Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township.
Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space.
We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot.
There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood.
Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub (BYO firewood). And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property.

There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature should you not want to camp.
The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.

If the weathers cool, warm up at the fire pit or by the wood burning fire. There is limited solar power (enough for phones and laptops) and low flow water (enough to brush your teeth). Neither is guaranteed to be available. A wood stove heats the hut, boils the kettle and cooks your dinner; firewood is included. An open outdoor bathroom includes a sink, bath and drop toilet. Hot water is available but not promised. The hut is fenced and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
This property is suited to resourceful guests who are familiar with lighting fires, swinging an axe and understanding rural courtesies. Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township.
Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space.
We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot.
There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood.
Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub (BYO firewood). And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property.

There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature should you not want to camp.
The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.

We enjoyed camping at Yeramba Sunset Campsite. The farm gate had a code with an automatic sliding gate, giving an immediate sense of security. Anneke was very welcoming, meeting us at the campground entry, making us feel very at home. We had the whole campground to ourselves, it was sheltered on 2 sides with trees providing both shade & privacy. It was very peaceful with no road noise. It's lovely to go for a walk around the property to see the farm animals (goats, sheep, pony's lama & chickens) & gardens. Beyond the animals there walks to a dam & valley.
The location is very convenient to Daylesford & surrounds. We did a sour bread making course at a nearby farm in Blampied which made the location more perfect. We would definitely return & recommend staying here.

My husband and I had a beautiful night here with our Rottweiler Puppy who is healing from major surgery!! The bath with the rainwater was divine and it truly is a magic spot with everything you need plus more!! We shall most definitely return and it’s now on our go to spot in our travels!!

2 nights at Kilbirnie Peak Glamping
Highly recommend Kilbirnie Peak Glamping if you’re looking for a country getaway. 360 degree views of the country side, comfy bed, bath on the deck (with hot water), toilet and shower (it is glamping), pizza oven and BBQ, fire pit (when it’s not a total fire ban), lots of sheep and an alpaca 🦙, had yummy homemade cookies waiting for us, so many little touches (mozzie coils, usb fans, phone chargers, lovely toiletries, plenty of towels, speaker), just wasn’t a long enough stay ❤️
Susie is a fabulous host and great communication. Will definitely be back again.

I wouldn't write this review if I was living in Australia as I would want to keep this gem to myself; as we're heading back to the UK here goes...
We were in a 7.2m Maui Ultima Mercedes Sprinter LWB 2 berth which got up Wild Dog and Busty Road (both tarmac roads) and onto and off this site without difficulty.
The plot is designed for a single group/family and we had the whole site to ourselves. It's a field nestled into rolling hills with an absolutely stunning vista of valleys overlooking the ocean at Apollo Bay (which has a well stocked IGA)
There is a deck with bathtub and shower and hot running water (make sure you open the gas bottles to get this to work automatically and close them when you leave) We didn't fill up the hot tub (which runs on firewood you must bring yourselves)
The electric hookup requires a 30 m extension lead (we used Fiona's spare lead to piggyback to our lead and it reached us. Fiona responds immediately and was a great host btw)
We did try the trampoline which is mounted level to the ground but mostly for sunbathing!
There is a large level pitch carved into the gentle slope of this beautiful hillside field/plot just below the decking where we parked up. Two koalas were climbing eating & sleeping in the eucalyptus trees by the decking and the sheep were brave enough to venture up the hill but took off when they saw us.
We loved the site and even the day of 'Cornish mizzle' couldn't dampen our spirits.

I stayed at Earth's Edge in my teardrop camper and it was lovely. Wood fired bathing was amazing! I had the place to myself which was just perfect. With ducks, parrots, cows, goats, horses and kangaroos to watch, it's an animal lover's paradise. There is minimal shade from afternoon sun and the site is dusty so it pays to be prepared for that. There is also minimal mobile coverage but that's a plus for me. Chris and Judy were great communicators and just lovely. Will be back 😃

Absolutely beautiful site. Well curated with a wonderful pavilion set up that offers shelter and a gathering space for guests. Stunning views out across the paddocks and especially beautiful and clear skies for stargazing.
Barbeque and outdoor bath provided and a small toilet available. Not too far from coffees at the general store and a 12 minute drive into Mt Gambier.

A really beautiful spot and so easy to get to Warrnambool. The kids loved the cows and facilities were good. Would camp here again. I would say it’s better suited to camper van/caravan, but was fine with a tent also.

I haven’t stayed at little A yet. I’m rescheduling my stay as I couldn’t take my little kids and dog there in the 40degree plus heat especially once I realised we’d have to walk quite a way. Patrick has been very responsive to my messages and very understanding about my need to shorten/reschedule our stay. I’m looking forward to our stay.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful rural setting. We had the whole paddock to ourselves and Anneke's hosting was lovely. We got introductions to all the animals and were loaned a couple of kites which made my boys day! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we shall be returning.

We loved our stay at Fiona’s land! The view of the ocean and rolling hills was incredible. The hot outdoor shower was soo nice and really appreciated after a hike in the nearby Otways national park. There is an abundance of birdlife as well so don’t forget to take your binoculars 🙂
