There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Amplified music is not allowed. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

Only minutes from town where you will find supplies, close to the local swimming pool and 10 minutes from a popular watering hole. Enjoy all that Bendigo and surrounding areas have to offer, check out the historic gold mining attractions and come home to rest in a tranquil setting amongst the trees, the birds and the stars. Our property is located in Heathcote just 30 minutes from Bendigo. The property has plenty of space for a variety of camping options that will suit your needs. We are a 20 minute drive from Lake Eppalock which is a great spot for those who love their fishing, boating and swimming. We are 10 minutes from the O'Keefe Trail which is perfect for those who like to explore by bike or by foot. There are a variety of great wineries and cellar doors nearby for you to explore, most of who sell their own local produce. Local pub and a variety of cafes are all within a 15 minutes drive. We are also close to 4WD and motorbike tracks, campers are not permitted to ride motorbikes on the property. Campfires are permitted out of the fireban season, please check the CFA website to be up to date with any restrictions at the time of your stay. Campers must use the fire drum available to them. The shelter area also an old BBQ that you are welcome to use. Please take all waste with you and leave the site as you found it.

There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. I spent two days exploring the property and taking some scenic photographs of some of my artworks (paintings). Such a beautiful spot with an abundance of wildlife and epic nature. I couldn't recommend this site enough, my personal favorite site is Creek Flat, check it out you wont be disappointing.

Everything was perfect. Mark's communication was responsive and when we got to site yhe area was flat, large and easy to set up our caravan. The site was spotless. That is the boring detail stuff out of the way, now to the superlatives. From our site we could see a billabong like part of the creek and it eas lovely to watch the farm animals, birds and insects drop in for a drink. Sitting on the bank fishing was relaxing and rewarding (with some decent bites). The sun rose over the creek, paddock and quarry and was just gorgeous. Because it was mid week Mark said I could check out the other sites (which I did-planning a return visit). The dogs loved the open spaces snd paddling in the creek. I couldn't have asked more a peaceful place for a pre Christmas break from the crazy. Thank you Mark for sharing your beautiful property.

The 2WD-accessible camping spot facing the dam is easy to reach. With only one campsite available, it's nice knowing you won’t have other groups right next to you. We didn’t get to use the canoe, but it’s there for guests to enjoy. You’ll definitely experience some wildlife during your stay. We had a very busy but respectful kookaburra keeping us company the whole time, and plenty of happy wallabies and kangaroos hopping around. In warmer weather, if you go for a bushwalk, be mindful of snakes, and you may also see flying termites arriving at sunset. Karen and David were very welcoming. Lalgambook Retreat is the perfect spot to enjoy a true camping experience while still having easy access to a hot shower and a clean flushable toilet just a short walk away.

As we drove onto the property, I instantly felt like I could breathe — it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Creek Flat site, which was perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The host was very friendly and happily answered all our questions, which made the stay even easier. The property is large, with plenty of wildlife and farm animals wandering around, adding to the charm. We only stayed for two nights but truly wished we could have stayed longer.

A spectacular place to stay. From lying in bed in the large tent watching the sheep and birds, cooking over the open fire, and enjoying the breeze while in the outdoor bath, we enjoyed every moment of it. Greeted warmly by the host on arrival. Adequate amenities provided for cooking and cleaning, and plenty of blankets to stay warm. Easy to buy firewood from the hosts - we let them know beforehand, and the firewood already at our campsite ready to use. We also really enjoyed the short hike up the hills to be greeted with amazing views. Would highly recommend, and hope we can come here again soon.

There is a adjoining bathroom (accessible from outside) with toilet, vanity and HOT shower. (BYO towels). Please note the bathroom may be shared with my Glamping site guests. (just one other site) The cabin sleeps 3 and you can also bring a tent as well.. Please note this is rustic accommodation and the cabin doesn’t have 240v power only 12v LED lighting and an esky is also provided. Located just 5 mins to local reservoir which is a great place to swim, fish or paddle. Also the popular Red Hill Pub and gold prospecting areas are just up the road and only 10 minutes to historic Castlemaine. Firewood available $30per barrow load. Please message me though the site. The property is defined by an ancient water course that cuts a 1km ravine through the property.
