Ellesmere Park Farm Stay was inspired by our trip following the stock routes of NSW by horse drawn vehicles. Many people commented they would love to do that, which gave us the idea of sharing our amazing journey with others.
Our camping area is a lot more comfortable than we endured with a well set up camp kitchen, green lawns and friendly animals all in one area. Our mascot, "Lucky lamb", is an attraction all of her own and who else can say "Kevin bacon" lives here!
Our farm stay offers a
large
grassed camping area with camp kitchen.
We are located within easy driving distance of Greens lake and the Waranga basin for fishing, boating and swimming activities and only 15km from Rushworth and the historic Whroo township.
Campers are welcome to join us as we feed the animals.
Fires and pets allowed (read Listing rules).
There is only one toilet and one shower available, it is recommended that campers are self sufficient

Such a great private site in a wonderful bush setting. The wildlife was well worth the trekking through trees, especially the echidnas, however the wombats proved to elusive on this visit. We’ll need to return to find them next time.

Lovely spot, surrounded by trees filled with birds and kangaroos hopping by the creek. Pet pony who loves a pay.
Generous campfire and wood offering.
Toilet a separate building off the house (50mtr walk).
Easy bike rides and access to walking trails.
Some might consider it close to house, essentially a large (pretty) backyard.
You will hear neighbors dogs barking. Owner had some music playing with friends (Sat night) but promptly turned off when kids bedtime rolled around.

We had such a wonderful camping trip here. The place is spacious, really well kept, and full of life — we saw a peacock roaming around, lots of horses and other animals, and flowers everywhere you look. It felt peaceful and beautiful.
The facilities were fine for what we needed, and the host was just lovely — so friendly and easy to chat with, which made the experience even better.
We came with friends and we honestly had the best time. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy nature, and just switch off for a while. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a memorable camping experience.

We had a lovely two-night stay at Ellesmere Park Farm Stay. The host was very friendly and thoughtful, we originally booked site 8, but she kindly offered us site 1 instead as it was more sheltered during a stormy, windy night. We really enjoyed our time here with our puppy, surrounded by ponies, goats, horses, and even a sweet little kitten who joined us by the campfire one evening. The facilities (kitchen, toilets, and showers) were convenient and well-considered, and the location made it easy to drive to the lakes. A peaceful and fun farm stay experience!

We had a wonderful two night stay at The Ridge. The clear night allowed the amazing night sky with hundreds of stars shine through as we toasted marshmallows in the fire. In the morning we woke to kangaroos near by and we walked down to the dam to eat our breakfast. As Daylesford was just a short drive we went into town to explore and then returned to the peace and quiet. Wendy communicated well and made the stay super easy.
Look forward to another weekend getaway.

This was the perfect get away on a quiet bush property but still close to many of the things we love in this region. The sun rises were amazing and we enjoyed the visits from the White Wing Choughs every morning as they pecked and hopped through our campsite. Highly recommended and we expect to be back again.

I loved camping at The Ridge. Its was super quiet and peaceful. Lots of visits from Kangaroos. Beautiful spot to watch the fire and relax. Highly recommended. Wendy was awesome to communicate with, fast response and very friendly. She met me at the gate and took me to the spot, where there was plenty of firewood ready for me to camp. I will be back!
