Welcome to The Hills Looking for a classic country escape with a dash of adventure and a healthy dose of fresh air? You’ve found it! Tucked away on our peaceful working farm, this is where the birds sing louder, the cows moo freely, and the pace of life slows down. We’re just a short drive from the charming Woodford township, about 40 minutes from Somerset — perfect for grabbing a coffee or topping up supplies — and close to the Stony Creek Day Use Area, ideal for a bushwalk, picnic, or refreshing dip. Whether you’re up for some local exploring or just want to kick back at camp, you’re in a great spot. Pull up, pitch your tent, or park your van and let the serenity (and possibly the distant mooing) wash over you. Whether you’re here for a chill night under the stars or a few days of reconnecting with nature, you’ll feel right at home. ⸻ DOGS WELCOME! We love furry campers! Just keep them close, preferably on a leash within the camping area. We want them — and our cattle — safe. ⸻ FIRES ALLOWED What’s a campout without a campfire? You’re more than welcome to have a fire — just make sure it’s in the designated fire pit. No firewood? No worries! Firewood is available from the stall down the road before you head up — $10 a bag. ⸻ • BYO Essentials: • Shower setup • Toilet • Rubbish bin (and please take all rubbish with you – leave no trace) • Poo bags — please pick up after your dog • Firewood (or grab a bag for $10 from the stall down the road) • Tent, van, or camper • Fairy lights • A healthy dose of respect – for the locals, the land, and fellow campers ⸻ Come for the views, stay for the vibes, and leave with a full heart. This is camping, country-style – no frills, just the good stuff. IMPORTANT NOTICE: For your safety and the protection of the surrounding environment, all guests are required to stay within the designated camping area at all times. Leaving the marked camp area is not permitted under any circumstances. Thank you for respecting this rule and helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. What to expect: > Total seclusion and silence > A perfect space to disconnect and recharge > 4WD access only. The track is suitable for four-wheel drives only > Firewood available for purchase at the firewood stall before you head up the hill > Check-in details provided 24 hrs prior to arrival > There are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. > Please respect the land and practice leave-no-trace camping
