Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!

Tarwin Lower EcoStudio is not far out of town and the Tarwin River (4 kms), for boating, paddling and fishing. Slightly further afield is Andersen Inlet (great fishing, paddling, paddle boarding, boating, and shallow waters for very young children), Venus Bay Surf beaches, and Walkerville South bay beach (with boat ramp). Waratah Bay and Wilsons Promontory less than an hour's drive away. And that's just the water sports.
The Great Southern Rail Trail is just up the road, at Koonwarra or Leongatha, and has a range of rides with varying degrees of challenge.

Aireys inlet is a unique tiny town with so much to do. The local beach is iconic for surfing and swimming, the local creek is a favourite at the inlet for young kids to swim or for canoeists to have somewhere quiet to paddle. Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door.
If you have your own horse you can bring it along on holiday with you, we have paddocks available and there are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item!
The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, or just laze on the beach, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land.
The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne.
No need to stress if you don’t want to be near anyone else, this is a small setting so it’s very private and its only got one space to rent so that you have peace and quiet. If you do have friends and want to book a double space please just message me and I can open up another space for you.
I also have an option to add a pottery class for you, the cost is $50 a person for a two hour session.

The chicory kiln at the entrance is known as the “Bern Denham kiln”. Best Hipcamp experience yet. Victoria was such an amazing host and was so good with the kids. The property is so peaceful yet so alive with bird song. The lake house is very handy and well stocked with utensils and equipment and the pizza oven worked a treat. The kids loved the horses and the dogs. My daughter is missing Moose already.

This was an amazing spot to camp - secluded, great space, surrounded by lovely bushland - but still very accessible. Easy to set up - flat. Well thought out amenities. Fire pit in a lovely treed area - which even had a picnic table and swing for the kids. We took three small dogs - no problems - they were able to explore - but we felt they were safe and not annoying anyone. It is exactly what they promised in the promo! Would definitely come back

Fantastic spot, lots to do, great hosts. Will definitely be back. Kids enjoyed having access to the kayaks and bikes. Beautiful walking tracks, and river access.

Lovely to have a warm shower, toilet and kitchen to use at our leisure.
A very peaceful place to stay.
Pizza oven was fun to try out.
We enjoyed observing the bird life and sitting around a campfire at night.
A half hour drive had us on the surf coast and enjoyed walks and boogie boarding at Torquay.

The property was beautiful well mantained and a view that was out of this world.
Nigel anmd his family were ao helpful and took care of our needs.
I would recommend the Forge Creek to families or just the couple that need a quiet get away and we will be back.
Loved the farm animals as did my grandsons.

The Bend was stunning! Truely such a beautiful campsite - super secluded and lush and so much room to play with with. The toilet was well maintained and fully stocked and our hosts were lovely and accomodating. Highly recommend

This was our second stay at Mikes property over Easter. Mike was again a perfect host. The kids had a ball bike riding, play tennis and basketball as well as kayaking and fishing in the river. We got to relax by the camp fire and enjoy a much needed time away. Highly recommend.
