offers. It was located close enough to Melbourne to visit family and close enough to the spirit of tas for our trip home. It is pretty much flat acreage with the you yangs as your back drop. Lots of kangaroos and sheep. Yes there is a rifle range up the road so yes you may hear them during the day but didn’t bother us.

We had a great weekend. The campground is lovely and the firewood was very generous.. we took advantage of the ballerina Peninsula rail trail played some golf and had dinner at Mona Resturant which is in the next farm. What a great place.

We had a lovely and peaceful stay here. This was our ideal break from the city as it had all the amenities we needed and the only sounds were from nature. We explored the hiking trails on the property and were blessed with lovely weather. Our dog loved it here. It is a great place if you have a dog. Grace is very kind and considerate for her guests. Hot showers while camping were amazing! We will be back :)
