Our converted country barn is set in it's own English country courtyard garden, away from the main house, so very private and peaceful. The sounds of the frogs send you to sleep at night and you have a choice of starting your mornings with a locally produced breakfast basket containing our own fresh eggs, and local bread and honey. Perfect for couples, but there is also a fold out single bed.

Weekend Trip to Sale Caravan Park

Amazing whole team. We had forgotten our tent rods and with was late the guy at the reception offered us to stay in a brand new cabin for free for the night (7 boys we were) the next day they offered us a cabin of 2 at fair prices. Facilities are new and clean and most importantly them is fantastic. One improvement would be to add a bit more ventilation in the main male toilets, someone relieved themselves and it took a while till the smell left. Overall would stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Echo Beach Tourist Park

Had a great stay on the grassy patch at Echo Beach Tourist Park. Plenty of space, nice and flat, and everything was well maintained. All the amenities were clean and easy to access, which made the stay super comfortable. The location is a big plus, close to the Lake Entrance and the main strip, with heaps of activities, shops and food options all within easy walking distance. Perfect if you want to park up and not have to drive everywhere. Overall, a relaxed and convenient spot with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would happily stay again.

Excellent camping spot! Despite being close to the road it’s very quiet and peaceful. We thought it had some of the best amenities at a campground (kitchen, laundry, clean bathrooms/showers and a game room) we’ve ever seen and staff is very helpful/friendly.

We were fine but the people next door had a new group camp that close that had to move their swag . Unfortunately some people have no respect or regard for personal space ! Can imagine would be crazy busy at Christmas/January holidays.

Great setup and it's convenient to the little children and all families. It's close to bike tracks, fishing spots, bistro and general store. The landscape is very beautiful and well maintained and situated close to a river on a hill. We loved our experience there and plan to go back. We recommend this camp site to anyone thinking of trying it out. Not forgetting the top service from care-takers and Munster (dog) were absolute fantastic and they would attend to anything big or small to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at Bushland Caravan Park, and it was a fantastic camping experience! The park itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful bushland — perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special shoutout goes to Doug, the site manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to help us set up our tent (which definitely saved us some time and stress!) and even sorted us out with firewood so we could enjoy a cozy campfire in the evening. His friendly attitude and genuine willingness to help made a big difference and really added to the positive experience. Highly recommend Bushland Caravan Park — especially thanks to Doug’s hospitality and the great atmosphere around the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved the beautiful green sweeping hills the cliff faces of the valley the quiet restfulness of the area. We had a site that over looked the Macalister river. You could fish, take a leisurely walk, feed the animals on the farm, BBQ, picnic, swim, float on inflatables leisurely down the river, relax and read a book, play a game of cricket, kick a footy, ride your bike or just relax and watch the birds or sheep wondering around the farmland. There are fire drums available and you can buy bags of fire wood, so toasting marshmallows is another option. Clean showers and toilets. No playground. Dogs are welcome and a off leash area is available. Minimal powered sites, and cabins, but lots of great non powered sites.

Weekend Trip to Echo Beach Tourist Park

We recently stayed at this campsite and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent—close to local attractions, yet quiet enough to feel like a proper getaway in nature. The bathrooms were impressively clean and well-maintained, which made our stay so much more comfortable. We also really appreciated the fridge facilities on site, as it made storing food and drinks convenient and stress-free. The combination of a great setting, thoughtful amenities, and high cleanliness standards makes this campsite a place we’d happily return to and recommend to others.
