Very relaxing stay in a beautiful rural setting. We had the whole paddock to ourselves and Anneke's hosting was lovely. We got introductions to all the animals and were loaned a couple of kites which made my boys day! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we shall be returning.

Wendy provides useful resources such as a water, an abundance of firewood and a dumping ground for the toilet. If you're looking for somewhere private with no one else in sight, and are looking for complete silence with the sound of nature, then this place is for you. A flat area surrounded by nearby kangaroos and local birdlife to watch. And the stars at night were magnificent. I was in awe with the amount of stars that were visible at night. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing land Wendy, and offering such an abundance of resources, it was so helpful during our stay.

We had a great time camping at Amherst Farm. We had the site to ourselves, in a paddock looking out to the State Forest. There was ample space and our dog loved running around. We hired the metal detector for the day which was a bit of fun too.
Beautiful spot and Wendy is super welcoming and lovely.

Such a great private site in a wonderful bush setting. The wildlife was well worth the trekking through trees, especially the echidnas, however the wombats proved to elusive on this visit. We’ll need to return to find them next time.

Wendy was a lovely host and we enjoyed our one night stop over at her place. The campsite is flat and shaded and well maintained. Perfect for what we needed. While we didn't use the facilities, like the firepit, because we were only staying one night, it was lovely to have them.

Scrolling the hipcamp app we stumbled across Wendy’s camp site and the single campsite & reviews hooked us in and wow what a fantastic spot. It doesn’t matter where you stay - a Hipcamp, an air bnb or a 5 star hotel it’s always the little extra things that make it stand out and make your stay somewhere you want to return. We felt this at Wendy’s -

Everything was just easy, we drove out feeling recharged, relaxed and reconnected with nature.

My family stayed here over the cup weekend. We had a great time with the kids loving feeding the animals and fishing in the dam. The camp area was very clean with fire pit and a bin plus a water tap. The host Anneke was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and kind. With only a short drive into Daylesford the location was great. Highly recommend and we will be back.

We had a great weekend camping at the sunset camp site and there was lots of room on nice grass. Me, my girlfriend and dogs had lots of fun patting and feeding the goats and ponies and went for a walk. Anneke was very helpful and cared a lot about her farm and was very welcoming.

We stayed a few nights and as we left my wife commented that she thought it was the best Hipcamp property we've ever stayed at.
The simple fact that Ginette has kept it as a single booking site was appreciated and made it perfect.
Loads of options regarding where to camp in a nice large cleared area, either in the open or by the shade. The outlook over the lake/dam was excellent. It was quiet and peaceful. A firepit and some wood was provided and there's plenty of fallen timber to collect on the property.
Only fair that fires aren't permitted over the warmer months.
Highly recommend a visit !

We had a lovely time at Amherst farm camp. We were 3 families and had the place fully yo ourselves, it was amazing to have so much privacy and the camping space was fantastic. It The paddock was absolutely huge and meant kids and adults had endless space for any activity. The star gazing at night was perfect, whilst sitting around the fire pit provided by Wendy. It was so peaceful with only the nosie of the wildlife to go with the fire.
Wendy was a great host, very accommodating and quick to reply . She kindly gave our kids digging tools, ao they could search for gold, they loved it. Wendy was happy to help or leave you to enjoy the beautiful space. It was a great place to base yourself to go and explore.
Would highly recommend, great for groups big and small.

Our extended family all got together for an incredible camping experience with Anneke’s absolutely glorious property in Blampied. The camping paddock is impeccable and safely fenced so we could let our dogs (& kids!) race around like lunatics while we were at our camp site.
There was bale-leaping and tree-climbing… incredible campfires, smore-making and singalongs… worm-hunting and fishing in the dam… bush-walking and hut-building with a side of “bush golf” down in the beautiful uncleared bushland… feeding and patting miniature ponies and boats and sheep and the cheekiest young alpaca… egg collecting and chook-petting…. it truely was a heavenly 4 nights of wonderful fun. Every single one of us left happily exhausted with over-flowing cups.
Anneke is a beautiful and warmly welcoming host who absolutely went above and aboard to ensure everyone was comfortable and had anything and everything they needed…. There was a windy day and out she came with kites for the kids to fly!
Our family decided on the very first night that we would make this an annual event at Anneke’s property - it was just such a privilege to stay somewhere so beautifully, and lovingly maintained…. With so much at our doorstep.
