Selected an un powered site, camp kitchen has all you need even if you don't have an esky or cooking supplies. It has saucepans, hot plates, air fryer, microwave, 2 fridge's, toaster, kettles and more.

Nice caravan park on the banks of the Mitchell River Good sized sites many of which are shady There is a fire pit and a pizza oven in the BBQ area Amenities are clean and the entire place is tidy

We stayed at the park on 5-8th Dec Certainly not the biggest park but definitely up there as one of the best that l have stayed at It caters for everyone from couples to families It has everything you could ask for when travelling in your van even down to a amazing area to sit and have a glass of wine waiting for your pizza that you have made to cook in the park pizza oven A big thank you to Ben in reception his help and knowledge of the area were fantastic This caravan park could certainly teach bigger and overpriced caravan parks how it’s done Wendy

Only stayed one night to break up a trip and the staff where so accommodating and the facilities and park is lovely we will be coming back for a longer stay for sure - absolute bonus for kids is the pool and across the road a giant all abilities playground - thanks for having us

We had a stop over here in our camper for 1 night and loved it. Booked a powered site, and they put us right near the kids swing set which was perfect as we are travelling with our 2yo granddaughter. People are friendly and welcoming, facilities are amazing, very clean, even had a bath for the little one ❤️ Highly recommend

We stayed here for just one night. They have a excellent dog run yard with toys. There are bath mats in the amenities, that for me is 5 star. The park is lovely kept with a nice big fire pit for everyone to enjoy.

Holiday Unit
Set right on the beautiful banks of the Mitchell River, this park delivers relaxation with a view. We loved the easy access to the river-walk and cycle track, perfect for stretching the legs and soaking up the scenery. Tracey and Peter were wonderfully welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we checked in. The facilities tick all the important boxes: swimming pool for a refreshing dip, well-maintained BBQ areas and camp kitchen, a handy laundry, and even jetty access to embrace riverside life. The grounds are magnificently maintained (particularly the fairy lights on the huge tree near reception). The amenities block was impressively clean, and having a bath mat provided was such a thoughtful touch. Although the park sits on a main road, we were pleasantly surprised that traffic noise wasn’t an issue at all. It still felt peaceful and relaxing, especially by the river. All up, a friendly and comfortable stay in a lovely location. We’d happily return for another riverside getaway!

Beautiful clean public showers. Beautiful pool area. Lovely family friendly park. Gets quiet packed over the holiday season . We took caravan we always book here when coming to bairnsdale . Friendly staff . Just awsome spot to spend the holidays with the family .

Cabin (No Ensuite)
Always a pleasurable stay at NRMA Bairnsdale with Managers Pete and Tracey. They are the most informative hosts with many activities for the kids dotted around the park. Music entertainment and food vans over the busy times. Always a smile and a friendly hello. Support staff are great wirh special mention for Cathy, amenities are very clean. The park has a well polished finish to it. Pete is always doing something. Our third stay there and will stay again. Close walk to Bairnsdale CBD for everything you might need. Short drive to popular beach resorts and great bike riding tracks.

Do not book to stay here - it is not the campsite that is sold on the photos, complete false advertising so disappointed :( we have been trying to reach out but can’t get in touch with anyone at hipcamp so hopefully this review means no one will make the same mistake as us.

Nice places and very clean amenities. The location is very close to the city of Bairnsdale, easy reachable by feet. Very friendly stuff and beautiful trees with many Cockatoos around the area. We spent a very nice time there.

Lovely shower, laundry, and toilet block, felt very safe. Not particularly private but nice spot to sit by the river just outside of camp.
