The property has been created to host retreats centred around nature immersion, movement and connection (i.e yoga, bodywork, dance, meditation, mindfuness, embodiment practices etc) and in the 'off season' it's available to host hipcampers! The space has been designed to host large groups, so there are full facilities available to use, including 3 x compost toilets, a fully equipped communal kitchen with all plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, pots and pans, gas cookers and fresh running hot and cold water. There is also an undercover deck/hangout area, a shower block with 5 hot showers, and a wood-fired cedar barrel hot tub (refer to the extras section for hot tub use!). There are walking tracks throughout the property, including a track that leads directly to the beach (15 min walk) and another to our on-site fresh water creek for plunging in! We are surrounded by native wildlife and the property blooms with native Kunzea bushes, wattles, native cherries and various varieties of eucalyptus. There is a beautiful large fresh water river and waterhole just down the road (15 minute walk, or 2 minute drive), and aside from the surf beach down the front, we are also only a 10-15 minute drive from a bunch of other beautiful and popular surf beaches on the east coast. The whole area is great for fishing, boating, surfing, bike riding, walking and short hikes. We are a 10 minute drive from Falmouth, a 25 minute drive from the St Helens mountain bike trails, a 30 minute drive from Bicheno and Douglas Apsley National Park, a 45 minute drive from the infamous Bay of Fires and an hours drive from the Freycinet National Park. We only open up 5 sites at a time, to ensure everyone has plenty of space and a beautiful experience on the land. Our property runs beef and cultivates crops alongside the Ringarooma river, North East Tasmania. We often host mountain bike riders here to access the world-class trails at Derby. Nearby are many marked mountain trails, and numerous falls. Skiing is 1hr away in the winter. Our camping site is alongside cattle grazing paddocks and the Ringarooma river, and we offer one site only, to one group at a time, so it's yours exclusively. A toilet is available nearby. A gravel track descends to the river with a short steep bank preceding the flats. When the track reaches the river the camping site is just through the gate on the right. One gate and two wire gates may require opening on the way and these gates need to be closed again to prevent cattle from wandering. Electrical fencing is in use and alive - please be careful! Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, $15. I can supply fresh sourdough loaves $6 also fresh eggs $3perhalf doz, and fresh cows milk most of the year $5/2L. Fly fish for trout and cook over the coals for a treat. Welcome to bring your dog along, but please keep them under control.

For the rest of the description, please see below Deep Glen is a beautiful, quiet 5 acre property at Eaglehawk Neck, gateway to the stunning Tasman Peninsula. Hiking, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving are all at your doorstep, not to mention the famous Three Capes Track and the Port Arthur Historic site just a short drive away. If you want to see the coast shown in these photos, both the Tasman Island Cruise and Wild Ocean Tasmania offer excellent trips Bookings are for two adults; children under 16 are free. It may be possible for larger groups to occupy one site - please enquire before booking. As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs. There are no facilities on the block apart from a long drop dunny (byo paper) and a small supply of non-potable water so you will need to be self-sufficient though there are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van. Very private valley nestled between two mountainous sandstone ranges. 3.5 kilometers from Colebrook, via Yarlington road. The property in total size is 37 hectares half of which is gently undulating grassland slopes. These slopes lead to the banks of the beautiful Iles Creek which runs nearly all year round. The western range across the creek includes numerous caves within comfortable walking distance. The highest cave provides magnificent views to the East coast. Camping options include non-designated sites either side of the creek under the huge black-wood trees, restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles during winter and spring months, with a secluded site with year-round access for all vehicles. At the entrance sits the first of the designated sites, the rest are accessed via the meandering road down 300 or so meters to the camping ground entrance for the other two sites. The last 500-700 meters of Yarlington road leading to the entrance is quite steep. Some two wheel drive vehicles towing large vans have found this challenging, while others haven't. The two main camping areas now have a 'bush loo' in each site. if you wish to use these please use your own paper. Also, now for camper convenience the whole area has access to the campers' lounge and resource shelter. It contains First Aid and snake bite first aid kits. Water is available here. Welcome to Paradise Lagoon! Here you can stay 30 metres back from the foreshore of Pelican Bay. Unfortunately you cannot see the beautiful bay view from the campsite. You can simply walk 30 metres and take your chairs and esky and spend the day marveling at the views and bird life, or even grab the kayak and paddleboard for some healthy fun . Pelican Bay is a saltwater tidal lagoon, it's very shallow water for a long way, then gets deep a fair way out. The water is too shallow for Boats , but there is a boat ramp nearby. There is also an undercover deck/hangout area, a shower block with 5 hot showers, and a wood-fired cedar barrel hot tub (refer to the extras section for hot tub use!). There are walking tracks throughout the property, including a track that leads directly to the beach (15 min walk) and another to our on-site fresh water creek for plunging in! We are surrounded by native wildlife and the property blooms with native Kunzea bushes, wattles, native cherries and various varieties of eucalyptus. There is a beautiful large fresh water river and waterhole just down the road (15 minute walk, or 2 minute drive), and aside from the surf beach down the front, we are also only a 10-15 minute drive from a bunch of other beautiful and popular surf beaches on the east coast. The whole area is great for fishing, boating, surfing, bike riding, walking and short hikes. We are a 10 minute drive from Falmouth, a 25 minute drive from the St Helens mountain bike trails, a 30 minute drive from Bicheno and Douglas Apsley National Park, a 45 minute drive from the infamous Bay of Fires and an hours drive from the Freycinet National Park. We only open up 5 sites at a time, to ensure everyone has plenty of space and a beautiful experience on the land. Our property runs beef and cultivates crops alongside the Ringarooma river, North East Tasmania. We often host mountain bike riders here to access the world-class trails at Derby. Nearby are many marked mountain trails, and numerous falls. Skiing is 1hr away in the winter. Our camping site is alongside cattle grazing paddocks and the Ringarooma river, and we offer one site only, to one group at a time, so it's yours exclusively. A toilet is available nearby. A gravel track descends to the river with a short steep bank preceding the flats. When the track reaches the river the camping site is just through the gate on the right. One gate and two wire gates may require opening on the way and these gates need to be closed again to prevent cattle from wandering. Electrical fencing is in use and alive - please be careful! Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, $15. I can supply fresh sourdough loaves $6 also fresh eggs $3perhalf doz, and fresh cows milk most of the year $5/2L. Hiking, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving are all at your doorstep, not to mention the famous Three Capes Track and the Port Arthur Historic site just a short drive away. If you want to see the coast shown in these photos, both the Tasman Island Cruise and Wild Ocean Tasmania offer excellent trips Bookings are for two adults; children under 16 are free. It may be possible for larger groups to occupy one site - please enquire before booking. As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs. There are no facilities on the block apart from a long drop dunny (byo paper) and a small supply of non-potable water so you will need to be self-sufficient though there are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van. Very private valley nestled between two mountainous sandstone ranges. 3.5 kilometers from Colebrook, via Yarlington road. The property in total size is 37 hectares half of which is gently undulating grassland slopes. These slopes lead to the banks of the beautiful Iles Creek which runs nearly all year round. The western range across the creek includes numerous caves within comfortable walking distance. The highest cave provides magnificent views to the East coast. Camping options include non-designated sites either side of the creek under the huge black-wood trees, restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles during winter and spring months, with a secluded site with year-round access for all vehicles. At the entrance sits the first of the designated sites, the rest are accessed via the meandering road down 300 or so meters to the camping ground entrance for the other two sites. The last 500-700 meters of Yarlington road leading to the entrance is quite steep. Some two wheel drive vehicles towing large vans have found this challenging, while others haven't. The two main camping areas now have a 'bush loo' in each site. if you wish to use these please use your own paper. Also, now for camper convenience the whole area has access to the campers' lounge and resource shelter. It contains First Aid and snake bite first aid kits. Water is available here. Pelican Bay is a saltwater tidal lagoon, it's very shallow water for a long way, then gets deep a fair way out. The water is too shallow for Boats , but there is a boat ramp nearby. Wineglass Bay is just up the road in Freycinet National Park. We only welcome guests over the age of 50 who have a fully self-contained vehicle. There are no amenities as yet so you must BYO everything you need and leave no footprint. Unfortunatley no grass sites only gravel and black / sandy sites available . Thank you.

Great location private yet was packed most of the time. Taj was so accommodating and Acaica site was great. We had two campers trailers and swag at our max plus room for more. Water was only five minute drive the same as disposing of rubbish. Great location to just set up and explore the coast beaches, walks, boating and more. We had a lovely stay at Kathryn and Alex’s place. Their berry farm is immaculate, a true credit to them both. The site we stayed at was so private and quiet. It was very generous, with a beautiful hand sawn picnic table and fire pit with seating. The visiting pademelons kept us entertained and the beautiful fresh water stream sent us off into a deep sleep each night.

From the moment we arrived at the Woodley property in Adventure Bay, we felt welcome. We were greeted by a beautiful, peaceful setting and two genuinely warm hosts — Alex and Kathyrn. The property is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach, yet feels wonderfully secluded, surrounded by native bushland. Woodley is clearly a labour of love. The berry and fruit orchards are stunning and carefully maintained, with Kathyrn, Alex and their father Lee regularly working around the property. We loved that they generously shared some of the harvest with guests, which added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. There are two excellent campsites, both very flat, well protected from the elements, and thoughtfully spaced so campers can enjoy privacy and quiet. Firewood is available to purchase, and the fireplace and table made evenings around the fire easy and comfortable. Alex and Kathyrn were gracious and attentive hosts, offering local knowledge, stories, and a genuine sense of care without ever being intrusive. The campsite is close to everything — you can walk into Adventure Bay for a coffee, and it’s only a short drive to beaches, walks, and local attractions. We spent a full week here with the family and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to the beach made it an ideal place to slow down and reconnect with nature. We highly recommend Woodley to anyone travelling with a campervan or tent. Thank you,

Nigel was so accommodating, observant of weather and assisted with water and local advice. Sites were very well separated from each other unlike other hipcamps on the island. Great proximity to everything Bruny. Water avail, doggo friendly, we spent 8 nights and could easy have stayed for months. Weather was terrible and awesome so we experienced the site in both. In very wet conditions, express concern if you’re uncomfortable with drive and Nigel will find you a suitable site. All round excellent

Wow! What an absolute stunning place. I was lucky to have found this spot; whilst browsing for a quick, last minute camping trip. We stayed 2 nights but wished we’d booked more. We booked ‘teatree’ and had this site to ourselves. We had 2 swags, gazebo with hut, toilet tent, camp kitchen, fire etc and we could’ve had more for sure. The sites are flat and with the long grass between sites, makes it still private. The dogs LOVED free roaming and the kids could ride their bikes and explore safely. The bonus was it being such a short distance to Cole’s Bay! Taj was awesome at answering my questions prior to booking. We will absolutely be back! Highly recommend!!

A beautiful private spot, ringed by trees and a creek, opposite stunning Adventure Bay, and with a berry and fruit orchard to wander in, this lovely site is well worth the wait for the ferry to Bruny. One of the best hipcamps we have stayed in. Kathryn and Alex and the dogs were friendly and welcoming and Kathryn very kindly gave us some homemade berry jam. Highly recommend Watering Place at Woodleigh. Thanks again

Absolutely loved our stay. So central to everywhere we wanted to visit. The property itself is stunning, wide green areas to camp and Nigel was a very engaging host.
