Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire and coals are fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbors.
Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets.
Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety.
We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups.
Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there.
Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety.
You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site.
Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet.

Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.
The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water. Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.
It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp.

There is a bathroom and small kitchenette available up at the shed, a large communal fire pit on the front paddock, and a sheltered picnic table and small playground in the back paddock. Feel free to jump the back fence into Sheep Station Park, but be aware that the park has no amenities and does not allow vehicles or pets.
Pets are welcome on our farm, but must be kept on a leash due to the farm animals and surrounding conservation area. Please make sure you always shut the gate when coming and going to prevent our animals wondering off the farm. Generally the dam is more for scenery than swimming... though you're welcome to try out the kayaks.

Just a short drive or a brisk walk to the historical township of Beerburrum where you can enjoy a coffee or brunch at the local cafe/bakery and if you're into hiking or mountain bike riding there are plenty of trails within the national parks close by.
Located just off Steve Irwin Way and approximately 4 kms from Exit 163 on the Bruce Highway.
Leave your van and go for a drive, just 15 minutes to Australia Zoo and 25 minutes to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast or take a drive up the hill to Maleny, Montville and Flaxton where there is always plenty to do and lots of shops to explore.
If you are in need of a few essentials, we are also handy to Coles, Bunnings, Chemist Warehouse and a Bottle shop. They are all within a 5-minute drive south on the Bruce Highway.
Bring your chair and enjoy our/your firepit whilst taking in the view. Firewood is available and please mention on arrival if you will be using a firepit.

They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance.
Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills.
There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

You’ll also find an IGA, bottle shop, and Tavern, as well as a dog-friendly beach, 3-4 minute drive from The Pond. With Bribie Island and Sandstone Point 25 minutes away, you'll have convenient access to events at the Sandstone Point Hotel.
Important Information:
The Magic Pond is a private property, not a commercial business. The land is suitable for self-sufficient campers only. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES, YOU NEED TO BRING OR HIRE YOUR OWN TOILET, WITHOUT ONE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. No dumping of waste is permitted on the property. The closest dump point is Caboolture Showgrounds (140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510), which is open 24/7 and approximately 15 km from The Magic Pond.
Firewood is available for purchase.

Our little piece of paradise is 50 acres of paddock and bushland set in the Glass House Mountains, halfway between Brisbane and Noosa. Property is close to lots of walking tracks and mountains to hike in the area and we are only 5ish mins drive from the town centres of Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. We are surrounded by pineapple farms and honest boxes of limes, pineapples and avocados are spotted along the nearby streets.
Our little hobby farm is perfect for a city break! Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and wallabies passing through. There is an old macadamia orchid and we are currently in the process of building a new chicken coop, so will hopefully have hens and eggs soon! Numerous damns and creeks run through the property but they have not been cleared of weeds for swimming.
Clyde is our resident horse who will likely come visit you at your campsite. He is the sweetest boy and loves nothing more than a carrot and a gentle pat. He is an old boy now so not suited for riding but is a wonderful companion!
There are no facilities here so all campers will need to be self sufficient with a camping toilet. It is preferred that campers bring their own water but bore water can be supplied if you run out (not the ideal for drinking).
I live in the main house so am available for any emergencies but will give you your privacy! Dogs are welcome as long as they do not chase off the wildlife and are calm around the horse. I have a dog at the house so must also be dog friendly or else kept on lead!
Campfires are allowed in designated fire pit dependant on fire rating.

Not too far from Brisbane. Grounds are kept quite clean, toilet is composting, but very clean and no smell bar the occasional waft if the conditions happen to line up (seriously this is a super minor thing). Shower was hot and had acceptable water pressure. Nitpicking would be that it's a bit on the small side, but as long as you don't flail about, your clothes won't get wet. I could suggest bringing a light at night though as it seemed a bit dim at night.
Otherwise, cows were fun to gawk at, the host Ryan is a super chill and nice guy and I would definitely stay again when the opportunity arises.

Stayed at “The Secret Campsite” for a couple of nights. Perfectly private, completely quiet & plenty of room for a few vans if you’re going with friends. Night sky was amazing!! Would definitely go again. One thing, definitely more suited to high clearance cars & vans. We have a 20ft semi off-road van & bottomed out both going in & coming out. Some minor damage, but that’s on us not the host! Mitch was great to talk to & very helpful. We definitely recommend this place. 😊

We loved our time on Tony’s property! It was only for a night but we feel so relaxed. Our four year old loved the creek and making new camp friends. The views of the cows on the rolling hills was beautiful. Tony’s communication was great and the toilets are an added bonus.
