Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township.
Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space.
We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot.
There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood.
Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub (BYO firewood). And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property.
**PLEASE NOTE** - not suitable for medium-large caravans, and if towing, it's essential you are comfortable manouvering in tight spaces. Also note the bitumen road has signs advising against caravans (presumably because turning around can require reversing into a driveway).

There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature should you not want to camp.
The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.

Such a beautiful, grounding stay. The cottage was idyllic, peaceful and full of charm, we loved cosying up by the fire after exploring the property. Getting to bring our dogs made it even more special, and the animals were such a joy. Waking up to see deer running through the fields in the morning felt magical.
The hosts were also absolutely lovely, warm, attentive and easy to communicate with. A truly memorable girls’ trip that we’ll all be talking about for a long time, would definitely stay again ☺️

A beautiful place to stay 13 mins from Daylesford, Vic. Lovely sunsets, gorgeous walk through the bush, animals to visit, great campsite and a wonderful host, Anneke. We would definitely go back here if we are in the area.

Great little one night stop over at Green Falls. We camped with our Roof Top Tent Setup and didn’t need to do the full awning setup due to the undercover dining area available on site.
The bath was an added bonus however certain not super hot for those that like a very hot bath.
The sunrise in the morning was next level and I highly recommended getting up early to take it all in. The site is a working farm and many cows are scattered around in fenced off paddocks. Even got to have a chat with the Farmer in the morning who explained the workings of the farm.
Great spot highly recommended.

loved this beautiful and relaxing spot to stay! so cosy and enjoyed the hot tub on a cold night then by the fire! afterwards was perfect to enjoy a movie in bed with some peace and quiet. anne was very lovely and welcoming!
even got to explore some of her property down by the swimming hole and viewing spots!

We had a perfect two nights at this Fiona's spot. It was ideal for two dogs and little kids, as fenced off and private...with a few sheep passing through at the bottom of the lot.
Waking up to a pink and orange sunrise with one of the most wonderful camping views we have ever experienced was so peaceful. We loved the hot shower and wood fired bath.
Fiona was very responsive and easy going. We would love to come back.

Weekend Trip to Kilbirnie Peak Glamping
This glamping site is absolutely amazing! It’s everything we could have asked for and more! The tent setup was beautiful, the kitchen was great and the bathroom hadn’t everything you needed. The views were spectacular, it was so peaceful and the night sky was breathtaking! Susie was an amazing host and the food boxes allowed us to not have to leave the site and just enjoy the peace and quiet! We will absolutely be coming back again!!

What a hidden gem! We had the whole place to ourselves. The site is fenced which meant the dogs and kids could be free range without having to worry!
Anneke and Renee set up multiple play areas for the kids - slide, swings, sand pit and obstacle course. They also took us on a tour of the farm to feed the animals and collect eggs for our brekkie!
We had a huge storm roll in during our stay and Anneke was so kind to let us use the stables area to take shelter, equipped with games and a camp kitchen. It really was a lifesaver!
We cannot wait to return soon!

Judy & Chris were super friendly & helpful. Loved the hot tub. Our dogs were able to run in the beautiful paddock & swim in the dam. Highlight of the trip was the animals! Kids didn’t miss their devices as they were so busy patting the horses, goats & cows. We will definitely be back. Very peaceful & relaxing spot.

Had a great time at Yeramba Sunset Campsite. Anneke was a great host, showing us around the property including the converted stables which housed a table tennis table and a spa.
The site is about an acre of flat grassy and fenced area with pine trees bordering 2 sides to offer some shelter from the wind. The firepit is large and plenty of wood was provided in an area next to the acre with nice shady gum trees, which was also close to the dam.
Internet reception was also pretty good.
Will definitely come again.

I cannot recommend Kilbirnie Peak enough for a relaxing weekend away! We spent our first anniversary here - and between the assortment of lounging options, outdoor bath under the stars, epic sunrise/sunset, open air shower, fire pit, pizza oven, bird life, comfy tent, regal resident alpaca, we were spoiled for choice on ways to unwind. The midday checkout was also a treat too, no alarms necessary and more time to sit in the bath! The host Susie was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be back. ❤️🌅

My kids absolutely loved this place, and it was very comfortable for us even with our tent, as we don’t have a caravan.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely lovely people who made us feel right at home.
One of the standout features for us was how dog-friendly the place was. We brought our dog along and it made the experience even more special knowing they were just as welcome as we were.
The amenities were excellent — the toilet facilities were spotless, which is always a big plus when staying somewhere like this. You can really tell the hosts take pride in maintaining the property to a high standard.
