If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-) PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best). If you choose to camp in the open away from the trees you will still have a river view, the house will be in sight, but we live a quiet life and will respect your privacy. The site is perfect for couples and family/friend groups. We can accommodate, tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. Being so close to the CBD the site is a great option for 'shake down' short stays for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. There is a large flat grassy area for kids to play and ride bikes. Enjoy riverfront walking and riding trail access right from your campsite. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Firewood bundles are available as an 'extra' for $20, if you would like a bundle waiting for you please amend your booking to include firewood. Our geese and ducks and chickens are hand reared so they are not aggressive at all 😃 We have two Sausage dogs, Ockie and Arlo. Ockie especially likes to visit campers, Arlo is a little less social but she may visit if she musters up the courage. This is their home so if you aren't doggy people perhaps this isn't the campsite for you. Please keep your food and rubbish up high so the doggos and other critters don't help themselves. Horse riding lessons are available by prior arrangements. Please give 7 days notice prior to your stay should you wish to book a riding lesson. The property is 33 kilometers from Ipswich and 63 kilometers from Brisbane City. Come camp and enjoy a new mountain biking experience. This property has great possibilities for rough downhill mountain biking. It is also suitable for hosting Duff Festivals and alternative counter-culture meets. There are multiple tracks on the property for riding your mountain bike. It is in close proximity to Ipswich and Brisbane, and the Plainlands Tavern, Woolworths, and Bunnings are just a short drive up the road. Minden has a petrol stop, and you can grab your morning coffee at Barb's Kitchen. Our 1000 acres mountain top working cattle and horses farm is only 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD. It offers spectacular Glasshouse mountains and ocean views. Activities include hiking, swimming, canoeing, horse riding and more. You can bring your own tent, caravan, motorhome or stay in bunkhouse that sleeps 10 with shower. From many parts of the farm you have a beautiful views encompassing Malenny, Glasshouse Mountains , Bribie island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe and Brisbane Port Site. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. The region is a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and abseiling locations, the mountains are also home to six small townships, linked by rail and country roads. The views to the east and west are quite beautiful, and despite being adjacent to the Warrego Highway, the property is very private. There are multiple tracks on the ten acres, which are suitable for mountain bike enthusiasts, and there is abundant wildlife living on the property. The vegetation is young regrowth forest composed mainly of wattle with some young planted bamboos. The dam is not always full, but it is cool and refreshing when it is. The property is 33 kilometers from Ipswich and 63 kilometers from Brisbane City. Come camp and enjoy a new mountain biking experience. This property has great possibilities for rough downhill mountain biking. It is also suitable for hosting Duff Festivals and alternative counter-culture meets. There are multiple tracks on the property for riding your mountain bike. It is in close proximity to Ipswich and Brisbane, and the Plainlands Tavern, Woolworths, and Bunnings are just a short drive up the road. Minden has a petrol stop, and you can grab your morning coffee at Barb's Kitchen. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
