Any guest who would like to book a site to arrive before Christmas Day and depart after Boxing Day please message us via Hip Camp and we can make the site available for your booking.
Guests MUST be fully self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground) you will need to have a suitable camp toilet where you are able to take your waste with you on departure.
There is a Dump Point available in Rawson.
Site Toilets can be hired thru Moe Hire (03 5127 7114), they will deliver & pick up from your site.
A fire pit is provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group.

The Property is situated on the pristine Wallagaraugh river near the Victorian and New South Wales border, 8km down an all weather dirt road has some bumpy sections, accessible for caravaners and boaters and is approximately 45 km from Eden and 40 km from Mallacoota by car, very isolated but has limited phone and internet reception, 15 minutes down river Gypsy Point, another 20 minutes your at Mallacoota on the coast if you need fuel, supplies, etc, 5 to 10 minutes up river the bullring , proceeding with caution you will go through a temperate rainforest and end up at the rock wall with small waterfalls and fresh water pools. A haven for many species of birds and wildlife, sea and wedge tail eagles nesting close by a bird watchers and canoeists paradise, also many species of fish so if you want to wet a line a Victorian fishing licence is needed, the river has a 5 knot speed limit from the campsite to Gypsy Point, if your more into bushwalking or sightseeing there are several national parks within a 30 minute drive or boat trip, or just have a swim, chill, relax and enjoy the peace and serenity. one site has small tinny access to the river and the other is good for a 20 ft boat, camping and fires are only allowed in designated camping areas due to rehabilitation of river frontage large trees and flash flooding, at all sites you cannot camp or have fires in fenced off river frontage, bring your own firewood or it can be supplied for $25 per wheelbarrow when booking in, you will have to provide your own, shower, water, etc, all sites have access to a site toilet, take all waste away when you leave, I can arrange if needed by prior notice, bulk firewood, launching of boat, etc. No firewood collection, motorbike riding, shooting or 4x4ing on site, some pets on leash may be allowed by prior arrangement, there's a 10 % discount factored in at checkout if booking for 5 or more nights, if having trouble booking or any other inquiries please send message cheers John.

As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house.
With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb.
Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Each level is quite narrow so camper vans that flip out to the side and annexes are likely not to fit.
Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking.

We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please.
Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop.

There are many bush tracks throughout the property to explore and a large community of birdlife is ever present. Other wildlife you may see, Wombats,Kangaroos,Deer and Wallabies. We do recommend a 4WD as the ground in some areas is quite sandy but still accessible with 2wd. Access to the pristine Cabbage Tree ck for kayaking/canoeing or fishing is available.
We have two sites for campers (for either tents and RVs) that are tucked into cleared bushland areas, with lovely bush views, and privacy for just your own group. You'll need to be fully independent, with your water and shower, and must take all waste when you depart.
Campfires are permitted,(except on total fire bans) and there are two fire pits on site with swing over hot plates and pot/kettle chain. We also welcome dogs but please keep on a lead at all times as wild life can be present.
We don't offer self-picking at our farm yet, however when the berries are in season (Jan - Feb), you are welcome to purchase punnets picked that day! Fresh blueberries for your campfire breakfast, yum!

Love Jo’s ECO Studio, clean and rustic and environmentally friendly. Jo is very welcoming on arrival and made we have everything we needed. The surrounding is beautiful and quiet only the sound of birds in the morning to wake up to. There are plenty of places nearby to see and do so you are in the best location.
I can’t recommend Jo’s place highly enough.

We really loved camping at this site, Amenities were too clean and modern with a baby bath tub as we had a 5 month old , weather could have been a little better but overall not bad . would highly recommend, Kitchen was huge with big sitting space , very neat and clean . 10 on 10

Was a fantastic campsite that Chris has set up. Great firepit and amenities for the 2 nights and Chris was extremely friendly and helpful (and showed us their new baby goat). Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a premium camping experience.

Did a last minute stay at the end of winter school holidays and I was lucky to have the area to myself and it was sensational.
Good clean facilities, the river was great, the area and town was perfect.
Wayne gave me some tips to see local attractions and the kids loved pearl point.
I would recommend this place and the town in general

Buchan great spot. I went with a caravan and 4 young boys. Our main reason to stay was to visit the caves. It's minutes away from them. The site is wonderful. Lots of grass, well looked after. Beaufiful views. We setup next to the water and power. No drama there.
There is no toilet, but there is a very clean public toilet at the end of the driveway. I've stayed at caravan parks that have a similar walking distance to the amenities block. So, officially no toilet, but it kinda does have one.
There was a super friendly small dog that came to check us out. My kids named it Lemonade, but then changed it to Cola as has dark fur.
Paul and Kirstie were great with their communication. I knew exactly how to get there and what to do once there. They also gave me some helpful tips about the caves.

Loved camping at Tony and Sarah’s farm. Tony was very friendly and welcoming, telling us what to watch out for give I had my toy poodle along with me, he even helped us set up the fire! The site was very spacious and accommodate a large group, the addition of hot shower, drop toilet, drinking water and picnic tables made it more than comfortable. The campsite was completely fenced off, which meant my toy poodle had free rein which she absolutely loved! There are two walking tracks just down the road as well. All in all, a peaceful stay for a weekend away.

Great set up, walking distance to town with a gorgeous pub. We were lucky to have it all to ourselves. Fire pits are available and were enjoyed in the brisk evenings. The availability of both power and water was also wonderful.
A handy camp for exploring the caves and the surrounding area and hikes.

Such a beautiful get away with the most insane rainforest view! We enjoyed our time so much and the dogs loved it even more. Definitely need to book the viewing platform as the panoramic views with the sunset were otherworldly. We will be back for sure!
