Located near the end of the property, around 600 metres beyond Riverside and Rocky River. This flat, shaded and secluded bush site sits roughly *60 metres away from the river*

Far End:
As the name suggests, Far End sits right at the very end of our property and offers the utmost peace and privacy. This flat, shaded campsite is just 10–20 metres from the river and surrounded by trees, making it a favourite among returning guests.

Riverside King Valley is set on 16 acres on the banks of the King river featuring 10 spacious campsite spread along the property. Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away.
Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras).
Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

It is surrounded by picturesque green countryside laden with ancient Red Rivergum Trees and billabongs with access to river frontage for fishing and the King River SiteWhite Cedar sites have a swimming hole for those hot summer days. The Secret Island site does have a swimming spot but not as safe for little ones.
The river is ideal for swimming, floating and fishing. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property.
Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided at the site plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around.
The King River Site is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us.
Accessible for most types of vehicles. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale (see Extras).
We are close to the region’s attractions including 15mins drive to Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa, many Lookouts and National Parks, Lake William Hovell, Restaurants, Wineries and Distilleries of this special area.

Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites .
We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden and Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness and Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away.
Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The three best sites for swimming are The Crossing, The River Bend and The Willows . We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time.
We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking.
We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water.
Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site!
We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski

Incredible central and private location, set back off the Snow Road in Oxley, Northeast Victoria, boasting natural riverplain terrain with diverse ecology, lagoons and rivers onsite. There is plenty to do in the area from wineries to walking tracks, snow fields to breweries, not to mention renowned Brown Brothers Winery and the Milawa Cheese Factory, just down the road.
There are tracks from your campsite that link to the sealed bike path which joins Wangaratta, Oxley and Milawa townships together. Then only a short walk, bike or scooter ride and you are at Miranda Winery, King River Cafe or Oxley Park (with playground and BBQ). There is also a communal swimming hole (King River) at the Stan Allen Reserve just before the Oxley Park. This is particularly great for the campsites that, although are perched on the banks of the King River, don’t have their own designated swimming hole. Also a key feature is, the irrigation during summer months keeping campsites green all year round as well as the natural lagoons to paddle in with the kayak.
If you are a keen fisherman, the King River is known for Cod and if you have booked one of the southern most sites you will be able to paddle up the river in a kayak fishing, (kayak not supplied).
There are no toilets available onsite and campers must be self-contained keeping in mind, there are toilet facilities at the Oxley Park. Pets are welcome but, must be contained within your site as there are livestock and other campers to consider.
For more accuate information pertainnig to each site check out the specific listings/sites. Some sites are set up for group bookings and others for couples with pricing to match. If you have a large event in mind and wish to book out the entire farm, please reach out for further discussions. Awesome spot just minutes from Albury. Camped on the banks of the Murray for 2 nights sharing the area with some nice looking Rib-eye Steak 🙂 Fire pit was well utilised on the cool nights. Great grassy spot on the river. Very private and not far from town. Easy to find. We loved our 3 night stay, despite having rain, hail and sunshine. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to run around and swim in the river. The resident cows are very friendly.
Hosts were very responsive and very friendly. Good value bundle of firewood which comes with a friendly chat from host Byron.

Willow Bank on the Murray – Where the cows are your neighbours and the city is only 3 minutes away!
What a beautiful little slice of heaven! It’s only about a 3-minute drive from Albury, yet once you arrive, it feels like you’ve driven straight into the middle of the countryside and left civilisation behind.
You’ve got cows, kangaroos and even your very own goose — who clearly considers himself the local security guard and may or may not approve of your stay! 🪿😂
The property is right on the Murray, and with the private coded entry, you really feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Total peace and privacy… apart from the occasional jet skier or kayaker cruising past to remind you that, technically, you are still part of society! 😂
It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind and pretend you’ve escaped to the country without actually having to drive for three hours to get there.
The host was fantastic — great communication, easy to deal with and made everything nice and straightforward.
We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% book again. Just hoping the goose hasn’t put us on the banned list! 🪿🤣
Beautiful location, peaceful, private and ridiculously close to Albury. Highly recommend!

Billabong Flats is such a beautiful and peaceful camp. We were welcomed by John and shown to our site which was lush and green with a river view and plenty of fire wood. It’s in an excellent location for exploring the area and an overall beautiful property that we felt privileged to be able to share for a few days.

Buffalo River Retreat . Excellent property immaculate kept sites very private . Patrick was very helpful and friendly great fishing and overall very relaxing three nights. Very handy also with drop toilet on each site with portable water on the property. Will definitely be back 😀

Beautiful spot over looking the river, nice flat site to setup the van. Views up and down the river are excellent. Hosts are super friendly and accommodating, great communication about the location.
We stayed Sat-Tuesday, the only down side was the traffic noise from the highway. Don’t notice it over the weekend, but Monday morning and later on Monday afternoon it was very obvious.

Loved the location - a scenic and serenity infused bend in the Murray on a cattle property so close to town but far enough away to not know civilisation was mere minutes down the road.
Loved having our own private campsite - no one to be concerned about but us and the flow of the Murray and a few cows and calves as our daily welcoming committee. (The secret password is Moooooooove 🤭)
Ample firewood and firepit with our chosen add on to the booking. Julie was also incredibly welcoming and friendly.
We would definitely recommend a visit here and would stay again! Thank you ☺️
