https://visitmarlo.com.au/ The property is located between Marlo and Cape Conran in Far East Gippsland. Orbost is 25km’s away if you need groceries and services, ( toilet dump is near Forest park & top up your water at the toilet block near the SES building) We are a working Beef property, we have 2 working cattle dogs. We have Angus cows and Wagyu bulls and produce First cross wagyu calves. We have dorper sheep and an Alpaca for protection. Some of the sites have ocean views. This is a large paddock with no designated camp sites. YOU get to choose where you set up. There’s plenty of options so pick a site with a bit of space around you. In whale migration season you can often see the whales breaching off shore, otherwise sit back and spot the odd sailing boat or enjoy the sunsets. There’s a bush track through the bush down to a good surf FISHING beach, or Point Ricardo is 1 km away. We are 10 kilometres to the mouth of the Snowy River and the township of Marlo where there is a 2 great coffee shops and the Marlo Hotel where you can watch the sunset over the Snowy Estuary and have a great meal. To the east 8kms is Cape Conran with swimming beaches and a boat ramp to the ocean. The site setting is a cow paddock, there are NO facilities available you must be fully self sufficient. This venue will suit RV ‘s, caravans or the fully self contained rustic camper that have their OWN TOILETS!

There are multiple camping sites on the ridge line over looking the ocean. This is normally a paddock for our cows. You can choose any location in the paddock. The area is great for bird watching. There are no facilities or potable water at this site.

We had a great stay at Ridge Park. We were lucky to be the only ones there, but there is plenty of space for the relatively small number of campers allowed. The views are wonderful and it’s close to all the attractions the area has to offer. We met Vanessa and she was very friendly and helpful, offering some great local knowledge on places to go.

What a fabulous spot - mind blowing being on a farm and seeing and hearing the ocean! Very easy access for caravans, heaps of space so no need to be on top of other campers. Short walk through a bush track to the beach across the road. Hosts Vanessa & Chris were both friendly, easy going and helpful with tips for exploring the area. We stayed three nights and absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend! Big thanks to Vanessa and Chris for welcoming visitors to their wonderful property.

Got in late and was able to easily find our way to our camp. The paddock was nice and flat which made our pack up / down so much quicker and easier. The night sky was beautiful with no light pollution also !

Vanessa is a very friendly host, she made sure that we had everything that we needed and was very informative about the local area and what it had to offer based on our needs. The camping is perfect for access to the beach the town of Marlo and for us an excellent base for fishing along the coast. The camp is very spacious with lots of options, level ground open paddock or higher ground with ocean views. Perfect

Lots of space to spread out, great if you want to escape and get some peace and quiet. Host was friendly. You can pick your own spot and get a view of the ocean if you choose the higher ground. Is a bit of a walk to the beach, but there is an easier access a 1km drive down the road.

What a fabulous Hipcamp. Directions easy. Setup and choice of site easy. Well kept sites. Plenty of privacy and room. Close to Marlo and Cape Conran beaches. Virtually 1km from Brewery. We loved our stay of 3 nights. Next time will be much longer. Thanks Vanessa for sharing your piece of paradise!

We loved camping at Point Ricardo Views. Camp site was spacious and we felt a good distance from others. Great location for visiting the area or heading to the beach. We loved being able to hear the waves while chilling at our campsite. We wish we had been able to stay longer. Vanessa was an amazing host. Answered all our questions before and during our stay. Visited us to make sure everything was ok. Couldn’t have asked for a better host or stay! We look forward to being able to return in the future.

I took my campervan to Vanessa’s property and very happy with the campsite and how private we felt. We loved looking at the cows and our dogs didn’t mind it too. The beach access was great, and very easy to navigate too. Thank you for having us!

We stayed here for a night and enjoyed a beautiful sunset with our daughter. Close to so many activities, with the brewery a short walk down the road, coastal walks and beaches across the road. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore the Marlo / Cape Conran area.

Fantastic place to camp for a night or two. Camp site had ocean views. The property is near a brewery (you could walk there). Hosts were accomodating and gave us free rein of the paddock.

This is a great Hipcamp for self sufficient campers. There is lots of space and a choice of quality sites. Vanessa and Chris are down to earth and will be fantastic hosts. The location is just what we were looking for. Driving distance to the beaches and to stock up in Marlo. We’ll be back, for sure.
