Call me if you cant find the track, but most people have not had a problem. This walking access is steep, easier tracks can be driven to down the road.Or take a dip in the river further down the road, and explore the waterways, with many birds; black swans in the lakes next to camp, plus kangaroos, wombats, emu and deer. There is a boat ramp just down the road to explore the river system. Perfect for water sports, and with fish cleaning tables at the wharf. Go by boat to the Marlo Hotel from the wharf straight over the river.Orbost is 15 minutes drive and has a supermarket, hotel, bottle shop and other conveniences. We are open to accepting larger group bookings, but please discuss this with us first. The extensive gardens incorporate both design ideas that Edna Walling used, and Bill Mollison and David Holgren developed with their Permaculture principals. The gardens were established over a number of years to follow, aiming to be as sustainable as possible. Although the property has town water connected, for most of the year it runs totally on tank water. The wastewater is recycled and used on many of the gardens. We have organic orchard and vegetable gardens that use companion planting and successive crop rotation. Guests are free to spend time in the garden and pick some fruit and herbs for a snack to use in cooking a meal. Please be respectful and leave plenty for others to share.

As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house. With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb. Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Whilst sheep and cattle graze on one side of the fence, the wildlife grazing on "our" side includes echidnas, wombats, wallabies, possums, koalas, and is home to more than 30 species of birds identified so far. Tarwin Lower EcoStudio is not far out of town and the Tarwin River (4 kms), for boating, paddling and fishing. Slightly further afield is Andersen Inlet (great fishing, paddling, paddle boarding, boating, and shallow waters for very young children), Venus Bay Surf beaches, and Walkerville South bay beach (with boat ramp). Waratah Bay and Wilsons Promontory less than an hour's drive away. And that's just the water sports. The Great Southern Rail Trail is just up the road, at Koonwarra or Leongatha, and has a range of rides with varying degrees of challenge. Woodside Gardens offers private campsites for guests to choose from, located among natural bush of tea tree and gum trees. Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. We have a new toilet available for our campers but not showers Fire are allowed as long as the fire ban guidelines are followed. We have fire pits available for you to use free of charge. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. A small saw is recommended to cut up some of the bigger pieces. Just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent 90 mile beach and plenty of bush tracks to go walking or bike riding. The township of Woodside is just up the road has a service station/Post office/shop. 15 minutes to township of Yarram and 35mins to Sale city. Entrance to our property is off Stringy Bark Lane. Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

We had the most relaxing, enjoyable weekend tucked away in the cabin. Very private, warm and with the amenities you need: comfy bed, tidy bathroom, cooking supplies. We enjoyed both cool evenings and rain at night - which was pleasant thanks to the cosy wood burner - plus blue sky days which made for great exploring and spotting wildlife, also close to the inlet and Venus bay. We were welcomed with freshly harvested strawberries from Jo which was a delight!

Loved our semi private camp site overlooking the water. We were able to go for lovely beach walks, and ride our bikes on the beach at low tide. Our dog loved his time there too. The staff at the park were all very welcoming we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will be back for sure.

We recently returned to Nowa Nowa, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits! There was plenty to keep everyone entertained — from jumping off the jetty and stand-up paddle boarding to bird watching and tackling the BMX track. The kids (and the kids at heart) had an absolute blast. It’s a fantastic spot for families, and we love that our fur babies were welcome too. A great place to relax, explore, and make lasting memories!

Awesome views almost 360 degrees over surrounding sweeping hills and lovely tree lines of neighbouring properties. Nigel was welcoming and offered us to fill our caravan water tanks. How cool is that? Pure rain water too. Towards the east end of camp 8 I saw a long neck turtle furrowing. What a massive task for it to climb up the hill from the beautiful Forge Creek. We met his lovely partner, Meekatharra who was also very helpful while filling up h2O before we left. Will recommend this stay to other travellers. Best regards Nigel and Meeka. We camped on Wayne and Deb's farm over a busy long weekend on Phillip Island and it was wonderful to have such a quiet place to come back to, away from crowds. Close to Berry's beach for walks and rockpools, close to Phillip Island winery for drinks, food and music. A short drive to a local cafe and a great base for exploring the island. Wayne and Deb were friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Paddock was spacious and we had lots of space to spread out. The water tap close to our van was handy. A great stay and would recommend for a quiet getaway on the island.
