For those wanting pure relaxation, meditation, and soul grounding. We can personally show you some tremendous places on the farm to go within. Pure solace is something that many take for granted. Use our pyramid to draw in Quantum/etheric energy, go to the top of our crystal hill and feel the energies. There is so much to be thankful for when you can release in these spaces. Alternatively sit amongst the cows and feel their energy surround you as their curious nature brings them in closer and closer until they relax around you. Alternatively if you want to chill with a beer on the river bank and try for some bass, or watch the eastern water dragons play in the sun and water, then that’s a great way to unwind, or soak up the sun rays as it drops below the horizon on the crystal hill or rolling flood plains. A personal favourite of a campfire and a few drinks with the stars is a great way to unwind when you have so much space and privacy. The sites are located next to our rental lodge where we sometimes do retreats, or holiday let it as well. The privacy is wonderful if that's what you are looking for. A walk each morning from one end of the farm where you will stay to the other and back is a leisurely 2kms so maybe that is your morning start, but walk the lanes and check the fences and cows while you're at it please 🙂, ticks a job for us while your relaxing. Want to learn about the history of the area? Well a session with us will teach you everything didn't know about the Dargo High Plains, the mountain cattlemen of the high country and much more. Take advantage of your time to enjoy the history of the area and the wonderful past times enjoyed. What is available off farm? Number one, the pub with great counter meals is across the river, 5kms away. Lindenow Farmers Hotel is iconic in its design and history, the reputed Lindenow Long Paddock Cafe is also a few hundred metres from the pub, and the Post Office and Store have all your essentials. Need a few more things? Bairnsdale is 24kms away from the farm and offers all you need. Lakes Entrance is about 40 mins for a day out on the beach. Paynesville around 30 mins. If you want to venture up into the mountains then why not go through Dargo just 45 mins and up onto Mt Hotham (Summer only) via the Dargo High Plains. It’s a great track and on occasions I take people up for a guided tour and secret camp spots on my yearly run up there for my own relax time. East Gippsland in general is a wonderful region to stop and relax during all seasons but especially summer with the water activities available, the camping in the high country, and the markets that abound the area. Absolutely loved the complete privacy of Christine's camp site. It's a great spot with a wide open mown grass area and easy access to the river. Christine was a lovely host and showed us where we could collect some wood, there is a big fire drum for a worry free fire. I would recommend for river users bringing some water shoes. It's a rocky river, which means it's clean and clear, but a bit rough on the feet. River shoes made it easy though. We had a great time exploring the scenic nature reserve nearby as well. With some easy 4wd access to some beautiful views. Overall a fantastic camping spot. We had a great time and so will you.

Weekend Trip to Paradise Valley Campground

Excellent facility. Beautiful views around. A really nice place to go especially in Summer. No mobile network connection for Telstra users and barely any signal for Optus users, which is not a bad thing at all.

3 nights at RiverOak Camping Heyfield - Gippsland Victoria

Hands down one of the best camp sites we’ve been to. It was so spacious and had a play area for the kids which was a big hit. Toilet and bathroom facilities were super clean and very well maintained Amanda and Steve were both very accomodating and were very quick on the the communication We will definitely be back again one day.

2 nights at Blackwood Arm Camping

The host was very helpful. The outlook over the winding river was amazing, ducks, and swans were always present on the river. The area is well looked and we had the area to ourselves so was very private. This location was only 15 minutes from Lakes Entrance and only 5 minutes from the Wyanga Winery. The winery was an added bonus, we walked there in 30 minutes, great wines and fantastic food

Beautiful clean park. Facilities are clean, laundry,toilets and showers. Can camp close to the river. Gets busy and unpowered sites are self allocated. We were fine but the people next door had a new group camp that close that had to move their swag . Unfortunately some people have no respect or regard for personal space ! Can imagine would be crazy busy at Christmas/January holidays.

Paradise Valley was absolutely amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the camp ground was very plush. The facilities are very clean and well taken care of. The adorable sheep are an added bonus. It is a great camp ground for everyone, no matter the size of the group.

Weekend Trip to Blackwood Arm Camping

A peaceful, beautiful spot. We had it all to ourselves which was lovely. We loved exploring and looking for wombat burrows and echidnas with the kids. Be prepared - We had to chock our 21’6 van to get it level and the ground is a bit soft so it kept settling and going slightly out of level again. There were also a lot of flies!

Weekend Trip to Nowa Nowa Lakeside Farmlet.

We recently returned to Nowa Nowa, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits! There was plenty to keep everyone entertained — from jumping off the jetty and stand-up paddle boarding to bird watching and tackling the BMX track. The kids (and the kids at heart) had an absolute blast. It’s a fantastic spot for families, and we love that our fur babies were welcome too. A great place to relax, explore, and make lasting memories!

3 nights at Forge Creek Farm Stay

Awesome views almost 360 degrees over surrounding sweeping hills and lovely tree lines of neighbouring properties. Nigel was welcoming and offered us to fill our caravan water tanks. How cool is that? Pure rain water too. Towards the east end of camp 8 I saw a long neck turtle furrowing. What a massive task for it to climb up the hill from the beautiful Forge Creek. We met his lovely partner, Meekatharra who was also very helpful while filling up h2O before we left. Will recommend this stay to other travellers. Best regards Nigel and Meeka. (Pete and Dee from WA)
