Fantastic spot along the Campaspe River! Bring your canoes, kayaks, SUPs and fishing rods. Kids and dog friendly. Camp sites were clean and flat and even toilets on site. Thank you Peta for being an amazing host! Communication was spot on and we will sure be back.

Such a great private site in a wonderful bush setting. The wildlife was well worth the trekking through trees, especially the echidnas, however the wombats proved to elusive on this visit. We’ll need to return to find them next time.

Weekend Trip to Yeramba Sunset Camp Site

My family stayed here over the cup weekend. We had a great time with the kids loving feeding the animals and fishing in the dam. The camp area was very clean with fire pit and a bin plus a water tap. The host Anneke was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and kind. With only a short drive into Daylesford the location was great. Highly recommend and we will be back.

We had a great weekend camping at the sunset camp site and there was lots of room on nice grass. Me, my girlfriend and dogs had lots of fun patting and feeding the goats and ponies and went for a walk. Anneke was very helpful and cared a lot about her farm and was very welcoming. Thanks Angus

We loved Emu Flat, quiet and peaceful with abundant birdlife. For how little rain there has been the creek was flush with flowing clear water. Access to the creek was excellent with a flat river-gravel beach. Also enough water for a kayak paddle. This is a magic spot managed by lovely people, Adam and Sarah are amazing Hosts. A highly recommended Hipcamp, this property will not disappoint. ... get on it!!

Sarah and Adam's site is a wonderful place to stay! The both of them are very helpful, hospitable and accommodative to ensure our stay was as best as it could be! I spoke to Sarah ahead of my booking to ask questions and get more information and she was very patient and helpful. The site itself is a serene open field with the nearby canola field as a distant natural backdrop! Would highly recommend staying here and will hope to be back again!

Our extended family all got together for an incredible camping experience with Anneke’s absolutely glorious property in Blampied. The camping paddock is impeccable and safely fenced so we could let our dogs (& kids!) race around like lunatics while we were at our camp site. There was bale-leaping and tree-climbing… incredible campfires, smore-making and singalongs… worm-hunting and fishing in the dam… bush-walking and hut-building with a side of “bush golf” down in the beautiful uncleared bushland… feeding and patting miniature ponies and boats and sheep and the cheekiest young alpaca… egg collecting and chook-petting…. it truely was a heavenly 4 nights of wonderful fun. Every single one of us left happily exhausted with over-flowing cups. Anneke is a beautiful and warmly welcoming host who absolutely went above and aboard to ensure everyone was comfortable and had anything and everything they needed…. There was a windy day and out she came with kites for the kids to fly! Our family decided on the very first night that we would make this an annual event at Anneke’s property - it was just such a privilege to stay somewhere so beautifully, and lovingly maintained…. With so much at our doorstep. Thank you for making our stay so magical and memorable for kids & adults alike Anneke! xx

I will be back to try out the other sites on offer at Sheep Dip Hill. The care and communication from the Host's was exemplary, with rough weather on the horizon, Sarah messaged me saying there is another site with more shelter if I chose. I also had a couple of false starts, these were just taken in Sarah's stride. Very organised, capable and caring hosts are Sarah and Adam, their space I highly recommended as a camping destination. This pair are Salt of the Earth people.

They took us to a lesser used spot due to recent wet weather. Very private with great views of the reservoir and countryside. Joyces Creek is very central to the Goldfields and Spa districts with Maryborough, Daylesford and Castlemaine all within 30mins Enjoyed our stay immensely and our hosts very super friendly, accommodating and always quick to reply to enquiries. Our 2x small dogs also gave it their paw of approval. Cheers to Adam & Sarah

We had a wonderful two night stay at The Ridge. The clear night allowed the amazing night sky with hundreds of stars shine through as we toasted marshmallows in the fire. In the morning we woke to kangaroos near by and we walked down to the dam to eat our breakfast. As Daylesford was just a short drive we went into town to explore and then returned to the peace and quiet. Wendy communicated well and made the stay super easy. Look forward to another weekend getaway.

This was the perfect get away on a quiet bush property but still close to many of the things we love in this region. The sun rises were amazing and we enjoyed the visits from the White Wing Choughs every morning as they pecked and hopped through our campsite. Highly recommended and we expect to be back again.

We loved camping at Emu flat! It was a perfect area for the camper trailers as the ground was flat. There so much space around us and there were no other campers in sight, just lovely views of the property around us. It was near a grove of beautiful shady trees near the river and protected from the wind. Our grandkids enjoyed exploring the space and found many treasured stones, sticks and rocks to remind them of a great holiday on the farm and discovery the surrounding area!! Staying here reminded us of how important it is to value the hard work of our sheep property owners and other farmers. Thanks for having us stay and would love to come back.

I loved camping at The Ridge. Its was super quiet and peaceful. Lots of visits from Kangaroos. Beautiful spot to watch the fire and relax. Highly recommended. Wendy was awesome to communicate with, fast response and very friendly. She met me at the gate and took me to the spot, where there was plenty of firewood ready for me to camp. I will be back!
