Guests MUST be fully self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground) you will need to have a suitable camp toilet where you are able to take your waste with you on departure.
There is a Dump Point available in Rawson.
Site Toilets can be hired thru Moe Hire (03 5127 7114), they will deliver & pick up from your site.
A fire pit is provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group.

Tarra Bulga National Park and the magnificent Wilson's Promontory are easy day trips for some of the best hiking in the state.
We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please.
Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop.

Beach fire at night is something special to do.
The beach track is across from the front gate, there is no beach sign from the road because the public will then use the track which is only for Hipcampers and you wont enjoy the deserted beach. Call me if you cant find the track, but most people have not had a problem. This walking access is steep, easier tracks can be driven to down the road.
Or take a dip in the river further down the road, and explore the waterways,
with many birds; black swans in the lakes next to camp, plus kangaroos, wombats, emu and deer.
There is a boat ramp just down the road to explore the river system.
Perfect for water sports, and with fish cleaning tables at the wharf.
Go by boat to the Marlo Hotel from the
wharf straight over the river.
Orbost is 15 minutes drive and has a supermarket, hotel, bottle shop and other conveniences.
We are open to accepting larger group bookings, but please discuss this with us first.
Other things you can do in the area:

and exploring the High Country (4-5 hour round trip).
- Visit the Buchan Caves about an hour into the High Country - they are amazing.

Guests MUST be fully self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground) you will need to have a suitable camp toilet where you are able to take your waste with you on departure.
There is a Dump Point available in Rawson.
Site Toilets can be hired thru Moe Hire (03 5127 7114), they will deliver & pick up from your site.
A fire pit is provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group.

We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please.
Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop.

The beach track is across from the front gate, there is no beach sign from the road because the public will then use the track which is only for Hipcampers and you wont enjoy the deserted beach. Call me if you cant find the track, but most people have not had a problem. This walking access is steep, easier tracks can be driven to down the road.
Or take a dip in the river further down the road, and explore the waterways,
with many birds; black swans in the lakes next to camp, plus kangaroos, wombats, emu and deer.
There is a boat ramp just down the road to explore the river system.
Perfect for water sports, and with fish cleaning tables at the wharf.
Go by boat to the Marlo Hotel from the
wharf straight over the river.
Orbost is 15 minutes drive and has a supermarket, hotel, bottle shop and other conveniences.
We are open to accepting larger group bookings, but please discuss this with us first.
Other things you can do in the area:

and exploring the High Country (4-5 hour round trip).
- Visit the Buchan Caves about an hour into the High Country - they are amazing.
- Explore Cape Conran & you can even

I have just returned from spending two peaceful nights tent camping at Milleara Gardens. From the moment I arrived I could see that it would be a great stay. The gardens are kept immaculately and the camping areas are well-signed, neatly mowed and there's plenty of space. The owner, Helen, swung by to say hello a few minutes after I arrived and we had a good chat about the terrible bushfires affecting much of Victoria. Although I came prepared to be fully self-contained, Helen offered the use of a porta-loo for a small additional charge, which I gladly accepted. I highly recommend Milleara Gardens and will definitely be making a return visit in the near future.

The camp kitchen is incredibly well equiped and the toilet and shower were always in impeccable condition. We loved dining with the cows and kangaroos at meal times (in the next door paddock!)

Amazing campsite. Great views and facilities.
The ride to campsite is fun. Opening and closing gates gives you a little “outback-ish” feel. A little bit off road.
Adrian is a great guy. Very welcoming and his campsite is well looked after. He updated his facilities about two years ago so all is new.
(Shower is amazing)
The site itself is beautiful and spacious. At dawn the kangaroos show themself in the back field. I guess that explains the name.
10/10 would recommend.

Our first experience together with my wife. We had never been camping since we were in Australia. We are from Colombia 🇨🇴 and we wanted to feel the nature that will remind us of our beautiful land. And we found here the ideal place, quiet, calm, we were lucky that it was not occupied; which we loved because we were looking for privacy. Helen was a wonderful, attentive and helpful host. Had a great time here! Beautiful spot! Super friendly and helpful host- and the fact they transport all gear to the campsite is a huge win and means that we were able to camp comfortably! Our puppy had a great time, however as she’s long haired she got covered in grass seeds - not prickly and were easy to remove by hand!

Incredible creek view and trees! Trent was a lovely host, checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable.
Place is easy to find and plenty of little outdoor games in the area such as darts and tennis ball on a sling!
Beautiful creek and pinchies! *fresh water cray fish or yabbies* came out to say hello :)
Dunny was very thoughtful with amenities and close by to site 5!

This is a place not to be missed! To be surrounded by nature in this most peaceful place under 2 hrs from Melbourne is incredible. We booked a last minute 1 night stay and turns out somebody left a day early which gave us the chance to find this place. The campsites are huge, some next to the river, and just the most perfect place to unwind whether alone or with a group of family and friends. We met Bernie who took us to our camp and was so lovely and friendly. He was more than happy to answer all my questions about how his hazelnut farm works. We will 100% be back there very soon and will be telling everybody we know (reluctantly as we want to keep it a secret). Thank you for sharing this place so we can appreciate your pocket of paradise.

Beautiful spot to catch up with friends. The national park is so pretty. Beautiful walks, lovely waterfalls near by. Facilities were good and wifi was great as there is no phone reception.

This is the first time I did the camping and I can say I have a very good experience and very impressed with the overall facilities in the site. The view is beautiful, and you can see wallaby during sunset close the kitchen. I am also very surprised when I can see closely a group of cows close in the morning near the kitchen.
The kids have fantastic time here.
The owner is also very friendly and helpful, and the facilities is well beyond than my expectation. Very clean kitchen, toilet & bathroom.
