The Property is situated on the pristine Wallagaraugh river near the Victorian and New South Wales border, 8km down an all weather dirt road has some bumpy sections, accessible for caravaners and boaters and is approximately 45 km from Eden and 40 km from Mallacoota by car, very isolated but has limited phone and internet reception, 15 minutes down river Gypsy Point, another 20 minutes your at Mallacoota on the coast if you need fuel, supplies, etc, 5 to 10 minutes up river the bullring , proceeding with caution you will go through a temperate rainforest and end up at the rock wall with small waterfalls and fresh water pools. A haven for many species of birds and wildlife, sea and wedge tail eagles nesting close by a bird watchers and canoeists paradise, also many species of fish so if you want to wet a line a Victorian fishing licence is needed, the river has a 5 knot speed limit from the campsite to Gypsy Point, if your more into bushwalking or sightseeing there are several national parks within a 30 minute drive or boat trip, or just have a swim, chill, relax and enjoy the peace and serenity. one site has small tinny access to the river and the other is good for a 20 ft boat, camping and fires are only allowed in designated camping areas due to rehabilitation of river frontage large trees and flash flooding, at all sites you cannot camp or have fires in fenced off river frontage, bring your own firewood or it can be supplied for $25 per wheelbarrow when booking in, you will have to provide your own, shower, water, etc, all sites have access to a site toilet, take all waste away when you leave, I can arrange if needed by prior notice, bulk firewood, launching of boat, etc. No firewood collection, motorbike riding, shooting or 4x4ing on site, some pets on leash may be allowed by prior arrangement, there's a 10 % discount factored in at checkout if booking for 5 or more nights, if having trouble booking or any other inquiries please send message cheers John.

We border the Mitchell river with the farm so there are about 1 km of secluded banks to sit or swim from if you want to just stay put. For those wanting pure relaxation, meditation, and soul grounding. We can personally show you some tremendous places on the farm to go within. Pure solace is something that many take for granted. Use our pyramid to draw in Quantum/etheric energy, go to the top of our crystal hill and feel the energies. There is so much to be thankful for when you can release in these spaces. Alternatively sit amongst the cows and feel their energy surround you as their curious nature brings them in closer and closer until they relax around you. Alternatively if you want to chill with a beer on the river bank and try for some bass, or watch the eastern water dragons play in the sun and water, then that’s a great way to unwind, or soak up the sun rays as it drops below the horizon on the crystal hill or rolling flood plains. A personal favourite of a campfire and a few drinks with the stars is a great way to unwind when you have so much space and privacy. The sites are located next to our rental lodge where we sometimes do retreats, or holiday let it as well. The privacy is wonderful if that's what you are looking for. A walk each morning from one end of the farm where you will stay to the other and back is a leisurely 2kms so maybe that is your morning start, but walk the lanes and check the fences and cows while you're at it please 🙂, ticks a job for us while your relaxing. Want to learn about the history of the area? Well a session with us will teach you everything didn't know about the Dargo High Plains, the mountain cattlemen of the high country and much more. Take advantage of your time to enjoy the history of the area and the wonderful past times enjoyed. What is available off farm? Number one, the pub with great counter meals is across the river, 5kms away. Lindenow Farmers Hotel is iconic in its design and history, the reputed Lindenow Long Paddock Cafe is also a few hundred metres from the pub, and the Post Office and Store have all your essentials. Need a few more things? Bairnsdale is 24kms away from the farm and offers all you need. Lakes Entrance is about 40 mins for a day out on the beach. Paynesville around 30 mins. If you want to venture up into the mountains then why not go through Dargo just 45 mins and up onto Mt Hotham (Summer only) via the Dargo High Plains. It’s a great track and on occasions I take people up for a guided tour and secret camp spots on my yearly run up there for my own relax time. East Gippsland in general is a wonderful region to stop and relax during all seasons but especially summer with the water activities available, the camping in the high country, and the markets that abound the area. We really loved camping at this site, Amenities were too clean and modern with a baby bath tub as we had a 5 month old , weather could have been a little better but overall not bad . would highly recommend, Kitchen was huge with big sitting space , very neat and clean . 10 on 10

We had a most peaceful beautiful time here. Fantastic setting by the water, jetty and a fire pit. Lovely lawned area to park our van. Some native wildlife included too. Unfortunately we couldn't use the fire pit as planned due to the weather conditions but we will definitely be back and would highly recommend this site.

A beautiful, secluded location, only the sound of the birds and the river flowing on three sides. Heaps of room to kick a football out just relax by the river. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes the bush as well as peace and quiet.

Did a last minute stay at the end of winter school holidays and I was lucky to have the area to myself and it was sensational. Good clean facilities, the river was great, the area and town was perfect. Wayne gave me some tips to see local attractions and the kids loved pearl point. I would recommend this place and the town in general 5 stars

Buchan great spot. I went with a caravan and 4 young boys. Our main reason to stay was to visit the caves. It's minutes away from them. The site is wonderful. Lots of grass, well looked after. Beaufiful views. We setup next to the water and power. No drama there. There is no toilet, but there is a very clean public toilet at the end of the driveway. I've stayed at caravan parks that have a similar walking distance to the amenities block. So, officially no toilet, but it kinda does have one. There was a super friendly small dog that came to check us out. My kids named it Lemonade, but then changed it to Cola as has dark fur. Paul and Kirstie were great with their communication. I knew exactly how to get there and what to do once there. They also gave me some helpful tips about the caves.

It was so lovely to stay the night at Trent’s property. He was very friendly and welcoming and had all sorts of outdoor activities to keep our son entertained.
