A magical property with incredible views over the Strathbogie Ranges and Balmattum Hill. Only six km from town off a quiet, sealed, no-through road; it is a unique setting – 152 acres, privately located with creek frontage. We are completely off-grid. The 152ac allows people to wander the laneways and safely admire the animals with their babies. Interactive tours to meet and greet the animals can be arranged. Just text me to receive more information about these. We also offer Animal Assisted Therapy sessions - visit www.esbtherapy.com.au - for more information. It's a unique experience at Euroa Horse Park – a horse stud with Gypsy Cobs that can be ridden or driven, plus miniature Galloway cattle that love Arrowroot biscuits. There are several beautiful campsites with shade and shelter where you can switch off, sit back and just relax. There a portable toilet is available and pets are welcome (so long as they're kept under control). The property also has large, open areas which are available to hire for marquee weddings that can also include a rustic horse-drawn carriage. There is plenty to see and do in the local area, with bush walks, swimming holes, cafes, antiques, great pubs, and more. And we’re an easy drive to Mansfield, Swanpool, Benalla and Shepparton. We are open between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week. Prior arrangements need to be made with 48 hours notice for outside of these hours. We may suggest an alternative site location depending on your set up and our circumstances.

Hidden Valley House, Anakie

Hidden Valley House is nestled in Anakie, VIC, set within the scenic Brisbane National Ranges and only a 1-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. Taking into consideration our ethos around sustainability, the cabin is “off-grid” so solar powered with a composting toilet but with all the amenities you need. The cabin has spectacular views overlooking the valley with an abundance of wildlife and has a small creek and several caves which have formed over millions of years. As well as the cabin, we offer a camping area to larger groups that need overflow accommodation if the cabin is not big enough. This makes Hidden Valley House a fantastic option for large groups wanting to have all the comfort and amenities of the cabin, but experience the back-to-basic joy of camping in nature. Set on an 18-acre property at the start of the Brisbane National Ranges, it is home to koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, sugar gliders and an abundance of birds including eagles and kookaburras. Dunolly Camperoos

1 site · RV, Tent20 acres · Dunolly, VIC
Please read all the info before you book... This is an ideal spot for a quiet getaway or as a home base if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Dunolly or Dunolly itself. Early mornings and late evenings you may be lucky to receive visits from Kangaroos. Camp freely around the designated campfire and enjoy an amazing star-gazing experience (on clear nights). The water hole is good for yabbies and great for skipping stones. We swim in it occasionally but prefer to go to the lake. We cannot endorse any swimming or entering the water hole as it is a liability issue and we cannot be responsible for anyone who chooses to swim or enter the area of the waterhole. Dunolly town has a great bakery, a pub, and a supermarket. Lake Laanacoorie 15 mins drive. Great for fishing, boats, and swimming. ***Pit-toilet (portable) available: - There is a pit toilet available for camper use but it's recommended to have a portaloo and use the onsite dunny as an emergency only. ***Keep Clean. -We ask that you take any rubbish with you when you leave. We would appreciate it if you could leave the property as you found it on arrival. ***Warning. -Regular pest control in the area might be a threat to your pet so please ensure that your pet does not stray too far off the property without your supervision. Pest control is usually concentrated in the state forest behind the property. ***Fire Wood: - You can BYO firewood or collect from the roadside. The state forest at the rear may be helpful but please don't cut down any trees. There is often a fallen tree that you can chop up if you have a chainsaw but it'll be easier to find on the roadside or BYO. If I'm able to provide firewood it'll be stacked but this is not something to depend on as it just depends on availability and time that I may not have. ***More info. -The campsite is close to the water hole which means it's also at the front of the property and approx 120m from the main road. You will see a vehicle passing by maybe once per hour in the daytime.
