Riverside King Valley is set on 16 acres on the banks of the King river featuring 10 spacious campsite spread along the property. Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away.
Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras).
Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites .
We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden and Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness and Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away.
Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The three best sites for swimming are The Crossing, The River Bend and The Willows . We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time.
We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking.
We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water.
Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site!

Some of the activities available include fishing, swimming, bush walking, hunting and bike riding. Within the 400 acre property, you will find it home to many wild animals, including kangaroos, wombats, platypus, possums and a range of birds. The main fish in the river are trout and cod, so if you’re a keen fishermen this is the place for you!
The beautiful town of Mitta Mitta is only a five minute drive, offering the renowned Mitta Pub, Paddy’s Reserve swimming hole and playground, and an abundance of walking trails. The Mitta Brewery is only a three minute drive, offering beautiful views of Mount Bogong from their premises. Dartmouth and the largest man-made dam in the southern hemisphere, the Dartmouth Dam, are only a 15 minute drive. The town of Eskdale is also only a 10 minute drive.
We offer six sites on the property, and we also have a beautiful 4-bedroom homestead located on the property available to book through Airbnb.
Site 1 is our most popular, as it offers a touch of glamping, as it is our only site to offer a permanent caravan for your use. The caravan is unpowered, but includes a double bed, kettle, gas cooker, water source availability and battery powered lights. Surrounding the caravan is a very large area for additional caravans, vehicles and tents, so it can be still be used as a self-sufficient site.
The other five sites are all open spaces on the river front with ample space for multiple vehicles, caravans, tents and camping equipment.
There are dedicated campfire areas for use along the river, and firewood can be purchased on site with cash - approximately $25 per wheelbarrow load. Please let us know prior to arrival if you'd like any.
We welcome your pets as your guests however please be mindful there may be cattle in surrounding paddocks and dogs at other sites.

The Secret Island site does have a swimming spot but not as safe for little ones.
The river is ideal for swimming, floating and fishing. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property.
Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided at the site plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around.
The King River Site is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us.
Accessible for most types of vehicles. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale (see Extras).

The Thowgla Hall is a community-run hall in the heart of the beautiful Thowgla Valley. Only 5km from Corryong, its location is the perfect quiet camping spot to get away from the crowds in town during the Man From Snowy River Festival. We are also conveniently located very close to the reenactment site, so you can get up there early to grab the best seats.
The camping area is located in a beautiful, level paddock behind the hall, with a huge amount of space, scattered gumtrees, and stunning views.
You will have full use of our newly renovated full kitchen, toilets, baby change table, and hot showers. You're also welcome to use our picnic area and fire pit!

Incredible central and private location, set back off the Snow Road in Oxley, Northeast Victoria, boasting natural riverplain terrain with diverse ecology, lagoons and rivers onsite. There is plenty to do in the area from wineries to walking tracks, snow fields to breweries, not to mention renowned Brown Brothers Winery and the Milawa Cheese Factory, just down the road.
There are tracks from your campsite that link to the sealed bike path which joins Wangaratta, Oxley and Milawa townships together. Then only a short walk, bike or scooter ride and you are at Miranda Winery, King River Cafe or Oxley Park (with playground and BBQ). There is also a communal swimming hole (King River) at the Stan Allen Reserve just before the Oxley Park. This is particularly great for the campsites that, although are perched on the banks of the King River, don’t have their own designated swimming hole. Also a key feature is, the irrigation during summer months keeping campsites green all year round as well as the natural lagoons to paddle in with the kayak.
If you are a keen fisherman, the King River is known for Cod and if you have booked one of the southern most sites you will be able to paddle up the river in a kayak fishing, (kayak not supplied).
There are no toilets available onsite and campers must be self-contained keeping in mind, there are toilet facilities at the Oxley Park. Pets are welcome but, must be contained within your site as there are livestock and other campers to consider.

If you have a large event in mind and wish to book out the entire farm, please reach out for further discussions. Diverse 20 acre self-reliant permaculture farm, a perfect getaway from the city to reconnect with nature and animals, and enjoy the peacefulness under a starlit sky. Productive homestead with olive grove, orchard, milking goats, cat, bee hives, vegetable gardens and free roaming chooks. Lots of shady trees, screen plantings, bird life and other small wild animals.
Farm produce available. Free stick fire wood available to collect around the farm. Children welcome under your full responsibility. Calm quiet dogs only, must be kept on leash at all times. There are off leash areas nearby.
Peaceful unpowered sites within walking distance of train station and Violet Town shops, library, post office, public swimming pool, walking track, and health clinic. The second Saturday of the month has the big Violet Town market.
Within 30 km are beautiful Strathbogie ranges with granite country hiking, wildlife and natural swimming pools.

A beautiful grassy, shaded area with stunning views, privacy and seclusion. The site has a lovely sweeping bend that has water that's suitable for families to swim in with some shallow water for littlies to paddle in. There is also some lovely sand for the kids to play in. Locally you are in the middle of the two famous valleys which offer some amazing gourmet experiences. You are within minutes from the King valley or the ovens Valley. And 50mins from Bright with all the beautiful towns and attractions on the way. You're spoilt for choice in this location for wineries, restaurants, berry farms. Famous town of Beechworth is only 30mins. Ideal location if you feel like leaving the magic camp ground that will provide you with a real sense of peace and relaxation with not a building in sight.

We had a fantastic stay. Vicki and Byron were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make everything easy and comfortable. Communication was excellent from start to finish, which made the whole experience smooth.
The location right next to the river was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and a great spot to unwind. Being so close to Albury was also a huge bonus, making it simple to duck into town whenever needed.
Although we could hear some noise from the road we did not find this interrupted the tranquility of the camp.
Overall, a wonderful place with outstanding hosts. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful camping experience at Riverside King Valley. The hosts were very friendly, and the natural surroundings were beautiful. The campsites are well spaced, so it feels peaceful and private. Our dogs loved running around, while the kids had a great time exploring insects and lizards. Something for everyone!

We stayed as a big group and it was the perfect setting for a group camping trip. There was plenty of space for everyone to set up comfortably, relax, play games, cook together and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded.
The property had such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and being surrounded by nature made the whole weekend feel like a proper escape. We spent our day enjoying the outdoors and our evenings around the campfire, sharing food, music, plenty of laughs and making memories together.
Ginnie was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful, and made the whole experience easy from arrival to departure. You could tell a lot of thought had gone into creating a space where people can genuinely switch off and enjoy themselves.
For a large group looking for a peaceful and memorable camping experience, we couldn’t recommend Ginnie & Garry’s place enough. We had such a fantastic weekend and would absolutely love to come back again.

This place was incredible, with lots of room, a beautiful camp spot, and on top of all that, a host who was amazing to deal with. They provided us with firewood, fresh eggs, and even took us around the farm just because they wanted to show us around, which was such a lovely touch.
The campsite itself was peaceful, private and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was the perfect place to switch off, relax and enjoy being out in nature. Everything was clean, well looked after and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Right near the creek too so it was a lovely touch to just sit and switch off their too. I had a 2WD lexus with all terrains and getting in and out during the dryer days was easy peasy for anyone who cares to know or doesn't have all the tools to get to all the spots.
The hospitality really made the experience though. You could tell the hosts genuinely cared about their guests and wanted everyone to have a great time. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful camping experience!

A great private spot within a stones throw of Myrtleford. Along with a spectacular host, this hipcamp is ideal for beginner and experienced campers. Well thought of amenities within the campsite, toilet, shower and bins to accommodate. We had a great time at this campsite and would easily revisit in the near future😃

We had the best time! A stunning spot to park and set up. The shed was amazing with a gorgeous view from the couches, and we were so relaxed with our dogs during the stay. Absolutely will be back. Access to the site was easy with a 8m, 3.5m high motorhome. Lyndon was so responsive and helpful and it was the most refreshing and relaxing break.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful large flat grassy spot, the dog and the kids loved it. We were only here for a single night during winter but would love to see it in the warmer weather. Although is was cold the view from the camper as the sun rose with the frost everywhere and the birds waking up was pure magic.
